Back in the Cave, Zuo Dao gazed at the tattoo in his palm, deep in thought.

Zuo Dao thought firmly as he faced the first rays of sunlight.
News of Zuo Dao's departure from Reflection Cliff gradually spread throughout Mount Hua Immortal Gate, creating a stir.

The most distinguished disciple of Mount Hua Immortal Gate and the controversial next leader of Zuo Wang Peak,
the top disciple in the entire Immortal Sect at Qi Refinement Stage.
He was the first person in a thousand years to safely emerge from Reflection Cliff within four years.
Joy for some, sorrow for others.
When the news spread, chaos erupted on Ling Peak, one of the five peaks of Mount Hua Immortal Gate. The disciples within the peak were abuzz with discussion.
"Is that even possible? That's just outrageous! It's Reflection Cliff we're talking about!" one disciple exclaimed.
"I knew it would turn out like this!" another shouted.
"Wang Hu, do you know what happened? I remember when he was punished at Reflection Cliff; it was a death sentence for sure!"
"Zhao Ziyi, don't spread rumors. When did I ever pass by?" Wang Hu quickly replied. "If there's no evidence, I could sue you for defamation."
This was something he could never admit to. If that lord heard about it, he wouldn't even know how he died. After all, this was someone who dared to kill even the son of the Peak Master!
Wang Hu wiped away nonexistent sweat from his forehead. "I can never admit to that."
As the disciples continued their chatter, a tall young man with a simple face approached, causing everyone to immediately cease their conversations and step forward to pay their respects.
"Senior Brother."
"The Senior Brother has arrived."
"Greetings, Senior Brother!"
The newcomer merely nodded slightly and said nothing, walking past the crowd without stopping.
Tian Yuan had been having a very difficult time in recent years. The only son of their master had been killed during a duel with Zuo Dao, and as the top disciple of Ling Peak, he had naturally been cast into obscurity for that reason.
Tian Yuan felt quite helpless about the situation. That competition had nothing to do with him, but he happened to pass by. Later, he learned that the incident was entirely his side's fault; his master's son had actually gone to tease Yan Hong of Zuo Wang Peak and ended up getting beaten back. Not content with that, he provoked them again, which led to Zuo Dao angrily challenging him on the Life-and-Death Platform.
Although Zuo Wang Peak had fallen from grace, it was still one of the Five Peaks of Mount Hua Immortal Gate. Moreover, Zuo Dao was the top disciple of the Immortal Sect's Qi Training division. Even with the peak-level skills of his master's only son and the treasures bestowed by his master, they still faced defeat.
After Zuo Dao entered Reflection Cliff, his master had no place to vent his anger and could only direct it at this unfortunate soul. Just as Tian Yuan received news of Zuo Dao stepping out from the cliff, he was summoned by his master. With a long sigh in his heart, he walked into his master's cave.
After a long while, he emerged with a strange expression on his face.

Moling Star was one of the five major second-tier sects, alongside four others:
Original Sect.
Falling Star Valley.
Demon Sect.
Ghost Shadow Sect.
Among these, three were righteous and two were evil, often clashing with each other. However, while minor disputes were common, nothing significant ever occurred.
Mount Hua Immortal Gate was divided into Nine Peaks, which included a hall and a palace.
The hall and palace were: Law Enforcement Hall and Gathering of Immortals Hall.
As the name suggests, Law Enforcement Hall was responsible for punishments. On the other hand, Gathering of Immortals Hall served as the residence for the Immortal Sect's Sect Leader and was where all major decisions within the sect would be made.
The Nine Peaks consist of Dragon Horn Peak, Ling Peak, Dominant Sword Peak, Flowing Cloud Peak, Dry Bamboo Peak, Great Compassion Peak, Purple Gold Peak, Martial Refinement Peak, and Zuo Wang Peak.
The Nine Peaks form a configuration resembling nine stars surrounding a hall and a palace, protected by the Great Formation: Extreme Annihilation Magnetic Light Five Thunder Formation.
The Immortal Sect's Sect Leader, Jiang Chuan, is a mid-stage Nascent Soul Cultivator. Each Peak Master is at the Golden Core True Person level. There are over ten thousand disciples at the Foundation Establishment and Qi Training stages, along with servants, bringing the total number of people at Mount Hua Immortal Gate to nearly one hundred thousand.
Zuo Wang Peak ranks the lowest among all the Immortal Sect peaks, yet it receives the same allocation of cultivation resources as the others. This has led to significant discontent among some of the other peaks.
Zuo Wang Peak is quite similar to Zuo Wang Peak in Moling; with only a few cats around, even including servants, there are barely a hundred people. However, it receives resources comparable to peaks that boast thousands of disciples and tens of thousands of servants. It’s no wonder that some Peak Masters feel imbalanced about this situation.
Ling Peak's Peak Master, Cui Yongshang, is the main figure advocating for the abolition of Zuo Wang Peak. He has employed countless methods in secret over nearly one hundred years but has achieved nothing due to the veto from the Gathering of Immortals Hall and the talent pool at Zuo Wang Peak. Even if disciples from Zuo Wang Peak die or disappear, they can recruit outstanding talents in no time.
On the Life-and-Death Platform, Cui Yongshang's only son was killed by Zuo Dao. He had intended to use this incident to undermine Zuo Wang Peak but was surprised when the Sect Leader punished Zuo Dao by sending him to Reflection Cliff.
The most terrifying aspect of the Sect since its establishment is not the Law Enforcement Hall but Reflection Cliff. Although it is named for reflection and repentance, it serves as a place for punishing irredeemable individuals within the Immortal Sect. Over millennia, countless demons and wicked people have been suppressed and imprisoned there, with no reports of anyone escaping.
Moreover, there is a rule in the Immortal Sect: any disciple punished by being sent to Reflection Cliff who manages to walk out will be absolved of all crimes.
Now that his son is dead and he gained nothing from it while the killer remains alive, Cui Yongshang feels deeply wounded. He has also contacted several other peak leaders to test their opinions but found nothing unexpected.
Dragon Horn Peak has not expressed any opinion; Dry Bamboo, Flowing Cloud, and Martial Refinement Peaks remain neutral. Great Compassion Peak sits on the fence. Only Dominant Sword and Purple Gold Peaks stand with him but not unconditionally; they demand that Zuo Wang Peak must yield sixty percent of its resources.
After the gathering of peak leaders dispersed, Cui Yongshang sat alone in his cave deep in thought.
All overt methods have failed to achieve his desired outcome; however, covert methods cannot be employed within the sect due to the presence of a Nascent Soul Cultivator above him.
Abolishing Zuo Wang Peak's existence is actually quite simple—cut off its inheritance. If all Cultivators from a peak were to perish, there would be no reason for its existence. However, over the past one hundred years, he has expended vast amounts of spirit stones. He had indeed come close to exterminating all disciples at Zuo Wang Peak but unexpectedly encountered even more formidable opponents.
He had once suspected that Zuo Wang Peak held some secrets, but over the years, he had not uncovered any news. The number of disciples at Zuo Wang Peak had also halved. Logically, if there were powerful forces at play, anyone along the way would not allow their disciples to die without reason and remain indifferent.
Although those who practiced cultivation felt little attachment to family, he could not let his own son die in vain. Zuo Wang Peak was destined to disappear, but he wanted to kill Zuo Dao even more. The first reason was revenge for his son, and the second was that with this child's talent, in a few years, he might not even be able to suppress him.
He had initially planned to take his time, but Zuo Dao stepping out from Reflection Cliff completely disrupted his plans, forcing him to resort to more radical measures.
"Zuo Wang Peak will disappear, Zuo Dao will definitely die, and only I am qualified to sit in the position of Sect Leader of Mount Hua Immortal Gate. Jie'er, your father will avenge you."
At this moment, Cui Yongshang's face was filled with rage, his eyes bloodshot. He cast a fierce glare toward the direction of Zuo Wang Peak and the Gathering of Immortals Hall.
The foundation of any second-tier sect is built over time, and Mount Hua Immortal Gate was no exception.
Jiang Chuan was not surprised by Zuo Dao's appearance. What could an ancient demon who had lived for a thousand years not see through? He was quite satisfied with Zuo Dao; if it weren't for Zuo Wang Peak standing in the way, he would have wanted to take this child as his disciple, along with a few others from Zuo Wang Peak.
Looking at Zuo Dao standing opposite him, Jiang Chuan simply said:

Only Zuo Dao remained in the grand hall, wearing a playful smile.
