Dongfang Yunqing had a request for Xunuo. Now, Xunuo was also a seven-layer Cultivator of the Basic Skill Method. He put away the Tracking Disk and asked again, "What are the requirements for refining magical tools?"

However, this wasn't necessarily a bad thing; if others wanted to take the Heavenly Shadow Spike from him, it would inevitably lead to a conflict between them. Even if they did not kill him, he would not let them off easily.
Though Dongfang Yunqing did not want to be implicated by Xunuo, he still coveted Xunuo's alchemical skills.

Dongfang Yunqing listened with skepticism at first, but his eyes widened when he heard about the Unity Pill. Xunuo narrated the story vividly, filled with ups and downs. Dongfang Yunqing was well aware that in recent years, the Ten Thousand Great Mountains had become a true forbidden zone, with very few surviving those who ventured in to hunt beasts.
Once Xunuo finished his tale, Dongfang Yunqing believed about seventy to eighty percent of it. He repeatedly cautioned Xunuo, "You must never show this artifact to anyone. I suspect its origins might be linked to a major Cultivation Family. If they trace it back to you, you will have no way to defend yourself."
Xunuo quickly stood up to express his gratitude.
Dongfang Yunqing continued, "The Qi Guoren you mentioned earlier is someone I have interacted with; he is decisive and has strong opinions."
Xunuo thought to himself: Of course, he was decisive enough to send me off as a scapegoat.
Afterward, Dongfang Yunqing inquired about Xunuo's realm in Alchemy.

The Song Family has opened hundreds of Fire Chambers based on this fire vein, channeling Earth Fire into these chambers for rent to loose cultivators or other cultivation families for alchemy and artifact crafting. Other areas are controlled by powerful cultivation families. Moreover, places beyond the Great Liang Kingdom are not only far away but also extremely dangerous. Evil Cultivators often prey on loose cultivators who wander into their territory like sheep for slaughter. Logically speaking, as materials become scarce, it should be easier to exchange for Unity Pills.
