Once confirmation of any Exotic Species was received, they would act according to proximity principles and proceed with the fastest cleanup possible! The deputy director's voice was resolute, and the response from the Special Bureau members was equally decisive. "Yes!"
That night, Lin Bai slept more soundly and comfortably than ever before. It felt as if he had fallen into a serene and beautiful dream.

"Professor Lin! You’ve turned!" Her voice trembled with excitement, breaking slightly as she spoke.
Just as she finished her sentence, the door to the hospital room was suddenly flung open with force, and a group of doctors and specialists rushed in. Each expert wore a tense and focused expression. Some furrowed their brows, intently studying the data reports in their hands, while others looked eagerly at Lin Bai, as if trying to discern the key to his condition directly from him.
"The Snowd Index and Gulard Characteristic Line have truly decreased!" exclaimed an elderly expert, his eyes wide with surprise and a complex mix of emotions on his face. "Could it be that antibodies have formed?"
Another specialist, wearing glasses and flipping through the medical records rapidly, added urgently, beads of sweat forming on his forehead, "No, the Marki Parameter hasn’t changed; it’s still in a critical state."
A burly expert shook his head, his expression serious and grave.
The doctors busily examined various indicators. Soon, they engaged in a lively discussion, exchanging words back and forth. They argued, pondered, and nodded in agreement. The ward was filled with a tense yet hopeful atmosphere. Lin Bai could not understand the obscure terminology being used. However, he was very clear in his heart. This was the change in characteristic indicators brought about by the extension of his life by seven days.
Before long, the experts quickly gathered some data and carefully assessed Lin Bai's condition. After offering some words of comfort, they left, still frowning and quietly discussing among themselves. Nurse Lina's earlier extreme surprise had gradually faded, but her gentle smile remained as she softly reassured him: "It's okay, Professor Lin. At least your condition is gradually improving. This means you still have a chance for a full recovery!"
