After leaving Banner behind, Shasha was unaware that the unconscious Banner in the rain had been found by Betty Ross. Even if she knew, she would only sigh, realizing that some things are irreversible.
Filled with anger, Shasha could only reluctantly await General Ross's arrival, for it was only then that she could see the transformed Hulk. In truth, aside from wanting to defeat Hulk to avenge her past humiliation, what she truly desired was Hulk's super gamma mutant genes.
Now with over 000 villain Reputation remaining, although she wasn't sure if she could redeem anything after defeating Hulk, having this goal naturally provided her with motivation to move forward.
After a night’s rest, Shasha arrived early the next morning at the entrance of Corvo Academy to stake out.
She was certain that Banner would return to Corvo Academy because Mr. Blue needed experimental data, which was located within the academy; thus, Banner would inevitably come back.
Sure enough, it wasn't long before Shasha spotted Banner and Betty Ross driving up. The two hurriedly exited their vehicle and rushed into the academy.
Finding a secluded spot, Shasha climbed over the wall to enter the academy. Before she could locate Banner, she suddenly felt an eerie sense of tranquility wash over her, as if everyone had been expelled.
The sounds of footsteps and vehicles echoed nearby. Shasha hid in a corner and saw a command vehicle accompanied by several armored cars driving onto the lawn outside the laboratory building. After coming to a steady stop, orderly squads of soldiers began to set up defensive fortifications and position heavy weaponry. Soon after, an elderly yet robust general slowly descended from the command vehicle.
Shasha couldn't believe these guys arrived so quickly. Silently cursing in her heart, she decided to observe the situation.
As a team of soldiers entered the laboratory building, it wasn't long before a loud bang echoed through the air. A tall green figure leaped down from mid-air, crashing into the ground and creating a massive crater.
Hulk had appeared, and as soon as he did, he was greeted with overwhelming firepower.
In her line of sight, Shasha noticed one soldier in particular who was exceptionally active and agile compared to others; upon reflection, she realized this must be Emil Blonsky!
Just like in the movies from her previous life, using sonic weapons against Hulk was indeed a clever tactic.
However, Hulk's strength grew with his anger, and his endurance increased accordingly. Two armored vehicles equipped with sonic weapons were instantly reduced to rubble. This made Hulk even more uncontrollable.
Overestimating himself, Bronski stepped forward to provoke Hulk but was met with a kick that shattered his bones and left him unconscious.
Ross shook his head helplessly, recalling Bronski's recent suggestion to inject him with the super-soldier Serum. But that was a matter for the future; right now, he needed to figure out how to subdue Hulk.
As General Ross watched the Hulk rampaging with no way to counter it, he was suddenly interrupted by Shasha, who had stood up behind him. "General Ross, it seems you are in quite a predicament."
Ross was initially taken aback, but after regaining his composure, he coldly replied, "Who are you?"
"You don't need to worry about that; all you need to know is that I can help you," Shasha said with a faint smile, exuding confidence. This time, he wouldn't act as recklessly as before.
Ross fell silent for a moment before slowly asking, "What do you want?"
In Ross's mind, there was never such a thing as free help. In situations like this, those who offered assistance usually had their own agendas. However, Shasha seemed to be an exception.
"I don't want anything; I just want to fight him!" Shasha pointed at the rampaging Hulk with a smile.
After staring at Shasha for a moment and seeing the desire for battle in his eyes, Ross let out a sigh of relief. "Then what are we waiting for?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Shasha leaped forward and was already in front of the Hulk.
The Hulk halted his destruction; he recognized Shasha. In his memory, this guy had hurt him quite a bit.
"Roar!!" The Hulk let out an angry roar directed at Shasha, ready to charge.
"What are you waiting for?" Shasha taunted, beckoning with his finger.
No sooner had the words left his mouth than the Hulk jumped forward, fists clenched and ready to strike!
Boom!
The ground shook from the force of the blow, but it missed its target.
Shasha sidestepped and moved behind the Hulk. With his right hand open, a white aura formed from Vibration and then slammed down onto the Hulk's back!
Stumbling forward, the Hulk didn't have time to feel angry because he sensed something unusual within himself. Confused, he touched his chest, and anger surged again as he charged at Shasha.
This time, Shasha skillfully dodged Hulk's attacks, occasionally striking his body with Vibration. The impact seemed insignificant, lacking grandeur, but only he knew the true reason behind it.
The uninjured soldiers gathered around Ross, rebuilding their defensive perimeter. One captain, an old subordinate of Ross, watched Shasha engage Hulk with impressive skill and couldn't help but ask, "General, where did you find this expert? I never expected someone could match this monster."
Ross pressed his lips together tightly, his expression darkening. "I don't even know who this guy is."
The captain was momentarily speechless, unsure of what to say.
In the distance, Betty Ross anxiously observed the battle between Hulk and Shasha. She felt helpless as her father's men had restrained her under the guise of surveillance, which was really just a form of protection.
As she grew more familiar with Hulk's fighting style, she realized he relied solely on brute strength, showing no technique whatsoever.
Though there was a saying in ancient martial arts that one strong man could defeat ten skilled ones, there was also a saying: "Dripping water penetrates stone."
