Li Ming and Chen Yao's assault rained down on Xiao Li like a tempest, their movements swift as the wind, unleashing wave after wave of relentless attacks. Xiao Li found himself completely deprived of any chance to counterattack, forced to retreat under the onslaught of Li Ming and Chen Yao, his body gradually wearing away.
"Bang!" Li Ming's blade shimmered with Thunder Power as it struck toward Xiao Li's chest, leaving a deep gash. Xiao Li groaned in pain, his body trembling violently, yet he refused to back down, wildly swinging his arms in a desperate attempt to retaliate.
"Ah—!" Xiao Li let out a piercing scream, his eyes flashing with madness and despair. Chen Yao's wind blades sliced through his body like sharp swords, tearing away large chunks of flesh. Xiao Li's form became increasingly bloodied and mangled, the black flames surrounding him dimming to a dull glow.
Li Ming and Chen Yao showed no mercy as they launched their next wave of attacks. Their movements were rapid and precise, leaving Xiao Li no opportunity to catch his breath. The clash of blades and wind blades intertwined with devastating force, aimed directly at Xiao Li's vital points.
"You damned ants!" Xiao Li screamed in madness, trying to break free from Li Ming and Chen Yao's relentless assault, but his strength had waned significantly; his body was crumbling under the fierce attacks.
Li Ming's blade came down again, striking hard against Xiao Li's left arm. The arm was severed, blood spraying forth as Xiao Li howled in agony, his body shaking uncontrollably. Chen Yao's wind blade followed closely behind, slicing off Xiao Li's right arm as well.
Xiao Li collapsed helplessly to the ground, his arms now severed. A flicker of terror and despair crossed his eyes. "No, it can't be..." he moaned in pain, his body convulsing amidst the black flames.
Li Ming and Chen Yao did not relent; they swiftly prepared for their final strike. Li Ming's blade glimmered with Thunder Power as it swung toward Xiao Li's legs. With a decisive blow, both legs were severed, leaving him powerless on the ground, unable to move.
"This is your end," Li Ming said coldly, gripping the hilt of his blade tightly, a glint of icy light flashing in his eyes.
Xiao Li's body twitched weakly as despair and fear flickered in his gaze. All four limbs had been severed; the black flames around him had extinguished completely. He appeared like a broken puppet.
Xiao Li had lost all traces of his former arrogance and superiority. His body lay on the ground without limbs, writhing in pain. Tears streamed down the face that once radiated terror and intimidation after its mutation. His eyes reflected despair and fear as he cried out in anguish, filled with pleading and hopelessness.
"Please, spare me..." Xiao Li's voice trembled with pain and desperation. "I will never harm you again; I beg you, let me go..."
Li Ming looked coldly at Xiao Li, a glimmer of icy light in his eyes. His grip on the hilt tightened; there was no trace of compassion within him. "Xiao Li, is this when you finally learn fear?" Li Ming’s voice dripped with sarcasm and cruelty. "Your pitiful pleas cannot change your fate."
A flicker of despair and terror crossed Xiao Li’s eyes as his body trembled in agony; the black flames had completely extinguished, leaving him looking like a shattered puppet.
"I'm... I really know I've done wrong, please, spare me..." Xiao Li cried out in agony, his voice filled with immense fear and pleading.
A cold glint flashed in Li Ming's eyes as he replied icily, "Do you think this will make us let you go? All the evil you've done, this is what you deserve."
Chen Yao held her dagger firmly, glaring coldly at Xiao Li. There was no trace of pity in her eyes, only determination and resolve. "Xiao Li, your fate has long been sealed; this is the punishment you deserve." Her voice was harsh and unyielding, filled with finality.
Despair and terror flickered in Xiao Li's eyes as he writhed in pain, collapsing helplessly to the ground, his body trembling in agony. Tears streamed down his face, filled with desperate pleading and fear.
Li Ming looked at Xiao Li coldly, feeling no sympathy. He knew this was the punishment Xiao Li had brought upon himself; no amount of pleading could change this outcome.
"This ending is entirely of your own making," Li Ming said coldly, a glimmer of icy light flashing in his eyes.
Upon hearing the words from Li Ming and Chen Yao, Xiao Li's pained wails abruptly ceased. The tears in his eyes vanished like crocodile tears. In their place surged extreme anger and hatred; his face contorted as a sinister smile crept onto his lips, and he began to curse Li Ming and Chen Yao vehemently.
"Hahaha, you two damned bastards!" Xiao Li's voice dripped with vulgarity and malice, filled with venomous hatred. "Do you think this will lead to your victory? I curse you both to die a miserable death!"
His voice grew sharper, laced with endless resentment. "Li Ming, you worthless piece of trash; you'll always be a failure! Chen Yao, you filthy whore, I curse you to never find a good man for the rest of your life; may you die a horrible death!"
Li Ming and Chen Yao exchanged glances, a cold light flashing in their eyes. They understood that Xiao Li's curses were merely his last desperate struggle; no matter what he said, it would not alter his destined end.
"Your words will only make your death more painful," Li Ming said coldly, gripping the hilt of his weapon tightly as a cruel light flickered in his eyes.
"Yes, this is the punishment you deserve," Chen Yao added, her dagger gleaming coldly as she stared at Xiao Li without an ounce of compassion.
Xiao Li's face twisted with extreme anger and hatred; madness sparkled in his eyes. "You damned bastards! I curse you to die a miserable death! You will suffer worse than I do!"
Li Ming and Chen Yao said nothing more, their hands tightly gripping their weapons as they prepared to deliver the final blow to Xiao Li. They knew this was something they had to do; no matter how difficult or what kind of enemy they faced, they would not shy away from any challenge and would fight to protect this world until the very end.
"Goodbye, Xiao Li."
Li Ming and Chen Yao exchanged a glance, a silent understanding passing between them. They knew this was the final moment; they had to execute Xiao Li together in one swift motion to end the battle. Li Ming gripped the hilt of his knife tightly, while Chen Yao's dagger glinted coldly in the light. The two moved quickly, their blades intertwining as they aimed for Xiao Li's neck.
A flicker of terror flashed in Xiao Li's eyes, quickly overshadowed by intense anger and hatred. A twisted smile crept onto his lips as he prepared to utter another curse, but no sound escaped him.
"Die!" Li Ming whispered, a cold glint in his eyes. With their combined force, they swiftly severed Xiao Li's head from his body. Blood sprayed as his lifeless form crumpled to the ground, life extinguished in an instant.
At that moment, a deep and furious voice echoed from the sky, reminiscent of Qin Tian's roar, filled with boundless rage and hatred. Li Ming and Chen Yao understood that Qin Tian had sensed the deaths of Xiao Li and Xiao Wang; their actions had provoked this formidable enemy.
Li Ming took a deep breath, tightening his grip on the knife before approaching Xiao Wang's corpse to sever his head as well. He raised both heads—Xiao Li's and Xiao Wang's—high above, displaying them to the Demon Soldiers on the battlefield.
"Look closely!" Li Ming shouted, his voice resonating across the battlefield. "Your leaders are dead!"
The Demon Soldiers stared in horror at the scene before them, fear and unease flickering in their eyes. Their leaders, Xiao Li and Xiao Wang, had been utterly defeated by Li Ming and Chen Yao's combined assault, shaking their morale to its core.
"We will protect this world! No matter what enemies we face, we will not back down!" Li Ming declared loudly, determination shining in his eyes. He knew this would be a long and arduous fight, but they must face any challenge head-on to safeguard their world.
Chen Yao stood beside Li Ming, gripping her dagger with equal resolve and determination in her gaze. "No matter how many enemies lie ahead, we will confront them until the very last moment!"
The Demon Soldiers were intimidated by the fierce presence of Li Ming and Chen Yao, gradually retreating. With their leaders dead and morale shattered, they felt overwhelming fear and uncertainty.
