"Isn't it rare for you to invite me out for a meal? Don't tell me you never ask me out unless you need something from me?" 0

Natasha teased as she settled into her seat. 0

Shasha sighed in response, "You're so busy all the time; even if I wanted to invite you, you probably wouldn't have the time." 0

Natasha shot him a playful glare, fully aware that he was being insincere but unable to counter his words. She decided to change the subject. "I almost forgot to congratulate you on becoming a legendary entrepreneur in America with your acquisition of Hammer Industries." 0

Hearing Natasha mention his recent achievement, Shasha couldn't help but smile slightly. "Thanks." 0

Just when he thought Natasha would continue with more compliments, she shifted gears. "But you should be cautious. We've recently discovered that Justin Hammer seems to have joined an organization before you took over. Those people will definitely reach out to you—either to recruit you or to take action against you." 0

Shasha frowned at her words, surprised to learn that Justin Hammer had joined some so-called organization. He wondered what kind of organization it was. If it were just a business alliance, it wouldn't matter, but if it was something like Hydra... 0

While Shasha was lost in thought, Natasha interrupted him. "I'm telling you this not so you can zone out during our date!" 0

Shasha snapped back to reality, a look of apology crossing his face. "Sorry, but the information you provided is quite valuable." 0

"Oh? It seems you've thought of something?" Natasha propped her chin on her hand, curious. 0

"I don't have any concrete leads yet, but I think I've grasped onto something crucial." Shasha deflected and then got straight to the point of their meeting. "Don't you want to know why I invited you here?" 0

"Oh, go ahead," Natasha replied with a lackluster expression. 0

Shasha felt helpless; he found it difficult to deal with this woman. Ever since that intimate encounter, he felt he had been at a disadvantage in their daily interactions. 0

"Here's the thing: I want to ask for your help in training someone." 0

Shasha shared Anna's situation with Natasha, clearly stating what she needed from Anna. 0

Natasha was not the type to stand on a moral high ground. She did not question Shasha about her treatment of the girl, whether the girl was willing, or why Shasha was being so selfish. 0

This world was like that; if someone else took Anna in, they might not be able to provide what Shasha could offer. In a sense, Anna was lucky. 0

Recalling her own past experiences, Natasha felt that Anna was fortunate enough. 0

She did not immediately agree to Shasha's request. After some consideration, she slowly replied, "Training her is possible, but it would be best if she could spend some time with me at S.H.I.E.L.D. Just so you know, I won't always have time to train her." 0

Shasha thought for a moment and nodded slowly. "I can arrange for her to follow you, but you must guarantee that she won't be held back by S.H.I.E.L.D. I trust you, but I don't trust Nick Fury." 0

"Don't worry, what kind of relationship do we have?" Natasha teased as she glanced at Shasha. 0

Shasha turned her face away, feeling flustered by Natasha's flirtation and cleared her throat. "Let's skip that and talk about something else." 0

"Boring man," Natasha pouted. 0

Shasha never engaged with Natasha's teasing—not because she was afraid to, but because she feared that if she did, she might succumb to temptation and end up in a situation with the Black Widow. 0

Some people were traditional or whatever; no matter how low their morals sank, they would still hold onto their principles. 0

After dinner, Shasha planned to return to the office but suddenly remembered that Wanda Maximoff seemed to be working late. She parked on the side of the street and went to a fast-food restaurant to buy a meal. 0

As night deepened, Wanda had processed about eighty percent of the data. At that moment, she stretched and rubbed her aching temples. Continuous work strained her eyes and mind; it seemed like it was time for a pair of glasses. 0

Just as Wanda was contemplating whether to get contact lenses or framed glasses, footsteps suddenly echoed nearby. She was surprised at who could be out this late when she saw someone she never expected. 0

"Didn't expect you to still be here this late." Shasha raised the takeout bag in her hand and smiled, "I guess you haven't eaten anything either." 0

Wanda Maximoff was taken aback for a moment, but then her fatigue suddenly vanished. The initial awkwardness was gone as she smiled and took the bag from Shasha. "I didn't expect the boss to still be here so late." 0

"Isn't this just me showing concern for my hardworking employee? I brought breakfast to reward my capable assistant." 0

Shasha's teasing made Wanda blush slightly, and she felt a warm happiness as she ate the fast food she usually didn't care for. For the first time, she found fast food to be quite delicious. 0

The key wasn't the taste of the restaurant but rather the person who bought the meal. 0

Occasionally glancing at Shasha, who was focused on her computer in the office, Wanda thought that if every late night was like this, it wouldn't be such a bad thing. But after all, she was just an ordinary person. 0

Thinking of this, Wanda let out a barely noticeable sigh. For the first time, she felt that her abilities brought her some trouble. 0
