Feng Tianlong sat atop a massive Demon Bull, coldly surveying the battlefield ahead. The Demon Bull was pitch black, exuding a strong aura of malevolence, its eyes glimmering with red light, and its powerful body as hard as steel. Clad in black armor, Feng Tianlong's eyes were sharp like an eagle's, and his formidable presence instilled fear in the surrounding Demon Soldiers, who dared not show any signs of negligence.
Under Feng Tianlong's command, the demon army stood in formation, each soldier ready for battle. Their gazes were fixed on the distance, where the Southern Capital lay engulfed in flames, plumes of smoke swirling in the air, seemingly narrating the brutality of the ongoing conflict.
A slight smirk appeared at the corner of Feng Tianlong's mouth; he knew this battle would be the decisive clash between humans and demons, and he would be the master of this confrontation.
Suddenly, a wounded Shadowbird Beast flew in from afar. Its wings were damaged, its body covered in scars, struggling to stay airborne with a Demon Soldier hanging from its feet. This soldier was Uruel, the commander Feng Tianlong had dispatched for reconnaissance.
Uruel's face was filled with terror and pain; his body trembled uncontrollably as if he had reached his limit. The Shadowbird Beast barely landed before Feng Tianlong, and Uruel fell to the ground in a disheveled heap, trembling as he looked up at Feng Tianlong.
"Respected... Elder..." Uruel's voice quivered, filled with fear and helplessness.
Feng Tianlong regarded him coldly, his gaze devoid of any pity. "Uruel, you have failed."
"Elder, please... give me another chance..." Uruel pleaded urgently, desperation lacing his voice. "I will attack again and ensure the mission is completed..."
Feng Tianlong did not respond; his eyes were as cold as ice, sending chills down Uruel's spine. He slowly rose from the Demon Bull and gracefully approached Uruel, looking down at the kneeling Demon Commander.
"Uruel," Feng Tianlong's voice was deep and frigid. "Failures do not deserve another chance."
Just as Feng Tianlong was about to deliver a fatal blow, Uruel collapsed to the ground and cried out in sheer terror, "Elder! Please spare me! I have crucial intelligence regarding the human forces!"
Feng Tianlong's movement halted instantly. His gaze remained icy as he stared at Uruel, seemingly weighing his worth. The surrounding Demon Soldiers held their breath, awaiting Feng Tianlong's decision.
"Speak," Feng Tianlong said coldly, his voice laced with threat.
Uruel felt a glimmer of hope and hurriedly replied, "Elder, the human defenders are now few in number. After numerous battles, their strength has been nearly exhausted. The strongest among them is only Master Han; he is currently the only one who poses a threat to us."
A flicker of interest crossed Feng Tianlong's eyes, but his expression remained stern. "Continue."
"As long as we can eliminate Master Han's interference," Uruel said eagerly, "the Southern Capital will have no resistance left. We can easily conquer it. Although Master Han is powerful, he is ultimately just one person. If we concentrate our forces, we can defeat him."
Feng Tianlong fell silent for a moment, contemplating Uruel's words. Uruel cautiously observed Feng Tianlong's expression, feeling anxious.
"Very good," Feng Tianlong finally spoke, his tone icy yet tinged with approval. "Your information holds some value."
Uruel breathed a sigh of relief, looking at Feng Tianlong with gratitude. "Thank you for your mercy, Elder. I will continue to serve you and do my utmost for the victory of the demon race."
Uruel knelt on the ground, trembling all over, his face marked with fear and sweat. His cautious demeanor only served to irritate Feng Tianlong further, fueling his inner rage.
"Do you remember why I called you to conduct the advance operation?" Feng Tianlong said impatiently, his gaze sharp as it pierced through Uruel.
Uruel stammered and hesitated, unsure of what to say, his eyes flickering with fear and confusion. His lips trembled slightly but no sound came forth.
"Speak!" Feng Tianlong's patience reached its limit as he suddenly grabbed Uruel, lifting him as if he were a small chick, fury blazing in his eyes.
Uruel's face turned pale from the force of Feng Tianlong's grip, his legs flailing helplessly in the air. His lips quivered even more violently, yet he still couldn't utter a single word.
Feng Tianlong's roar echoed like thunder, "Because I want you to die! You useless waste!"
A glimmer of despair flashed in Uruel's eyes as his lips trembled. Finally, he managed to utter a weak voice, "Elder, I... I will do my utmost to serve you... please spare my life..."
Feng Tianlong sneered, cold light flickering in his eyes as he slowly said to Uruel, "There won't be a next time."
Terror swept across Uruel's face; he knew what fate awaited him. His body began to tremble, his lips parted slightly as if he wanted to say something, but no sound came out.
Without mercy, Feng Tianlong lifted Uruel high, his eyes filled with disdain and cruelty. His strength was immense, and Uruel felt like a feather in his grasp, utterly powerless to resist.
As Feng Tianlong moved, the Demon Bull raised its head excitedly, bloodlust gleaming in its eyes. Its sharp horns glinted like blades, seemingly waiting for the impending bloodshed.
"Elder... I beg you..." Uruel finally managed a faint sound, but before his plea could finish, Feng Tianlong swung his hand violently, smashing Uruel against the Demon Bull's sharp horn.
The horn pierced through Uruel's back as easily as tearing paper, blood gushing forth and staining the Demon Bull's head. Uruel let out a piercing scream, his body slumping down weakly, his eyes filled with pain and despair.
The Demon Bull seemed drawn to the blood, howling excitedly. It shook its head vigorously, causing Uruel's body to tremble in the air as blood flowed like a waterfall, splattering onto the ground and forming a pool of crimson.
Feng Tianlong coldly observed this scene, showing no hint of pity. His voice was as cold as steel as he commanded the surrounding Demon Soldiers, "This is the fate of traitors. Everyone listen up; prepare to attack Southern Capital! We will utterly destroy humanity's defenses and make them understand who the true ruler is!"
The Demon Soldiers responded in unison, their eyes gleaming with bloodlust as they readied themselves for the impending battle. Feng Tianlong mounted the Demon Bull once more, coldly gazing ahead at Southern Capital. He knew this would be a bloody massacre, but he cared not. He wanted humanity to realize that resistance was futile; submission at the feet of the demon race was their only choice.
