Dai Tianqi looked at it for a good while before raising his head to look at Xunuo and said, "You need to provide the materials. The repair fee for this armor is one hundred spirit stones."

Dai Tianqi then called the Cultivator who had driven them there and had him take himself, Xunuo, and two young boys out of Chaotic Valley.
Xunuo harbored doubts and was worried that asking too many questions might upset the Refiner. So he started by asking what kind of labor he would be doing. Dai Tianqi closed his eyes and ignored him while the two boys explained.
It turned out that although Copper Sand Sea was a massive Geothermal Vein, it was also the territory of the Crimson Fire Ants. The Cultivators within Chaotic Valley could not use it freely. However, there were Foundation Establishment Stage Cultivators in Chaotic Valley. Eventually, a Foundation Stage Cultivator used their strength to draw out a branch of the Geothermal Vein but found that this branch had too weak a fire power. Only during a few days each year when the Geothermal Vein was most vigorous could they extract materials for Alchemy or artifact refining.
However, the Crimson Fire Ants in Copper Sand Sea were Demonic Insects with Fire Attributes. Capturing them and using spells to extract their Fire Attribute for artifact refining was a common method among the Refiners in Chaotic Valley. The labor assigned to Xunuo was to capture the Crimson Fire Ants.
Xunuo thought about it and felt that this task wasn't too difficult, so he relaxed. However, he soon thought of another question and asked, "Since Crimson Fire Ants are readily available, why not use them for Alchemy instead of selling herbs cheaply?"
One of the boys looked down on him and said, "You outsiders naturally don't understand; Crimson Fire Ants are poisonous in their fire. They are fine for artifact refining but would only produce Poison Pills if used for Alchemy—better suited for making money through harm."
Xunuo suddenly realized that what the boy said made sense.
The Beast Cart galloped forward, and these low-level beasts were not afraid of the Crimson Fire in the Desert Sea. In just one day, they had ventured deep into the Desert Sea.
Xunuo quickly reminded, "We have reached the depths of the Desert Sea. We must be cautious and avoid encountering any Evil Cultivators."
A boy scoffed, "With Master Dai here, others will only take a detour; who would dare to cause trouble?"
Xunuo's eyes darted around as he pondered this.
After traveling for a while longer, he faintly sensed the presence of the Crimson Fire Ants. Dai Tianqi finally opened his eyes and called for a stop to the Beast Cart. He arranged a return time with the boy driving the cart and sent him back.
In this scorching environment, Xunuo had already activated his Magic Shield, feeling anxious. He thought to himself: If we were surrounded by Crimson Fire Ants at this moment, it would be a dire situation.
While he was lost in thought, he saw Dai Tianqi choose a gentle sand dune. He took out three egg-sized spherical magical artifacts and tossed them into the air. The three artifacts flew off in different directions for several hundred feet before stabilizing in midair. Instantly, a cool breeze enveloped the entire area.
Xunuo watched these artifacts with great interest and said to Dai Tianqi, "Master has impressive skills."
Dai Tianqi coldly replied, "Don't waste time with flattery. Hurry up and catch some Crimson Fire Ants; otherwise, if you delay my time to repair the artifacts, don't blame me."
Xunuo could only smile awkwardly and darted toward a nearby group of Crimson Fire Ants. Moments later, he returned with dozens of them.
Dai Tianqi had already set up a Cauldron and activated a small confinement array beneath it. Xunuo shook the Crimson Fire Ants into the array. Dai Tianqi formed hand seals and pointed; the group of fire ants immediately emitted crimson flames that turned the Cauldron bright red.
Last time when repairing the Armor Artifact, Xunuo had leftover materials, so he hurriedly took them out. Dai Tianqi instructed Xunuo to retrieve the Armor Artifact, which he then examined closely while sending two boys to begin refining the raw materials.
Seeing Xunuo standing aside watching, Dai Tianqi frowned and said, "Do you think these few bugs are enough? We're far from done; go catch more Crimson Fire Ants."

When Xunuo returned with another batch of Crimson Fire Ants, he looked at the two boys refining materials and felt anger rising within him. Dai Tianqi was quite displeased with the two young disciples.

Noticing his two disciples whispering among themselves, Dai Tianqi urged them to continue catching Crimson Fire Ants. The two young disciples quickly set aside the batch they had just caught and went back to their task.
It wasn't until Xunuo finished refining the material that Dai Tianqi carefully inspected it and then smiled at Xunuo, saying, "Xue Dao You's methods in refining materials are no less than my own. The remaining materials can be entrusted to you for further refinement. I'll take a break and take this opportunity to study the runes on this artifact more closely."
