The hall was eerily quiet, and the few groomsmen who had come with Feng Dong huddled together, trembling. They were not good people, having mingled with Feng Dong, but now they didn’t even dare to look at Jiang Chen. He was like a demon, killing without a second thought.

“Pingping, if Jiang Chen really resolves this trouble, will you actually start to like him?” Yang Er suddenly asked.
“Uh, no way,” Liu Pingping defended herself weakly.
“That’s good! To be honest, you and Mr. Jiang aren’t suited for each other. Even though I’ve only spent two hours with him, I really dislike his attitude. It’s better to keep your distance from someone like that,” Yang Er advised earnestly, worried that her friend might fall for Jiang Chen.
“He killed Feng Dong today for my sake. From now on, whatever he asks of me, I will not hesitate to comply. One must be grateful,” Liu Pingping said resolutely.
“Hey, if you don’t listen to me now, you’ll regret it later. Mr. Jiang is too flashy; he doesn’t know how to keep a low profile. If he dares to kill someone, what else wouldn’t he do?
