To be honest, Shasha never intended to join any organization. On the surface, he was pulled into Hellfire due to the pressure from the White Queen. At that time, his strength and influence were not significant, so he had no choice but to temporarily compromise.
Now, Shasha had the ability to turn the tables. However, in order to deal with the Black Queen, he still needed to rely on the White Queen's power. That was why he agreed to let Card King join him and Felicia in their actions.
If one thought carefully about it, there was certainly an element of surveillance involved.
The White Queen was well aware that Shasha held no loyalty towards her. Even if he had been tested before, it was merely because he did not want to be seen as treacherous; it was a matter of principle, not loyalty.
Despite knowing that Shasha could never collude with the Black Queen, she couldn't help but want Card King involved. On one hand, it was said that three people working together would ensure nothing went wrong; on the other hand, she feared they might contribute little effort.
Shasha really wanted to say, "You're overthinking this. I desire to defeat the Black Queen even more than you do." After all, it was about the mission, which had real benefits. The potential abilities extracted through Advanced Ability Extraction were at least S-rank or higher.
Using it once meant a random extraction; using it again allowed for specifying the range and type of abilities.
For example, abilities from One Piece's Fruit Ability, Bleach's Zanpakuto powers, Naruto's Ninjutsu skills, or various other anime, movies, and games. However, so far, only abilities from anime and games had appeared; none from movies had been seen yet. It could be that there were no channels for such extractions yet or perhaps his luck just wasn't good.
But it didn't matter much; after all, the abilities from anime and games were already impressive. Some of those powers were indeed game-changing.
However, one could not overlook the existing abilities extracted. After all, the potential of Quake Fruit was evident; regardless of direction—be it reality or illusion—the frequency of vibrations could tear through space and more.
Shasha also discovered a flaw in his own abilities: those exchanged through the Villain Reputation Store seemed to have less potential than those of their original hosts. This made sense; such powers were too easily obtained—how could they perfectly replicate all the qualities of the original host? Still, it wasn't too bad; at least with his various methods, he could position himself between kingdom-level and planet-level.
But surely the System must be aware of this? Perhaps there would be items in the future that could enhance ability potential.
As he pondered this, he followed Card King without knowing their destination. When the vehicle finally stopped, he found himself in front of an abandoned personal warehouse. With some confusion, he got out of the car and followed Felicia into the place where he immediately saw a world full of surprises.
Inside were many sophisticated surveillance instruments and complete equipment—it resembled a massive intelligence station.
On the screens displayed before him, Shasha saw several familiar figures: Spider-Man, Rogers, Tony Stark, and others.
Recalling his first meeting with the White Queen when she revealed her identity so directly, Shasha finally understood where her information came from. With such an intelligence station in place, what information could possibly be missed?
It seems that the Hellfire Club is not just a place of power; they are quite adept at monitoring everyone without being noticed. They can even deploy spy satellites right under the noses of those national satellites, which is impressive.
As Shasha pondered this, Card King spoke up, "This is an intelligence station operated by the Hellfire Club for decades, built with countless amounts of money and connections. The database here contains information that, in some respects, surpasses even that of S.H.I.E.L.D., which focuses on intelligence and defense. Our purpose for coming here is to locate the three capable subordinates of Black Queen!"
With that, Card King nodded toward the intelligence gatherer who had stopped working, signaling that it was time to begin.
The gatherer started operating the computer, and the screen immediately switched to outside a hotel. As the camera shifted, a figure cloaked in black appeared, their face almost entirely obscured.
The figure stood silently watching the television, motionless as if carved from stone.
The camera cut again, focusing on the figure in front of the screen. From beneath the shadow of the cloak emerged red skin.
"Asazuo, a mutant and Black Queen's most capable assistant. He is a ghost hidden in the shadows, his movements almost a mystery. Even though he stands before us now, he could vanish at any moment because space means nothing to him."
Listening to Card King's introduction, Shasha confirmed her suspicions about this individual.
Red Devil, a long-lived mutant who seemed not entirely human but rather from a hellish dimension.
This fellow had longed to return home, which is why for centuries he had been creating and breeding offspring, intending to use them as sacrifices to open a portal for his return. Among his descendants, Nightcrawler represented this mission, while Mystique was the one who bore his offspring. His nature was undoubtedly selfish, cold, and cruel.
Just as she was thinking this, the scene shifted again to reveal two figures that were not concealed.
One resembled charcoal in appearance, looking like someone from South America—muscular and cold in expression. The other was Shasha's 'old acquaintance,' Damon, the Hellstorm, who had died at her hands once.
"Sunspot, Black Queen's most capable assassin. Extremely powerful with mysterious abilities; his position is Black King."
"Damon, the Hellstorm; rumored to be the Son of Satan. He wields mysterious powers and controls space; his position is White King."
When it came to Damon, Card King's expression turned peculiar. "Not long ago, this guy suffered a major setback. He was once very powerful but fell victim to an unexpected trap. If it weren't for Black Queen saving him, his corpse would likely be rotting by now."
Hearing this, Shasha's expression turned strange; it was he who had taken action.
As the scene changed again, two women appeared. One was tall with striking golden hair, while the other, slightly shorter, had long fiery red hair.
"The one with golden hair is Tessa. She was originally one of us," Card King said through gritted teeth. "However, she later betrayed White Queen and joined Black Queen. She gained favor and is now responsible for handling internal matters within her team. The other one is Angelica Jones, nicknamed Flame Star."
Shasha had seen both of them—one in Saint Vancasa and the other during a house viewing.
Once Card King finished introducing Black Queen's current subordinates, Shasha asked, "Who do you plan to target first?"
At her question, Card King's eyes flickered, a playful smirk curling at the corners of his mouth as he uttered a name that surprised Shasha: "Asazuo."
