"Maybe," Dao Qi replied, feeling too weak to argue with the person. If he could just take a moment to rest, it would save him from exhausting all his strength later. 0

"Afu is dead," the person continued. "A few days ago, it happened. No one could harm him, at least not within the Liu Xia Imperial Palace. It was never supposed to happen." 0

At first, Dao Qi didn't recognize who Afu was, but when Bu Luo heard the name Liu Xia Imperial Palace, memories flooded back. It was the Eunuch who had seen him off when he left the capital. If he remembered correctly, that Eunuch was named Afu—a respectable elder, at least in Dao Qi's eyes. 0

Dao Qi had heard some stories about that Eunuch who served two emperors. He knew that Afu sometimes donated gifts from the emperor to poor families. So even though Afu had become a high-ranking official later on, he still didn’t deny the existence of poverty. It was hard to understand why a eunuch would have such a kind heart; indeed, the world was full of surprises. 0

Now that he was dead, it truly felt like a gasp of loss. Bu Luo lamented those times and wondered how he should worry about Jie Donglai now. 0

The person behind him showed no signs of stopping and continued speaking. His command plate had returned with initial news—two words: Ninth Underworld. 0

Hearing those two words sent a shiver down Dao Qi's spine. Was the legendary dark world real? If so, then that mission and all those legendary tales would forever remain just that—tales for Dao Qi. 0

He stopped drinking tea, knowing that the person behind him had finished speaking. When he turned around and saw the figure standing there, he suddenly realized he could no longer see that person clearly; it was as if they were light in the ocean, warming and melting away his doubts. 0

"Who is Coco?" Dao Qi whispered, unable to believe that such a person existed in this world. No one would believe that someone like them could exist—like light in this world. 0

His name was Chongguang, and now Afu had sacrificed himself. He felt lost; he feared that Afu's secrets might be revealed. Afu was a good person, at least in his eyes. 0

When Dao Qi first heard those words, he didn't attempt to draw his sword again. He knew the gap between them was too vast; courage and confidence couldn’t bridge it. Listening to Chongguang's words, Dao Qi watched as Chongguang extended his left leg and opened his five fingers. An endless light transformed into a beam that engulfed Dao Qi in an instant. 0

Chongguang watched as Dao Qi disappeared before him, as if that world had never existed at all. He continued choking back emotions; now his eyes had turned like those of others—searching for Gu Ping and reclaiming their rightful light through the Light Canon. 0

With steady strides, each step seemed precisely measured, as if he were walking in perfect synchronization. He moved slowly yet swiftly, like a light drifting outside the world, visible yet unattainable. 0

In Tuan City, Hong Ling was enjoying a fine brew at Lingyuan Pavilion. His red sleeves splashed with some wine, and the corners of his hair were dampened by the drink. Bu Luo didn’t mind at all, drinking heartily like a true man. 0

The Red Maiden truly lived up to her reputation as a middleman in the martial world; how many men could compare to her spirited demeanor? Walking alongside Hong Ling was Feiyuxuzong's leader this time, Gan Yuan. 0

It was amusing to see. Hong Ling, a secular woman, hardly caught the eye of someone like Chang. Hong Ling complimented Liu Jia, who guessed correctly that the dog killer was indeed from Feiyuxuzong. They had sold Chen Xiaoliu’s information to Six Little Mice, and this time Jade Void Sect's attitude was quite evident; they had come to dismantle his Limitless Platform. 0

Inside the building, Liu Jia remarked to Leng Gucun that they were truly a bunch of troublemakers. 0

Leng Gucun smiled but said nothing. He knew Jade Void Sect wouldn’t act without purpose, especially not now when they had come out to confront Moon River Sect. No matter how one looked at it, Moon River Sect represented something significant in the World of Mortals. It would be absurd for them to confront him without Tai Xu's backing. 0

Gan Yuan also chuckled softly. He was already in the late stage of foundation building and had excellent hearing. Liu Jia was shouting so loudly that it would be impossible not to hear him; yet what could he do? That time Jade Void Sect had sought out that troublemaker and stirred up even more chaos. 0

But Hong Ling wouldn’t let it go. As a martial artist, she believed that if words failed, swords would meet instead. Liu Jia spoke so harshly that she felt compelled to find a venue for a confrontation. Slamming her hand on the table, she stood up and pointed at Liu Jia, shouting: "Old Man, who are you cursing?" 0

Liu Jia's lips twitched in surprise; he hadn’t expected a girl to react so fiercely. He found himself at a loss for words but couldn’t let his momentum falter. Although he didn’t have many allies here, Six Little Mice were mere mortals—how could they interfere in a battle between immortals? So Liu Jia stood firm: "Doesn’t everyone know who I’m talking about?" 0

"Alright then, Old Man, let’s see your sword." 0

As he spoke, he reached for his sword to strike at Liu Jia, but Bu Luo intervened just in time. 0

"Enough, Red Maiden! Why must you keep buzzing like a fly? Come on, let’s drink!" 0

Hong Ling glanced at Gan Yuan, then shot a fierce look at Liu Jia before continuing to drink. Gan Yuan smiled and accompanied Hong Ling, knowing that Hong Ling was trying to test his attitude. If the Six Little Mice and the Moon River Sect got into a fight, would they, from the Jade Void Sect, lend a hand? What the Six Little Mice wanted to know most was whether Feiyuxuzong would get involved in that matter and what price they would have to pay. After all, wasn't it the nature of the Edge of the World Pavilion to pursue profit? Gan Yuan pondered. 0
