"Arrogant to the extreme." The Eastern Deity roared, and the black aura surrounding it spread like ink dropped into water, forming hundreds of black dragons in the air.
"My divine power can capture the Azure Dragon; let’s see how you break it." The Eastern Deity sneered, retreating swiftly while the hundreds of black dragons surged toward Jiang Chen.
This Black Aura Dragon was the culmination of its thousand years of Sha Qi, each one infused with immense ghostly power. A mere touch of this Sha Qi would cause ordinary people’s skin to rot and flesh to decay.
One Black Aura Dragon stretched several hundred meters long, and with hundreds of them attacking, the scene was overwhelming. Jiang Chen stood firm with his sword, quietly observing as the Black Aura Dragons layered upon one another, encircling him in a massive black spindle.
"Kid, you think you can oppose me? You’re still too green." The Eastern Deity cackled coldly, confident in its divine power. This thousand-year-old Sha Qi was filled with resentment; even martial arts experts would be gravely injured or killed by just a touch.
Du Guanghua and the others watched as hundreds of strands of Sha Qi surrounded Jiang Chen, their faces pale as paper. Even Tengye Kikuko couldn't help but worry for Jiang Chen; the Eastern Deity's strength was too formidable.
Visitors at the peak of Mount Buddha were shocked to see the enormous black aura in the valley. They were ordinary people who knew of the Eastern Deity's existence but had never witnessed its power firsthand; this was an eye-opening experience for them.
"This kid is doomed. How could a mortal provoke the Eastern Deity? How can a mere human stand against a Demon God?" one visitor lamented, just as he was about to lower his binoculars when suddenly a blinding light flashed before him.
The spindle formed by the hundreds of Black Aura Dragons was cut open by a beam of light, and a figure flew through the gap. As the visitors focused their gaze, they realized it was Jiang Chen, unharmed and hovering in mid-air.
"Eastern Deity, your strength truly disappoints me," Jiang Chen grinned, then began to wield his Sky Sword in mid-air. The tip of the Sky Sword moved like a brush, using sword energy as ink and air as paper to write an ancient character.
The character was unrecognizable to anyone present; it was "Zhu," a word from the Xiu Xian World.
After finishing the character, Jiang Chen pointed his sword at the Eastern Deity. The "Zhu" character flew toward it; originally just a meter wide, it expanded to a hundred meters wide as it approached, descending like a divine decree from above, exuding immense pressure.
The Eastern Deity did not dodge; it wanted to save face. How could it allow itself to be overshadowed by Jiang Chen's strike? However, it clearly underestimated the power behind Jiang Chen's attack.
An overwhelming pressure descended as this strange character seemed like a sacred mantra from Buddha. The Eastern Deity roared in anger, its fury ignited as it transformed into black mist to meet Jiang Chen's blow.
With a thunderous boom, the character suppressed the black mist and crashed into the ground, creating a massive pit.
Seeing this scene, the visitors thought Jiang Chen had defeated the Eastern Deity. But as the dust settled, an eerie laughter echoed from within the ruins.
"Haha, I didn't expect there would actually be someone in this world who could fight me." At that moment, instead of being angry, the Eastern Deity laughed. It had to reassess Jiang Chen; his strength far exceeded its expectations.
Suddenly, the Eastern Deity's form surged from the ground; no longer just a cloaked figure but now a monstrous creature with a hideous face and sharp fangs. Its body continued to grow until it reached a height of one hundred meters.
