Severe Cold and Ziya felt a tightness in their hearts as they entered the intensive care unit and found that Sun Meng was missing. They feared the worst—that Sun Meng had not survived this ordeal. Anxiously, they rushed to the duty nurse to inquire about her condition. 0

When the nurse informed them that Sun Meng's condition had improved and she had been transferred to a regular ward, both of them let out a long sigh of relief. The tension that had gripped them suddenly relaxed, and they realized just how exhausted they were. 0

Ziya and Severe Cold searched for beds eight and ten in the area of the regular ward mentioned by the nurse. Ziya pushed open the door to the room and immediately spotted Sun Meng in bed ten. An IV stand hung above her bed, with a pale purple nutrient solution slowly dripping into her arm. At that moment, Sun Meng's complexion was gradually regaining its rosy hue, and her eyes fluttered slightly in her sleep. 0

"Is she having a nightmare?" Ziya whispered softly to Severe Cold beside her. 0

"Yeah," Severe Cold replied, glancing at the IV fluid. He adjusted the top bag of medication into a lower plastic bag connected to the drip line entering Sun Meng's arm. 0

Sunlight streamed through the window of the ward, casting a dreamy orange glow that illuminated Sun Meng's adorable doll-like face as she slept. The flawless skin on her cheeks radiated a soft halo of light. Watching her, Ziya couldn't help but smile warmly, recalling past moments, and she stepped forward to gently tuck Sun Meng's exposed hand back under the covers. 0

"She looks so cute right now, like a precious little baby," Ziya said with a playful smile as she turned back to Severe Cold. 0

"Indeed. After weathering storms, one can finally see rainbows. You two give me the impression of being like real sisters." 0

"No way! Not even real sisters can compare to us," Ziya replied with a raised eyebrow as she walked towards the window. Outside was a small balcony adorned with pots of vibrant green plants. From here, they could overlook the entrance of the hospital and bask in the warm sunlight. 0

Severe Cold followed Ziya onto the balcony, where a gentle breeze tousled their hair while fresh air filled their lungs. "This is definitely more comfortable than inside the ward. I can't stand the smell of hospitals; it's too medicinal," Ziya said with a smile, her dimples reflecting her happiness as she spoke to Severe Cold. 0

"What do you think about moving Sun Meng out here to soak up some sun once she wakes up?" Severe Cold suggested as he glanced back at Sun Meng lying in bed. 0

"That sounds great! I'll go check if she's awake," Ziya replied as she stepped back into the room, where a nurse was currently checking Sun Meng's pulse. 0

Perhaps it was the nurse pulling on Sun Meng's arm that stirred her. As the nurse stepped out, she moved slightly, and her eyelids fluttered open. 0

"You all..." she said, a mix of surprise and confusion crossing her face as she weakly surveyed the hospital room. 0

"Dear, it's so good to see you awake! You’ve been in a coma for four days! I was about to go crazy if you didn’t wake up. Shh! Don’t speak, just listen to us, okay?" Ziya exclaimed, tears of joy welling in her eyes as she hurriedly grasped Sun Meng's hand. The nurse had just told them that Sun Meng was recovering quickly and would be discharged in a few days, which brought immense happiness to both Severe Cold and Ziya. 0

Severe Cold went to the nurse's station to fetch a wheelchair, and together with Ziya, they helped Sun Meng sit in it and wheeled her out to the small balcony outside the ward to bask in the sunlight. "I like..." Sun Meng moved her lips, looking up at Ziya as she spoke. 0

"Yeah, I knew you loved sunbathing," Ziya replied with a smile, glancing at Severe Cold. 0

"I need to grab a blanket; it’s windy here," Severe Cold observed carefully before heading back inside the ward to fetch a blanket, which he gently draped over Sun Meng's shoulders. 0

"Ziya, you're lucky! He makes me like him too! Be careful; I might just steal him away from you," Sun Meng joked, her pale complexion not diminishing her humor and lively spirit. 0

"Sure! If you like him that much, I’ll just give him to you!" Ziya teased back, casting a sly glance at Severe Cold, who was busy fiddling with their water cups. 0

"You really would? I’d gladly accept! Such a precious gift will be stored in my memory forever." 0

"You two stop pushing me around like I’m some object. Only Ziya loves me enough. Come on, let’s drink some water," Severe Cold said, prompting giggles from both Ziya and Sun Meng, filling the balcony with a joyful atmosphere. 0

"Let’s play a game!" Sun Meng suggested as she looked at Severe Cold and Ziya. 0

"What game?" they both asked in unison, causing Sun Meng to burst into laughter while leaving the other two feeling slightly awkward. 0

"Let's tell stories. Today, we can bask in the sun here and freely share any experiences or tales we've heard. What do you think?" 0

"Sounds great! This suggestion is wonderful; it passes the time and offers new stories to listen to. I like it," Ziya clapped in agreement. She then looked at Severe Cold, "You have plenty of stories here; just pick one to share!" 0

"No problem, I'll tell you a story from our town. Just so you know, if you have nightmares tonight, don't blame me," Severe Cold said, stretching his face, which was as sharp as a knife, deep in thought for a long while... 0

... 0

Severe Cold loved swimming by the river as a child. It wasn't just him; everyone in the town, both adults and children, enjoyed swimming. So whether it was men or women, young or old, everyone had some knowledge of swimming techniques. 0

He remembered being thirteen years old and in fifth grade when summer vacation began. Amidst the shouts of his friends, he energetically jumped into the river, splashing water high into the air. 0

At thirteen, boys are just beginning to experience puberty and are filled with curiosity about the opposite sex. Severe Cold was particularly curious about the older girl next door. Her body was tightly wrapped in clothing, especially that exceptionally well-developed pair of breasts; he secretly wished he could reach out and touch them. 0

But as much as he thought about it, he wouldn't dare extend his hand to touch that girl's sensitive areas even if he had twenty-four times the courage. There were many Half-Grown Kids by the river whom Severe Cold knew; the girls wore tight swimsuits that revealed their two snowy white legs, making the boys at that naive age drool and unable to tear their eyes away. 0

At that moment, however, Severe Cold was not as bored as his companions; he thought about how one day when he grew up, he would be able to openly touch his beloved girl. He could explore the mysteries between men and women without restraint in a loving way... 0

Just as Severe Cold looked at his companions with disdain for their restless eyes, one of them suddenly exclaimed, "A Water Stick is coming!" (referring to a corpse floating on the river's surface). 0
