In the command center, listening to Rogers' report, Nick appeared calm. After a moment, he simply acknowledged with a "got it" and led Rogers to check on Shasha, who was receiving treatment in the medical room.
Shasha, whose physical condition was already beyond that of an ordinary person, was recovering quickly. If he were a regular individual, he would have been severely injured, but his recovery speed was remarkable, even without the healing abilities of Wolverine.
However, it was inevitable that his entire body was wrapped up like a dumpling.
Seeing Nick and Rogers approach, Shasha couldn't help but ask, "Did that guy leave?"
Nick nodded. "We've lost track of him; it seems he's already left Brazil."
Upon hearing this, Shasha felt it was only natural but couldn't shake off a sense of reluctance. Since entering the Marvel Universe, he had never faced defeat; he hadn't expected to lose so badly this time. For the first time, he realized that his strength was still insufficient—he needed to become much stronger.
"Although he escaped, we haven't come away empty-handed," Nick said as he placed a laptop on the table.
At this point, Shasha's mind raced. Banner had been in contact with an online acquaintance named Mr. Blue, attempting to 'kill' the Hulk within him. If they could locate Mr. Blue, it would be like catching a fish in a barrel.
However, Nick was unaware that Shasha knew more. He understood that Banner would return to the United States and appear at Corvo Academy in Indiana, seeking help from General Ross's daughter, Elizabeth Betty Ross.
It wouldn't be long before he saw that guy again; he needed to grow stronger!
Entering the Villain Reputation Store, he saw the latest updates: Luke Cage's super soldier serum and Wolverine's healing ability. Without hesitation, he chose to redeem them.
The two abilities instantly took effect within his body, and his injuries began to heal at an astonishing rate.
His strength, physique, and speed all increased significantly.
Tearing off the bandages from his body, Shasha clenched his fists. This time, he would definitely defeat that guy!
The next day, Shasha boarded the plane back to America with Nick. He appeared before everyone in perfect condition, naturally drawing attention—after all, just yesterday he had looked like he was on the brink of death.
"It seems you have recovered quite well," Nick said, casting a meaningful glance at Shasha.
Rogers, though surprised, did not ask any questions, but his curiosity was definitely piqued.
Shasha offered no explanation, merely smiling and shrugging; some things were better left unsaid.
The trio traveled in silence until they reached New York. Nick and Rogers returned to the S.H.I.E.L.D. office in New York, while Shasha purchased a ticket to Indiana, not wanting to miss the opportunity for a second meeting.
Just as he was leaving New York, Nick and Rogers were discussing Shasha back at S.H.I.E.L.D.
"Who can heal from such severe injuries in just one day? I know you can do it because you have the Super Soldier Serum, but he doesn’t," Nick said, puzzled.
Rogers shook his head with a wry smile. "That guy seems to have a lot of secrets."
He recalled the vibration he felt; it didn’t come from Banner but from Shasha. However, he chose not to share this with Nick.
In the past, Shasha's understanding of power seemed rather superficial. He only knew how to consolidate his strength but had never thought about developing it. In his previous life, whether in comics or among pirate fans, there had been discussions about the development and awakening of abilities.
Deeply exploring Fruit Abilities to unleash their maximum potential was something anyone could do with basic application. What Shasha lacked now was direction—a way to develop his Quake Fruit. Gazing out at the scenery, he fell into deep thought.
Many had debated whether Whitebeard's Fruit Ability had awakened; over eighty percent believed it was in an unawakened state or awakened but unused.
Whitebeard's demonstrated abilities included splitting the earth, causing tsunamis, and vibrating the atmosphere.
It seemed that no object could escape the effects of the Quake Fruit. But what about space? What about the minuscule molecules down to atoms? How did it affect illusion or reality?
The entire world and even the universe were not static; objects were always in motion, and things were constantly in operation. Thus, vibrations could be triggered at any moment.
But what if things were not in motion? Or if there were movements invisible to the naked eye? Things that existed in dimensions beyond human imagination.
Could vibration trigger spatial tremors? Dimensional quakes? Could it even cause the entire universe to vibrate?
What would happen if such vibrations were applied to an individual or an object?
Taking a cup that was nearby, Shasha slowly closed his eyes. The vibration emanated from his hand, seemingly intangible, yet it did not shatter the cup he held.
In a moment of clarity, it felt as if the entire space around him blurred and vanished; the cup disappeared.
There was no longer any sensation in his hand. Shasha looked at his hands repeatedly, stunned for a moment. It seemed he had developed some incredible ability.
Thus, throughout the journey, Shasha simulated various abilities that the Quake Fruit could produce.
He initiated the vibrations, applied them to himself, and then encountered the unfathomable space. It was as if he had discovered a new world.
At that moment, Shasha suddenly felt that if he were to face Hulk again, he might not be defeated. This journey, which had initially seemed daunting, now appeared much more manageable.
