"Isn't it about eliminating the demon?" 0

Once again, Ling Chanzi found himself grappling with the same issue. In his eyes, eradicating demons was as natural as his devotion to Buddhism; everything seemed self-evident to him, as if guided by the Buddha himself. 0

The rain had stopped; it was time. Liu Lao Jiu reminded them. 0

Gu Ping approached the door and looked at the sky. Seeing that the dark clouds had dispersed, he extinguished the campfire. With two pieces of meat left, Gu Ping asked, "Should I eat or not? I'm not denying it; I'm hungry." 0

Little Monk swallowed hard and shook his head. "That would be disrespectful to the Buddha; we cannot eat." 0

"Then I guess I'll just stay hungry!" With that, Liu Lao Jiu devoured all the remaining meat and took a large swig of wine before getting up to leave. 0

"Has Maitreya told me where to find that demon?" Gu Ping asked again. He couldn't shake the feeling that the demon Little Monk mentioned might just be Zhuang Zhixian. 0

The Buddha said he should head towards Jincheng, and he would surely encounter that demon. 0

"Should I go with him? Perhaps I might find the demon I'm looking for." 0

"Alright," Ling Chanzi nodded and followed Gu Ping. The three of them set off in the direction of Jincheng once more. 0

"In the night, rain falls and winds rise swiftly; deep sleep cannot dispel the lingering wine. I ask the curtain-roller, yet they say the begonia remains unchanged. Do you know? Do you know? It should be green and lush while red fades." 0

A good line, but alas, Gasping, the poet, is no longer among us. 0

Two people stood at the bridgehead of Chenqiao, reciting poetry. Gan Yuan, having received news first due to the control of the Jade Void Sect over Great Jin, hurried to Chenqiao. Hong Ling arrived as well, flying in on Hong Yulong's flying boat. While reciting the same poem, Hong Ling thought it strange that cultivators would have the leisure to dabble in literature; they spent all month contemplating their cultivation and had little time to pay attention to the Warblers and Swallows of the Dust Realm. 0

However, Gan Yuan was an exception. He always enjoyed such things, believing that poetry could bring him a moment of tranquility. He wondered who had written that particular poem; although the poet was merely a mortal, their work reached a level that ordinary people could hardly aspire to. 0

"I know you’re not just idly wasting time," Hong Ling mocked Gan Yuan, choosing not to engage further as someone approached. 0

Hong Yulong sat with his legs hugged to his chest, watching the person rowing a boat with little interest. He turned to leave but was called back by the rower. 0

"Hey, you there, Hong Yulong! I don't deny it—are you strong? Will you come over tomorrow for a High Leg contest? You really have the nerve to say something so provocative coming from Luchenzhou," the rower said. His boat was nothing special; it was just an ordinary vessel, not a flying ship. Indeed, it was a boat that could still fly in Tian Zai. Bu Luo from Luchenzhou had deliberately stopped his boat on the water's surface and rowed over. 0

With my two Dongzi, Xiao Liuzi could easily send me flying with a single slap. 0

Upon hearing Hong Ling's words, everyone twitched their lips. Such remarks were likely only something Hong Ling would dare to make. Hong Yulong moved closer to Hong Ling; there were so many people around—at least give him some face. 0

"I have face; where is it? I don't deny it," he replied, feigning comfort while saying nothing more. 0

"Can we be serious for once?" Gan Yuan sighed, while Bu Luo's expression turned somewhat grave. He knew that on that boat, Coco truly had High Leg. 0

Gold Mid-stage—he could sense it. Hong Yulong touched Dongba and continued, "It should be... I don't deny it... wrong leg." 0

"So arrogant! I'm just a Pseudo Golden Elixir," Bu Luo retorted, disbelief evident on Gan Yuan's face. 0

He claimed he didn't deny it—his wrong leg. Hong Yulong seemed to weigh both sides' combat power again before delivering an answer that made Gan Yuan feel uncomfortable and desperate. 0

The two of us teamed up to play with him. 0

Here he comes. 0

Before Gan Yuan could finish his words, he heard Hong Yulong's warning and immediately summoned the Mountain Sea Fan. He tossed it in front of him, transforming it into a gigantic wall-like fan that blocked the path of several people. 0

Boom! 0

The massive collision sent a huge wave crashing up from Qiao Dong's river, causing the water to flow backward. The force of the wave knocked people by the river several meters away, and someone shouted in panic about a child—his child. 0

Seeing this, Hong Ling noticed that a little girl had been swept into the river. She quickly looked at Gan Yuan, who turned to his junior brother, Xiao Chun, urging him to save her. 0

Guo Xiaochun also spotted the child who had fallen into the water. Hearing Gan Yuan's call, he leaped forward and dashed through the water toward the drowning little girl. Just as he was about to reach her, a flash of sword light shot straight toward him. 0

In mid-air, he shouted something derogatory and tried to dodge to the side using the momentum of the water. Unfortunately, he couldn't save the little girl. When he looked back, he saw that she was already in Luchenzhou's arms, being carried swiftly toward the shore. 0

"Hey! You!" Hong Ling shouted from the bridge, calling out to Luchenzhou as he continued to berate him. "Despicable! Shameless!" 0

"Who told our people to be so careless? How can we blame him for being despicable?" Luchenzhou replied as he placed the little girl safely on the shore and then soared back toward the bridge. 0

Gan Yuan met him halfway, while Hong Yulong glanced at a young man playing a flute with Yu Xiao in his hands. He suddenly recalled someone he had encountered over a decade ago and couldn't help but smile slightly. So it was you after all. 0
