Chapter One Hundred and Three: Who's Right in This Matter?
Loki felt that something was off.
After returning from Earth, he first stumbled and fell on the steps of the Rainbow Bridge, then collided with a stone pillar on his way back to the palace, drawing the attention of everyone around him.
Most importantly, as time passed, he began experiencing various symptoms like auditory and visual hallucinations. He kept seeing a dry well, from which a disheveled Odin approached him, cradling a bloody, baby version of himself. It was terrifying beyond measure.
At first, Loki brushed it off, thinking it might be due to his recent setbacks. However, after suffering a significant loss, he resolved to abandon Thor and let his brother fend for himself. He had his own plans to pursue.
His plan was to use the Ancient Winter Coffin and the Rainbow Bridge to wipe out Asgard's nemesis, the Frost Giant clan.
When his father awoke from the long Odin's Sleep and discovered that the Ice Giants had been exterminated by his own son, perhaps he would finally see Loki in a new light and take pride in his adopted child.
That was Loki's thought process; that was his intention.
But… plans are beautiful while reality is harsh.
About five or six hours after returning to Asgard, illusions began to overwhelm him. Endless fantasies flooded his mind. At this point, Loki finally realized that he had likely been manipulated. While fighting against it and searching for solutions, he found himself overwhelmed. For now, he couldn't focus on destroying Jotunheim.

Meanwhile, on Earth.
Bai Luo took advantage of Coulson's detention of numerous Frost Giant warriors to quietly slip through a door and escape.
He returned to the brightly lit hospital.
A Big-Breasted Nurse walked leisurely past him, waving and shaking a large test tube filled with a green liquid as a gesture of friendliness and warmth.
Alyssa appeared behind Bai Luo like a ghost, saying, "You can detain the person here, but that big square hammer makes me uncomfortable. Get rid of it as soon as possible."
Bai Luo was somewhat surprised, but he reassured her a few times before going to find Thor.
Since Loki was unjust, Bai Luo felt no need to be merciful.
After such a long time had passed, Thor had calmed down. When Bai Luo pushed open the door and walked in, Thor was sitting calmly in the corner of the room.
It seemed that this lengthy imprisonment had allowed him to grow just a little.
He squinted at Bai Luo and asked, "So it was you who ambushed me?"
Bai Luo replied with a smirk, "Respectable Mr. Thor, this was not an ambush. You entered illegally; I merely arrested you."
Thor snorted coldly, clearly dissatisfied with this reasoning.
Bai Luo smiled. To be honest, whenever he saw an Asgardian, he couldn't help but feel an impulse to take out the frying pan and hit them on the head.
But Bai Luo held back; he thought to himself that he was here to negotiate, not to fight.
Bai Luo crouched down next to Thor and said with a smile, "I know you're probably unhappy with the current situation, but do you know how much trouble and even disaster your sudden arrival has caused us?"
Thor looked puzzled. "Impossible. We are gods; we wouldn't harm mortals."
Bai Luo sighed dramatically and said, "There’s a town nearby called Old Bridge Town. Just yesterday, four Asgardian warriors and a weapon called the Destroyer were sent here. Without hesitation, they began to wreak havoc upon our homes and slaughter our people. Just yesterday alone, over ten people died under the laser of the Destroyer. They once had happy lives with families, children, and careers, but they lost everything due to this calamity."
Bai Luo described the appearance of those four Asgardians so that Thor would recognize them as his own people.
Thor remained alert and responded immediately, "They came for me, and all of this is because of you..."
"Because I captured you?" Bai Luo chuckled lightly. His voice was calm and magnetic, steady yet possessing an indescribable persuasive power. "Let’s think about it from another perspective: if someone suddenly fell into Asgard from above and left a huge crater with a hammer on your territory—especially if that person was the famous Son of Odin along with Mjolnir—would you just pretend not to see it? If you hadn’t acted so rashly, I would have chosen to talk with you instead of knocking you out... I truly apologize for having knocked you out."
"Then yesterday, when your people—the Asgardians—came looking for you, I stepped forward immediately because I realized that while I might not fear your power, the citizens of my planet cannot withstand your brutality."
"We are not brutal," Thor said, but for some reason, his confidence felt a bit lacking at that moment.
Bai Luo's smile appeared somewhat forced as he spoke in a tone of resignation, "Yes, you are not brutal. That's why I stepped forward immediately to hand you over. I have realized the mistake I made; Asgard is not something we Earthlings can provoke. I should have taken a more passive approach to your arrival. Alas, so many people died because of this... sigh."
Bai Luo's words were filled with regret, his expression one of sorrow and lamentation.
However, Thor felt quite uncomfortable listening to him.
Of course, this discomfort stemmed from the realization of "How could we Asgard behave like this?"
Thor might be a bit arrogant, but he was certainly not a bad person.
Bai Luo's words made Thor aware that his method of descending was neither dignified nor friendly. Bai Luo capturing him was indeed the right thing to do. However, as the victim who had suffered under the frying pan twice, it was nearly impossible for Bai Luo to persuade him solely with such words. Thus, the earlier statements served merely as a prelude; what truly mattered were the subsequent remarks. Bai Luo spoke in a tone that conveyed, "I am clearly doing the right thing, yet I have paid a heavy price for it," highlighting how many had perished due to Asgard's unreasonable actions. In an instant, Thor found himself unable to maintain his bravado.
