Chapter 40: Evil Jade Entwined (Part Three)
I had already closed my eyes, so I couldn't see anything. In the next moment, I silently recited a spell to activate Demon Eyes, allowing me to perceive everything clearly. A strange scene unfolded before me; even with my eyes shut, I could see through all the malevolence.
The woman lying on the bed before me was engulfed by a dark, oppressive aura that was rampaging within her body, emanating from her chest.
This made me furrow my brows. If Gousi were to undress his girlfriend, it would certainly be awkward, especially since I was currently a charming and strikingly handsome single man.
I explained to Gousi that the cause of her condition stemmed from an object on her chest that was continuously emitting Evil Energy, which was invading her essence and gradually consuming her consciousness and willpower, leading to her current state.
Upon hearing this, Gousi's face turned pale. He urgently asked, "Is there a way to treat this?"
I could help, but...
Seeing my hesitation, Gousi became anxious, his eyes reddening as he urged me to hurry. "If she dies, I won't let you off the hook."
I scoffed at his threat; intimidation wasn't my style. Saving her was necessary, but it depended on whether he could cooperate.
Gousi raised an eyebrow. "I beg you; as long as you can save her, I'll give you one of my eyeballs—just not anything else."
I thought to myself that Gousi was quite the character. People like him were usually seen only in movies or TV shows. I never expected to witness such a prominent figure in reality, so desperate for a woman. It seemed their relationship was more than just a simple romance; it might indeed be tied to life and death.
Seeing Gousi's eagerness to save her, I decided not to dwell on it too much and got straight to the point. "Alright then, you need to promise me not to get angry or threaten me. And most importantly, don't Daydream."
Gousi waved his hand impatiently. "Come on, I'm not daydreaming..." After scratching the back of his neck, he seemed to think deeply before blurting out, "You wouldn't be like those folk tales about dual cultivation therapy, would you?"
Hearing this, I nearly spat out a mouthful of blood. He was daydreaming, indeed! He actually thought of the trick commonly used by con artists in folk tales—helping people with their ailments without ever suggesting they go to a hospital, and without any proper exorcism techniques. Instead, they employed illegal methods that would embarrass their ancestors, using deceptive practices like dual cultivation to do harm.
I wanted to tell Gousi that this wasn't some nonsense about dual cultivation; I needed his help to loosen the collar of her clothing. I wanted to see if she was wearing anything around her neck and whether there was a tattoo on her chest.
Regarding that tattoo, there was a Yin Yang Tattoo involved. If a woman had something bad tattooed on her body, it could attract evil spirits. I wasn't very knowledgeable about tattoos, especially Yin Yang Tattoos. Because I didn't understand much about them, I didn't trust tattoo artists. In this day and age, with so many people from the '90s and '80s getting tattoos as a trend, I was reluctant to let an unfamiliar tattoo artist mess with my body.
As I spoke, I guessed that Gousi would find this request quite difficult. Sure enough, as soon as I made my request, his face turned green. He must have been cursing me in his heart—thinking I wanted to see my girlfriend's big chest and using some excuse about something being around her neck. He probably thought, "No way am I letting you see."
Using my Ghost Eye Sensory Technique, I sensed Gousi's thoughts. Knowing what he was thinking, I maintained a calm demeanor and quietly waited for his response.
Gousi remained silent as he reached up to feel around her neck. He pulled out a Red Silk Rope. The silk rope was intricately woven. As he continued to tug at it, he unexpectedly found that the end of the rope was stuck beneath her underwear.
Gousi became embarrassed; his face turned bright red as his hands trembled. Despite putting in a tremendous effort, he couldn't pull out the end of the silk rope. In frustration, he shot me a disdainful glance filled with anger—as if every inch of her body belonged to me and how dare a mortician want to look? But reality wouldn't let him dwell on that thought for long; even if he wanted to resist, his fingers reluctantly began to unbutton the first button.
As Gousi rolled up the blanket, I caught sight of her voluptuous figure—especially her exceptionally large chest. Goodness! Just one glance made me feel like I might bleed from my nose. I nervously touched my nose and silently thanked myself for staying composed. Looking at those breasts made it seem like they might burst through her bra; they were indeed a powerful weapon for capturing Gousi's heart.
A striking red string ran beneath her bra directly into her most intimate area, getting stuck in the narrowest and most tantalizing part of her cleavage. To fully see what connected from her neck down through the silk rope, we would need to unfasten the clasp of her bra.
I tried hard to avert my gaze, pretending to be calm while sneaking a glance at that expanse of white skin. Gousi was still busy—sweating profusely as he fumbled with his fingers. Suddenly, there was a pop! The bra came undone, and those magnificent breasts stood tall and proud, trembling slightly.
Damn! I could hardly contain myself.
Gousi's eyes widened; because I was present, he frowned slightly and lifted his fingers. With a muffled sound, those breasts lost their support and sagged slightly. Then from between her neck and the silk rope emerged a piece of jade—blood-red all over with some age to it—looking like a blood-red cat's eye engraved with strange patterns.
I was not the only one momentarily stunned; Gousi was also at a loss for words.
What I saw was a continuous stream of black mist emanating from that object. It was like the air that humans cannot live without, slithering with a certain sentience into my nostrils.
This black mist was not something everyone could see. Gousi certainly couldn't perceive it. When he noticed my gaze fixated on the Evil Jade on my chest, his expression darkened instantly. He frowned and said in a low voice, "Hurry up."
Damn it, I wanted to hurry too, but could this be done so easily? I refrained from voicing my frustrations and instead examined the rare Blood Jade closely. The patterns on the Blood Jade seemed familiar, yet I couldn't recall where I had seen them before.
"Tell me about the origin of this jade..."
