The disciple from Nanyue Sect who was overseeing the competition gathered his courage and announced, "In this match, Lu Zaisheng from Wuhua Sect is victorious."
He then cautiously looked at Xunuo and said, "Please, Lu Shaoxia, go down to draw lots and determine the schedule."
Xunuo remained standing, glancing at two individuals in the audience. These two were the other two young disciples competing for a spot among the top three in this Three Factions Sword Debate—one from Nanyue Sect and one from Pool Water Sect.
Xunuo's icy gaze lingered on their faces for a moment before he declared loudly, "There's no need for such trouble; you two can come up together. I'm in the mood for killing; facing both of you at once would be quite enjoyable."
Upon hearing this, the two standing below exchanged glances filled with uncertainty but said nothing. Both were adept at One Sword, Five Flowers techniques and were indeed outstanding among their peers. However, facing Xunuo would be akin to walking into death.

Xunuo had claimed first place in the young disciples' competition. His display of the One Sword, Seven Flowers technique astonished everyone present. When Tian Feiyu returned with Xunuo to the courtyard where Wuhua Sect was temporarily residing and recounted Xunuo's performance in the arena, everyone at Wuhua Sect was left speechless.
Though they had some expectations for Xunuo, hearing about how he had decisively repelled two disciples from other factions who made it into the top three was shocking. Especially when he executed the unparalleled One Sword, Seven Flowers technique, it rendered the entire venue silent.
After a moment, a Vice Hall Master finally exclaimed, "Well done!" He added, "This means our Wuhua Sect is on the rise; we should celebrate."
Several senior brothers from Seven Star Sword Hall could hardly contain their excitement as they surrounded Xunuo, asking him numerous questions.
Only Gao Weiji appeared pale and disinterested. Watching everyone else's jubilant expressions, he couldn't muster even a fraction of enthusiasm.

Seeing Gao Weiji speak like this made Tian Feiyu realize how deeply affected his junior brother was by this setback; he seemed somewhat dejected. After pondering for a moment, he replied, "What you say is true; we should indeed lay some groundwork for our juniors. The rest should be left for them to fight for themselves. It’s impossible for us old bones to keep doing all the fighting. Tomorrow I will join you in guarding the Seven Star Sword Formation while letting those two juniors battle it out in the arena."
Gao Weiji nodded and fell silent.
Tian Feiyu then addressed Xunuo and Liu Yunfei, saying, "Tomorrow, you two will go to the Arena. Neither Gao Shidi nor I will be attending. What you can compete for is what Wuhua Sect deserves. What you cannot obtain is not meant for our sect."
At first glance, Tian Feiyu seemed to be leaving this matter to the younger generation, almost as if he were gambling on their luck. However, his mind was as clear as a mirror. Setting aside Xunuo, Liu Yunfei was not inferior to him.

If he secured first place among the young disciples, Xunuo could request the Killing Blade from the sect. Xunuo could only respond with a respectful nod in agreement.
The other senior brothers at the Seven Star Sword Hall sighed in relief upon seeing Liu Yunfei finally willing to yield. They had been suppressed by this cold-faced genius for far too long.
