Brother Fei pointed in a direction and said, "Over there, follow me." With that, he urged his escape light and flew ahead toward that direction.
Xunuo and Elder Jin traveled for several days before finally entering the depths of the Great Mountains. Suddenly, they saw six beams of escape light approaching them.
Elder Jin quickly halted his escape light and cupped his hands in greeting from a distance. "Thank you for personally coming to welcome me, I am truly honored."
Brother Fei glanced at Elder Jin and merely nodded slightly. He then turned to Xunuo and asked, "What is your name, friend?"
Xunuo looked at the group across from him, his heart racing. He thought to himself: this is not good.
Having seen the group flying directly toward him, Xunuo had a bad feeling. They had not yet reached the agreed-upon location. The cultivators from the Insect Path could not possibly know where he and Elder Jin were. When Xunuo noticed the Tracking Disk in the hands of one of the opposing cultivators, he realized they were indeed coming for him.
All along, Xunuo believed he had destroyed any traces of magical energy from his confrontation with the two cultivators from the Insect Path. He thought they could not detect his magical fluctuations. However, it seemed he had underestimated the means of the Insect Manipulation Cultivators.
Now, Xunuo regretted his reckless actions. But facing four Eleventh Layer Grandmasters and two Basic Skill Method cultivators at the tenth level left him with no chance of resistance. Without a second thought, he reached for a Dan Lei, deciding to seize an opportunity to throw it out and escape amidst the chaos.
Elder Jin was still unaware that things had escalated to a tense standoff. He introduced, "This Alchemist is a disciple recommended by my family's ancestor, named Xunuo. He has come today for an assessment."
Brother Fei smiled faintly, his lips moving slightly. Elder Jin's expression changed drastically in an instant.
Xunuo watched closely from the side, knowing that Brother Fei must have communicated with Elder Jin, revealing the truth of the situation. His body trembled as he activated his Armor Artifact. With his other hand, he pulled out a small white boat about a foot long and quickly distanced himself from Elder Jin.
Xunuo's actions immediately provoked the anger of several cultivators from the Insect Path. At Brother Fei's cold snort, six cultivators surrounded Xunuo and simultaneously summoned their magical artifacts, preparing to strike him down in one blow.
Xunuo stared in shock as the opponent revealed their six magical artifacts. Among them was the Heavenly Shadow Spike, which Xunuo had coveted for a long time.
Brother Fei, seeing that Xunuo had no chance of escape, sneered and said, "In front of my Insect Path, do you really think you can get away? Hand over your artifact and come back with me to face your punishment. Unless you want to be obliterated right here."
With that, he signaled to a Tenth Layer Cultivator. The cultivator took the artifact and flew toward Xunuo. He reached out to grab the small boat from Xunuo's hands, intending to snatch it away.
When Xunuo recognized this person as the one controlling the Heavenly Shadow Spike, he couldn't help but chuckle inwardly. He retracted his Dan Lei and instead of releasing his grip on the Against the Wind Boat, he extended his other hand and swiftly snatched the storage bag from the opponent's waist.
The Insect Manipulation Cultivator pulled at Xunuo's small boat but found it unyielding. Looking down at his own storage bag, he realized it had been taken from him. The audacity of being robbed right at his doorstep left him stunned.
Without giving him time to react, Xunuo kicked him away with a force that sent him flying three yards. Xunuo still had some foundation from Wuhua Sect Martial Arts, and this kick knocked the wind out of the cultivator. Immediately after, Xunuo released the Against the Wind Boat and flew off through the opening.
The members of Insect Path were furious. They had never experienced such humiliation, and various artifacts were immediately unleashed towards Xunuo.
At that moment, the speed advantage of the Against the Wind Boat became apparent. Among the artifacts launched by the Insect Manipulation Cultivators, only two Flying Sword Artifacts could match its speed. Initially, Xunuo flew toward the outskirts of Ten Thousand Great Mountains. However, he soon noticed several powerful beams of escaping light approaching head-on. Although he had Armor Artifact protection and could withstand a few rounds against an Eleventh Layer Cultivator without danger, Xunuo did not dare waste time here. He feared becoming trapped in an encirclement where escape would be impossible. He was particularly concerned about damaging the Against the Wind Boat since its defensive capabilities were too weak to withstand even a single strike from a magical artifact.
Thus, Xunuo changed direction and began darting through Ten Thousand Great Mountains. This caused the pursuing Cultivators to lose their bearings. Only Brother Fei, who possessed a Tracking Disk, was able to follow Xunuo closely.

Aside from that, Xunuo had no other means to rid himself of them.
At present, the farther one is from the entrance of the Insect Path, the higher the chances of escape. If the Sect, High-Level Practitioners, or even Golden Core Stage Cultivators were to be alerted, there would be no way out. Therefore, Xunuo decided to distance himself from the entrance of the Insect Path as he realized he could not escape the Ten Thousand Great Mountains.

Xunuo let out a groan of despair. After a brief analysis, he changed direction again and fled deeper into the Ten Thousand Great Mountains. The pursuer seemed to have guessed Xunuo's intentions and increased their speed.
Xunuo felt a surge of panic and blood surged in his throat. He pressed his hands against the sides of the Against the Wind Boat, channeling all his magical energy to increase its speed slightly. Moments later, he heard a sound like something tearing through the air behind him.
Turning around, Xunuo saw a massive fireball hurtling toward him like a meteor, igniting the forest below in flames. It seemed to set the very air ablaze as it closed in at high speed.
Sweat beaded on Xunuo's forehead as he pulled out a Dan Lei and tossed it behind him. Immediately after, there was a loud explosion as the enormous fireball was struck but appeared only slightly injured as it burst through the storm of lightning and roared angrily while continuing its pursuit.
However, this brief pause allowed Xunuo to regain some distance from it. Against such a powerful opponent, only Dan Lei could slightly delay them; talismans or magical artifacts would be ineffective.
While desperately fleeing, Xunuo prepared another Dan Lei to use when the enemy got closer.
Sure enough, the fireball quickly caught up again. He could even see within it an old man with wild hair and beard, cursing loudly as he pointed ahead. The crimson robe he wore had several holes in it, and one sleeve was missing, exposing an arm blackened from being hit by Dan Lei. It seemed that previous strike had caused this Insect Path master some trouble.
Xunuo dared not let him get too close and quickly threw another Dan Lei. The Crimson Robed Practitioner hesitated to confront it directly; that last hit had already stirred his blood and disrupted his magical flow.
This Red-Robed Elder was an elder of the Insect Path Surveillance Institute, responsible for overseeing disciples' training outside and tracking their progress. The two Insect Path disciples that Xunuo had killed were lured by Wu Jiadi during their training expedition, attempting to seize Xunuo's Armor Artifact but instead brought about their own demise.
The two slain Insect Path disciples were selected from cultivation families and sent to train at the Insect Path. One of them was even a direct descendant of Dome Mountain's Jin Family Foundation Establishment Ancestor. Disciples venturing out for training would leave behind their life spirit tablets at their sects as a precaution against danger.
At the moment when these two Cultivators were slain by Xunuo, his life spirit tablet shattered. However, the place where they met their demise was too far from the Insect Path's mountain gate. By the time the Red-Robed Elder arrived, Xunuo had already made his escape.
