The appearance of Beidu Liufeng instantly changed the atmosphere, making it tense. The reason was simple: most of the factions present had caused some embarrassment to the Beidu Family at one point or another. These people had thought that the Beidu Clan had fallen into decline, only to discover that they still possessed such a formidable weapon.
Everyone felt a sense of unease. Of course, the happiest among them was North Crossing Xiqin; if Beidu Liufeng hadn't shown up, he would have been in serious trouble.
Zuo Dao watched a certain direction with a wary gaze. At that moment, Beidu Liufeng also noticed Zuo Dao's actions, surprised that the other party could detect his presence.
Since he had already been discovered, Beidu Liufeng saw no reason to hide any longer and stepped out from the void.
He appeared as an ordinary old man, somewhat thin and slightly hunched over, leaning on a slender stick made of an indiscernible material. His eyes opened and closed in a state of confusion, and no one would have guessed that such an elderly figure was a Great Power.

"You are impressive; which lineage do you belong to?" Beidu Liufeng asked as he looked at Northern Crossing Qing. If Northern Crossing Qing had not caught his attention before, he was now firmly etched in Beidu Liufeng's mind.
"I am from the Branch of Northern Crossing Yan Hong." In front of the old man, Northern Crossing Qing restrained his demeanor and replied respectfully.
"Yan Hong? I remember he was from Flowing Cloud's lineage. I didn't expect someone from that branch to emerge!" As soon as Beidu Liufeng's words fell, the expressions on the faces of those from the Direct Lineage were quite remarkable, especially North Crossing Xiqin, who never imagined that Northern Crossing Qing would attract the Elder's attention; this could lead to significant trouble.
Beidu Liufeng merely cast a brief glance at North Crossing Xiqin. 'My sect is nameless; even if it were known, the old gentleman would not recognize it.' Zuo Dao maintained a smile on his face. Since Beidu Liufeng's arrival, he had been quite courteous towards Zuo Dao, who felt no need to put on airs. He believed in treating others with respect—if someone respected him by an inch, he would return that respect by a mile."
"Friend, how can you be so sure that I don't know?" Beidu Liufeng squinted his eyes at Zuo Dao, a benevolent smile on his face.
"Mount Hua Ziwang Peak." Zuo Dao had nothing to hide; seeing the old man's eagerness to learn about his sect, how could he not satisfy him?
"Mount Hua Ziwang Peak?" Indeed, upon hearing Zuo Dao's words, Beidu Liufeng's mind began to whirl, even though he did not show it on his face. However, no matter how hard he tried to think, he could not recall any sect by that name.
The cultivation world was vast and expansive. There were countless sects and families, and even the largest ones in the Great Star Domain could not know how many sects existed in the world, let alone the isolated Northern Crossing Star.
"I must admit, I have never heard of your esteemed sect. It does not seem to exist among the ancient powers that have been passed down," Beidu Liufeng generously acknowledged his ignorance. It wasn't just ignorance; he truly did not know.
"That's quite normal; there's no need for you to worry about it, old sir," Zuo Dao replied with a carefree smile. "Well then, I've troubled you for long enough. I should take my leave; my wife is waiting for me at home with soup."
Without waiting for Beidu Liufeng's response, he turned and walked away without hesitation.
"Wait a moment, friend! Since you've come to my Northern Crossing Star, allow me to extend my hospitality and show you some ancient wonders," Beidu Liufeng certainly would not let Zuo Dao leave so easily.
Just as Zuo Dao turned to leave, a large hand reached out toward him. Although Beidu Liufeng spoke of hospitality, his actions clearly indicated an attempt to capture him.
Zuo Dao had long anticipated the old man's ill intentions. With a swift movement of his feet and no sign of hesitation, he dodged the attack.
"You are indeed extraordinary! However, since I have invited you, I cannot let you leave so easily!" With a tap of his staff, it struck the air as if hitting something solid, producing a sound like a "thud." A wave of energy spread out like ripples in water, enveloping Zuo Dao as if he were prey caught in a spider's web.
There was no need to discuss Beidu Liufeng's realm; just this single move would leave countless cultivators feeling overshadowed. More importantly, every one of Beidu Liufeng's attacks came without warning and showed no signs of spiritual energy fluctuations.

During a previous communication with the Planetary Will, Zuo Dao had sensed some fluctuations—a trace of pure immortal energy, likely left behind by the Northern Crossing Immortal. However, this energy seemed to suppress the growth of this planet or stifle the advancement of its Cultivators.
If individuals like Beidu Liufeng cannot leave Northern Crossing Star, then their highest achievement would be limited to the Life and Death Realm. Ascending to immortality would be nothing more than a distant dream.
Beidu Liufeng did not expect Zuo Dao to dare distract him even under his attack. Coupled with Zuo Dao's final intention to leave, it ignited a fierce determination within him.
Capturing this person and forcing him to reveal the method of departure was essential. If that failed, the Northern Crossing Family had plenty of ways to obtain what they desired, provided they did not let Zuo Dao escape.
With a force like threads woven into a net, Zuo Dao moved through the space as if walking on air, each step seemingly taken in empty space.

Beidu Liufeng let out a cold snort, frustrated that he had been unable to capture Zuo Dao after two attempts. This not only caused him to lose face but also embarrassed him in front of his juniors and others present.
"Get lost! The Northern Clan is conducting business; all irrelevant parties should retreat immediately."
The numerous Cultivators were already trembling under Beidu Liufeng's invisible pressure. Upon hearing his command, they exerted all their strength and quickly withdrew, eager to report this information back to their factions before they found themselves in danger without knowing how it happened.
In just a few breaths, half the crowd had dispersed. Only members of the Beidu Clan remained to observe.
