A group of people from Xiong Bing Lian gathered around the screen in the classroom. When Glen saw Shasha appear, his eyes widened in disbelief. “What the hell, it’s a hero?! What’s going on here?”
“I’ll take a look,” Liu Chuang moved from the back row to the front. Qilin silently shifted his attention to the television, and even Rosa, who had sworn off wanting to see Shasha again, couldn’t help but sneak a glance.
“Damn it, it really is him! This is insane!”
Hearing Liu Chuang’s exclamations filled with profanity made everyone else roll their eyes.
After watching for a while, Glen asked a question that silenced everyone. “Is what we’re supposed to do similar to what he did?”
Although those Gluttonous Soldiers were taken care of by Shasha, they could still tell that those guys were strong.
At that moment, Reina, who had been huddled in the corner like an invisible person, suddenly spoke up. “Don’t worry, they’re not that strong; otherwise, they wouldn’t have been dealt with so easily. If you’re afraid of these aliens’ firepower, I have a solution.”
“What solution? You push once, and I’ll push three times?” Liu Chuang shot a fierce glare at Reina. “You’re just standing there talking big; I’m just a petty gangster—why would I want to fight aliens?”
Upon hearing this, Reina closed her eyes and chuckled lightly before slowly rising and walking up to Liu Chuang. With his bewildered expression, she lifted him effortlessly into the air and slammed him against the wall, creating a human-shaped dent in the thick concrete.
As Reina stepped forward, pieces of black armor emerged from thin air and attached themselves to her body. By the time she exited the hole in the wall, she was clad in impressive armor like a valiant warrior.
Liu Chuang stared dumbfounded at this scene, even forgetting to struggle as she coldly stated, “This is Xiong Bing Lian, my territory. Remember not to cause trouble here!”
Liu Chuang nodded vigorously. Though he was rebellious, he wasn’t foolish; clearly, he couldn’t win against someone like her.
After setting down Liu Chuang, Reina turned and beckoned to Glen. He pointed at himself in confusion before obediently walking up to her.
“Didn’t you think aliens can’t be killed yet can easily kill you? I’m here to give you confidence!”
With a snap of her fingers, pieces of black armor appeared out of thin air and fitted themselves onto Glen, leaving everyone else astonished while he looked utterly bewildered.
In her hand, Reina conjured a long sword and struck down at Glen, eliciting gasps from the crowd.
Without a splash of blood, Glen touched his intact armor, a look of delight on his face. "This is amazing! What is it called?"
"It looks so cool; I want a set too," Zhao Xin couldn't help but chime in, his expression filled with envy.
Though the others remained silent, their admiration for the black armor was evident.
"This is called Black Armor, crafted from antimatter. It will be your trusted partner from now on!"
With that, the morale of the group was lifted, and they threw themselves wholeheartedly into their training.
However, they were far from being called warriors; they were still just fledgling hawks.
Reina had seen real eagles before, but unfortunately, that fellow refused to join Xiong Bing Lian. Watching this group of powerful misfits train, she couldn't help but feel regret over Shasha's situation.
The mentioned Shasha shivered involuntarily but didn't care who was talking about him. He looked at the mountain of plates before him with a wry smile; this was only six-tenths full, and he couldn't fathom how much this guy would eat.
Indeed, this glutton was Soton, who had been starving for thousands of years. After Shasha brought him back, his first request was for food.
As a result, he devoured thousands' worth of food in one sitting; this guy was simply an unparalleled bottomless pit.
"This is so delicious! I can't believe after all this time, food tastes this good now. Back then, we only ate it raw; the taste in my mouth was simply..."
While eating, he kept rambling on, making Shasha regret bringing him back.
Finally, Soton was full. The plates and boxes piled up to fill a third of the room. He lay lazily on the ground, a look of bliss on his face. "This life is too comfortable; I wouldn't trade it for anything!"
"You should think about how to escape from those guys chasing you! Although I'm not clear about your grievances with them, it's obvious that with your current abilities, you won't be able to evade their pursuit."
Shasha's words froze Soton's joyful expression, which quickly turned into a frown. "I don't even know who I offended! These guys are chasing me like mad dogs as if I killed their ancestors."
"Those guys are called Tao Tie. They will soon invade here in full force; where will you escape to then?"
Shasha continued to steer the conversation. Although she didn't know how strong the crocodile in front of her was, since the Gluttonous Soldier had already surrounded him, it was clear that this fellow was no ordinary creature.
Soton, being quite simple-minded, felt troubled for a moment and said, "Benefactor, what do you want me to do? You saved my life; I'll do whatever you say. After all, you won't harm me!"
Shasha's lips curled into a slight smile. "If it were up to me, I would naturally drive them away!"
Soton's eyes widened in disbelief. "Drive them away? Is that even possible?"
"Do you really want these culinary civilizations to be destroyed after they invade? In this world, there will be no trace left of what you are familiar with. Are you sure you want it to be this way?" Shasha coaxed gently.
Upon hearing this, Soton's eyes gradually turned crimson. The thought of losing all that food made him spring to his feet, roaring in anger, "I won't allow it! If that bunch comes, I'll tear them apart one by one!"
Shasha's smile grew wider. "That's more like it!"
