This prodigy from the Strange Person Sect advanced through The Method of the Undead over thousands of years and ultimately achieved ascension. However, he was the only one from the Strange Person Sect to ascend to the spiritual realm using this method.
The Strange Person Sect is a branch of the Reanimation sect. Due to this remarkable individual who practiced The Method of the Undead, the prestige and influence of the Strange Person Sect gradually surpassed that of the Reanimation sect. Fearing this living corpse, the Reanimation sect endured in silence for thousands of years. However, after this practitioner ascended, the Strange Person Sect remained arrogant towards them, igniting their wrath.
The Reanimation sect is one of the prominent sects in Central Continent. Among its branches are five others, with the Strange Person Sect being just one. The Reanimation sect would never allow a branch sect to stand on equal footing with itself, let alone look up to it. Thus, they allied with four other branches to eradicate the Strange Person Sect. Naturally, the method for refining living corpses fell into their hands.
