Shasha was in a state akin to being possessed by the power of his training, suddenly gaining immense strength without the mental control to manage it. His eyes were a deep crimson, and he had lost consciousness for the moment.
Erika was approaching Shasha, but the power of the Quake Fruit prevented her from getting close, filling her with anxiety.
“Don’t get near him; he’s dangerous right now. If you approach, he’ll see us as enemies,” Stick Sage stopped Erika, his expression grave. This situation was proving to be quite troublesome even for him.
Daredevil remained silent, fully aware of the destructive potential of mutants, having witnessed it firsthand before.
Despite Stick Sage's warning, Erika paid no heed. She was determined to find a way to reach Shasha. Soon enough, she spotted an opening and rushed toward him while Stick Sage was still reacting.
“Samal! It’s me, can you hear me?”
In his uncontrolled state, Shasha ignored her call. Seeing Erika approach, he raised his fist and struck out violently.
Faced with the impact, Erika halted, a bitter feeling rising within her; she couldn’t awaken Shasha.
This punch would have been fatal if it connected with the defenseless Erika.
However, Daredevil intervened, delivering a punch that surpassed human limits to counter the force of Vibration.
He grabbed Erika and flew backward just as Stick Sage seized the opportunity to strike Shasha on the head with his staff.
Yet, it seemed like Shasha had eyes in the back of his head; he dodged and sent Stick Sage staggering back with a powerful palm strike.
At this moment, Erika had already lost consciousness. Daredevil looked grim; he had never encountered such a challenging opponent since his debut. He wanted to act but couldn’t afford to do so because the ninjas from the Hand-to-Hand Meeting had noticed them and were splitting off to attack. Realizing the situation was dire, he took Erika and Stick Sage away from there.
Unaware of all this, Shasha continued to unleash his murderous intent on the ninjas from the Hand-to-Hand Meeting.
Finally unable to hold back any longer, Magneto descended. With his hands outstretched, he caused the weapons of the ninjas to fly from their grips and stick firmly in place. “Go back and tell your leader that this person belongs to me!”
In the Dark World, Magneto's reputation was truly fearsome, and the Hand-to-Hand Meeting ninjas were certainly aware of it.
One of the leaders bowed deeply to Magneto before leading his subordinates away from the scene.
At that moment, only Shasha and Magneto remained.
Facing the unconscious Shasha, Magneto smirked slightly. "It seems I can only have a proper conversation with you once you regain consciousness."
He extended his right hand and grasped forcefully, as if an invisible force had taken control of Shasha's body.
The human body contains iron, making Magneto's metal manipulation abilities particularly effective against it.
However, the out-of-control Shasha was not one to be easily manipulated. Even though her body was immobilized, her Vibration power was constantly emanating. In an instant, the air around began to shake, causing nearby buildings and the ground to tremble. As this Vibration began to affect Magneto, he couldn't help but frown, thinking to himself that this was troublesome, and he increased his grip.
With this increase in pressure, Shasha slowly began to regain consciousness amidst the pain and suffocation.
After a standoff of power for a while, the Vibration suddenly ceased. Magneto knew that Shasha had fainted.
Releasing his ability with one hand, Shasha slowly fell to the ground. Seeing this, Magneto felt a headache coming on; he had intended to wait for her to calm down before talking, but he hadn't expected to exert too much force.
With no other choice, Magneto prepared to take Shasha back to his base. However, just as he was about to step forward, he suddenly halted. This made him turn his head sharply and gaze deeply into the shadows. "Old friend, since you've come, why reveal yourself now?"
Without any footsteps, what first caught Magneto's eye were legs resting on a wheelchair. Following that was a bald elder dressed in a suit, his eyes gleaming with wisdom—indeed, it was Professor Charles.
"If it weren't for Scott and the others sending word, I wouldn't have known you were here as well."
Magneto couldn't help but sneer at this. "The ability to sense our kind is not something only you can do."
Charles's wheelchair came to a stop in front of Shasha as he looked down at her calm face and sighed softly. "Eric, I cannot let this young man fall into your hands. His power is too terrifying; only with proper guidance can we prevent him from causing irreparable disasters in the future."
"Oh? So you mean to say that I can't make him do that?" Magneto sneered, "You're still the same, stubbornly believing that our powers should be restrained, that we need human acknowledgment of our existence. But can humans really accept us? Just look at everything mutants are suffering right now; even before the mutant issue surfaces, those guys are already eager to eliminate us. Once the issue comes to light, we will become the enemies of all humanity! Because humans can never accept beings that are different from themselves; they fear our power, and so they will do everything in their power to reject us!"
"You're right," Charles slowly raised his head, a deep gaze flashing with a hint of disappointment before it turned resolute once more. "But there is always a more prudent solution. It's undeniable that humans will fear us. However, if they come to understand that we won't harm them but rather protect them, then our existence will be acknowledged!"
"You always think you're right," Magneto chuckled bitterly, his expression returning to one of indifference. "I must take this child away today. If you can stop me, then try."
The atmosphere suddenly chilled as two forces stood in silent confrontation. In the next moment, Magneto unexpectedly took a step back, as if pushed away by an invisible force. He looked deeply at Charles before turning away in silence.
After a while, Charles took a deep breath; his face was extremely pale, as if his mental energy had been drained. After another moment, he couldn't help but smile wryly. "I'm afraid that soon I won't be able to suppress him any longer."
In the next instant, he lowered his head; his eyes flickered as if his consciousness had entered Shasha's body to control her movements.
In an unconscious state, Shasha pushed Charles's wheelchair slowly out of sight, leaving behind a street and buildings in utter disarray from Vibration's destruction.
