The Rascal, also known as Anna Marie, has the ability to read others' memories and powers through contact. While memories can be retained, abilities fade away after a few minutes.
Of course, if she absorbs from someone for an extended period, the duration will extend.
At present, she is just an ordinary girl who has recently awakened and does not yet know how to control her abilities. Fearing that her powers might harm others, she plans to run away from home.
Initially lost in unfamiliar surroundings, she unexpectedly encounters someone who seems to be like her, Logan. Soon after, she meets members of the Brotherhood and the Warriors, and now stands before Shasha.
Looking at Shasha, Anna instinctively recalls how he defeated three people not long ago, causing her expression to shrink back in fear.
Shasha reaches out, and despite Anna's stiff attempt to evade him, he places a hand on her face. In that moment, she becomes dazed.
For a brief instant, her thoughts scatter as she hears him say, "Such a cute girl, are you troubled by your abilities?"
Yes, she has been troubled ever since her awakening. But why can he touch her without any hesitation? How is he able to do this?
This is the first time Anna feels what it's like to be touched like an ordinary person.
"Can you take me away?" Anna pleads as she looks at Shasha.
Releasing his hand despite her reluctant gaze, Shasha replies calmly, "If you come with me, you'll face a lot of hardships."
Anna bites her lip and shakes her head. "I don't care."
"Then come with me!" Shasha takes Anna's hand and they slowly leave the tranquil snowy expanse.
Later, Aurora and Scott awaken first. They had thought Logan would be taken away, but to their surprise, he lies quietly on the ground. This leaves them puzzled about Shasha's intentions; however, they know he is not one of Magneto's people.
Confused about bringing Logan back to New York, they can only ask Professor Xavier for his thoughts on the matter.
In truth, they have no idea that Magneto's interest does not lie with Logan but rather with Anna standing beside Shasha.
Originally, Shasha had no intention of bringing Anna back; however, he could not refuse the girl's plea and felt a stirring in his heart.
Shasha had always lacked an excellent intelligence agent who could gather useful information for him.
He had searched for this candidate for a long time, and Anna's appearance made his idea a reality.
What could be better than having the ability to read memories just by touching someone?
As for absorbing others' abilities, Shasha didn't place much importance on that; at most, it was just a means of self-defense during battles.
Regarding how to train her, Shasha planned to find a professional, and that person was already in his contacts.
"Hmm? I didn't expect you to actually call me."
Hearing that still alluring voice, Shasha cleared his throat. "Natasha, I need your help with something."
"Oh? My fees are quite high, you know. Nick never lets anyone go easily." Natasha teased. "Unless you're willing to offer yourself in return?"
"Aside from that, everything else is negotiable." Shasha coughed repeatedly to mask his embarrassment.
"You really are no fun." Natasha sighed. "So, what do you need me for?"
"Let's discuss it in person. Tonight at Lino Rose Restaurant, 7 PM sharp."
As time passed while he dealt with official business, Shasha couldn't help but admire Wanda Maximoff's strong learning ability. In less than a week, she had managed to handle the company's affairs with remarkable efficiency. He had once envied Tony for having such a good assistant; now he no longer felt that way.
With her new job, Wanda Maximoff was thriving. Not only had she received generous compensation, but she could also settle in New York and resolve her brother's academic issues. She was genuinely grateful to Shasha, which made her work exceptionally diligent.
"Wanda Maximoff, come in for a moment."
Upon hearing Shasha's call, Wanda put down her work and entered the office. "Sir, what can I do for you?"
"We have several collaborative projects with Stark Industries coming up. Please liaise with their assistant to discuss the details of our cooperation. Here’s her contact information." Shasha handed Wanda Pepper's business card.
He had completely transformed into a hands-off manager, much like Tony, who was also neglecting his duties.
That guy built his own battle suit, determined to fulfill his dream of becoming a hero. As for her, she walked the line between good and evil.
When it came to Shasha's requests, Wanda Maximoff naturally put in her utmost effort. By the time she organized the documents, it was nearly the end of the workday, but there were still many tasks to handle, leading her to work overtime without a hint of complaint.
