In the dark of night, the Desert Prison lay silent, with all the inmates in their cells fast asleep. 0

At the prison gate, a figure cloaked in black appeared. The moment the searchlight illuminated this person, it abruptly stopped. 0

The gate opened, and the Warden approached with a respectful expression, saying, "My lord." 0

The black cloak shifted slightly, revealing a faint yet indistinct female voice, "Where is what I requested?" 0

"It's all been prepared," the Warden said with a sycophantic smile, then turned to beckon his subordinates behind him. 0

One by one, long boxes resembling coffins were brought out. The cloaked figure glanced at them and nodded, "The quantity is just right." 0

Moments later, three trucks carrying large containers stopped in front of the prison, and the long boxes were loaded into the containers. 0

Once the boxes were moved, the Warden rubbed his hands together, looking hesitant. 0

Seeing this, the cloaked figure paused and said, "Don't worry; the money will be transferred to your account by tomorrow morning." 0

The Warden sighed in relief but was about to turn away when he suddenly remembered something. "By the way, my lord, what do you plan to do about that person you sent back last time?" 0

The cloaked figure lowered her head in thought and replied coolly, "Find an opportunity to deal with him; it’s better not to raise suspicion." 0

With that, she climbed into one of the trucks, which roared to life and slowly drove away. 0

After the cloaked figure left, the Warden squinted his eyes as if deep in thought. After a moment, he beckoned one of his subordinates over and whispered, "Take care of Frank Castle tonight." 0

Nodding silently, the subordinate turned and left without a word. 0

Inside his cell, Shasha had actually never fallen asleep. He listened intently to the distant rumble of trucks, easily recognizing it as their sound. Many might not find it strange; perhaps they were delivering food or some daily necessities. 0

However, Tock had mentioned that regular supplies and food were usually delivered around mid-month, yet now it was only the beginning of the month. 0

Just as Shasha began to feel puzzled, footsteps approached, prompting him to feign sleep. He slightly cracked open his eyes and saw two guards quietly passing by his cell before stopping next door. Moments later, he heard the sound of a door opening. 0

That was Frank's room. What could they possibly want at this hour? 0

With curiosity piqued, Shasha perked up his ears to listen to the commotion next door. Soon enough, his expression changed dramatically. 0

"Move quickly, don't waste time, BSS is waiting for us." 0

"Is it really necessary to kill this guy?" 0

"This is BSS's order; as subordinates, we just need to execute it." 0

Immediately, the sound of ropes tightening against flesh echoed, causing Shasha to lose his composure. 0

He suddenly stood up and punched the wall with all his might. A crack appeared with a loud bang, startling all the sleeping inmates. But Shasha didn't stop; he struck the steel wall again. 0

In the next moment, the steel barrier separating him from Frank shattered, leaving two guards dumbfounded at the scene. 0

With one punch each, he took down the guards and carefully checked on Frank. He found him still expressionless, breathing steadily, with only the marks on his neck indicating any trouble. 0

After some thought, Shasha decided to take him out. Frank must know something; otherwise, he wouldn't have been targeted for silencing. 0

The prison door felt as flimsy as paper to Shasha. As he stepped out of the cell, many inmates shouted for him to save them too, but he ignored them completely. 0

Until a familiar voice rang out, "BSS, take me with you!" 0

Shasha paused and looked at Tock's pleading expression. After a moment's consideration, he single-handedly tore apart the iron door that confined Tock. 0

Overjoyed, Tock followed closely behind Shasha, dreaming of the freedom that awaited them outside. 0

Shasha's actions inevitably drew the attention of the guards. Soon, alarms blared throughout Desert Prison as armed guards took positions at various checkpoints. The Warden was furious at the prospect of a breakout. 0

"Kill him on the spot! No mercy!!" 0

However, the Warden's plans were destined to fail. He believed that their numbers and weapons would be enough to take down Shasha, not realizing that Shasha was no ordinary person. 0

In Tock's eyes, he thought that even if his BSS was strong, it would be impossible for him to escape alone—especially while carrying a burden. When those heavily armed guards aimed their weapons at them, he felt a wave of despair and silently cursed Shasha for not freeing the other inmates; perhaps they could have all escaped together. 0

But in the next moment, he realized he was wrong. As bullets whizzed through the air and shattered around them, he looked at Shasha as if he were a deity. Following closely behind Shasha as they left Desert Prison left him in a daze; he couldn't believe how easily they had made it out. 0

Inside the prison, the Warden turned pale in disbelief as all his guards lay unconscious. The bizarre scene felt like a nightmare. 0

Then came the sudden opening of various cells. From the surveillance feed, he saw Lao Xiao grinning mischievously at the camera. 0

As Lao Xiao trembled and stepped into the Warden's office, he nervously glanced at the elderly man on the verge of death and swallowed hard. "What do you want?" 0

Lao Xiao replied calmly, "Relax, I won't do anything to you. After all, you are one of Selene's people." 0

The mention of that name made the Warden's pupils constrict. "How do you know?" 0

"I also know that you provide live bodies from the prison for her to extract souls and make money," Lao Xiao said with a sinister smile. "If you don't want her to find out that you've messed things up, just pretend nothing happened." 0

The Warden forced a bitter smile. Did he really have a choice? If he didn't comply, he would either have his head blown off by the old man before him or be delivered to Selene as her sacrifice. 0

"You are a smart man; you know how to choose. From now on, I will specify the live bodies you send," Lao Xiao said before tremblingly leaving the room. 0

The Warden slumped in his chair, knowing that he would now live in a nightmare forever. 0
