Compared to my stunned expression, Jack and the European seemed to grasp something faster and began to take action. 0

I saw Jack carrying the European as they circled around to the back of the black hole on my left. At that moment, I was certain the black hole was tangible; I watched as Jack and the European disappeared behind it, and moments later, they emerged from the other side. 0

Jack didn't stop his pace, continuing to carry the European as he nearly circled the black hole, running all the way back to my side. 0

"It's either spherical or cylindrical. A spherical shape is more likely; let me verify further," Jack said as he set the European down beside me. 0

The European's cane served as a makeshift stretcher for him; he couldn't stand on one leg but was reluctant to sit down, showing more interest in the black hole before us. Of course, his interest was purely professional. 0

I wasn't sure if he realized we were facing immense danger, but judging by his expression, he seemed excited, muttering something under his breath. I couldn't understand it; it wasn't English—sounded like German. If it were English, I might have caught some of it. 0

The European decisively placed one hand on my shoulder, using me as a crutch. 0

Jack set the European down and immediately ran toward the black hole. He crouched low, and at the moment he approached it, he suddenly twisted and lay down on the ground, pushing off with his feet as his body quickly slipped beneath the black hole. 0

My heart sank; this was a life-threatening gamble. Although I had no idea what this black hole was, it felt dangerous. 0

It resembled descriptions of black holes in physics: even light could not escape from within. 0

I kept my eyes fixed on Jack. The smooth ground allowed him to move fluidly, like a fish slipping into water as his entire body entered beneath the black hole. My worry about him being sucked into its depths did not materialize; instead, Jack crawled through underneath and re-emerged from the other side. 0

"It's spherical," Jack repeated in English to the European after confirming his observation. 0

The flare's light dimmed quickly as space fell into darkness. The black hole merged seamlessly with the surrounding shadows. 0

The European excitedly chattered away at Jack, occasionally waving one hand and shouting hoarsely as if giving a speech. 0

However, the European continued to speak to Jack in German. Frustrated, I turned to Jack and said, "Why not use English? Do you know I can't understand?" 0

Jack shook his head at me. "His native language is German. It's clearer for him to express himself in German; when he gets excited, he defaults to his mother tongue. Don't misunderstand." 0

"Fine, please clear up my misunderstanding," I pointed toward the black hole. "What is that?" 0

"He isn't sure; he offered two guesses: a passage or another space. You should be able to sense it; it's not something from our world—it comes from another space... or a higher dimension." 0

"More advanced?" I was completely bewildered. "Can you explain? Are there levels of space?" 0

The last remnants of Flare were swallowed by darkness. Our Flashlight remained off, and only the cold light of the Glow Stick illuminated our faces. I saw Jack frowning, as if he were organizing his words or... crafting a lie. 0

"Tesseract, that's what it is, a Tesseract. This possibility exists; it is in our world but cannot integrate into our world. It's not that it stands out or is particularly unique, but rather that it is completely out of place here." 0

I glanced at the still-chattering European and asked Jack, "What is he on about? I keep hearing him repeat something." 0

Jack's face stiffened. "He wants to take the Tesseract back with him." 0

I looked at the European, whose face was filled with excitement bordering on madness, and internally gave him the finger. If he could get himself out, that would be lucky enough; taking a black hole with him? He was delusional! 0

However, I didn't even feel like crushing his hopes. I immediately turned to Jack. "Tesseract? Are you picking on me because I'm a liberal arts major? Although I haven't studied Spatial Physics in depth, I understand the basics. Let me ask you, how could a Tesseract possibly appear in our world?" 0

Jack shrugged. "Why not?" 0

I almost let this American Guy drive me crazy. Was he just talking nonsense? I decided to expose his lies; otherwise, he would keep trying to fool me. 0

"A one-dimensional space is a line. A two-dimensional space is a flat surface with no thickness. Adding a vertical dimension to that two-dimensional surface gives us our Three-Dimensional Space. Am I correct?" I gestured as I asked Jack. 0

Jack nodded. "That's basically it." 0

"Good, as long as you agree with my explanation." I raised my right hand holding the One-Eyed Beast Flashlight and swept my left hand beneath it. "Let's assume there's a two-dimensional plane here; my One-Eyed Beast Flashlight is a three-dimensional object—there's no doubt about that, right? Whether it's a three-dimensional sphere or cylinder, it's still a three-dimensional object." 0

At the moment Jack nodded, I loosened my grip, and the One-Eyed Beast Flashlight clattered to the Ground. 0

"A three-dimensional object can pass through a two-dimensional plane. But how could it possibly enter two dimensions? There's no doubt about it; that's impossible! Even the tiniest three-dimensional fragment cannot enter a two-dimensional plane. This is determined by their physical properties. Similarly, no four-dimensional fragment can enter our Three-Dimensional Space!" 0

After saying this, I stared at Jack. I saw him frown again, looking like he was either thinking or fabricating more nonsense. 0

I didn't believe he had no answer; his understanding of dimensional space was likely deeper than mine—at least he wouldn't be as lost as I was. He, especially the European, should have an explanation for the black hole we were facing. But it wouldn't be a Tesseract. That made no sense! 0

"Another possibility then: your other possibility—a passageway. Where does it lead?" I really didn't want to hear any more of Jack's fabricated stories about the Tesseract. That was absurd! A passageway seemed much more plausible after all; he had previously entertained similar theories. 0

"Three-dimensional eyes cannot see four-dimensional!" I concluded with this phrase to express my dissatisfaction with his lies. 0

Jack sensed my discontent and looked at me deeply for a moment. He then raised a finger, pointing towards the black hole, and said, "Yes, three-dimensional eyes cannot see four-dimensional. So, what do you see?" 0

"Black..." 0

After I uttered that single word, I fell silent. Indeed, what did I see? Is black a substance? Clearly not. 0

Black is merely the result of light not being reflected back; it does not symbolize a physical object. There is not even air, no floating dust, nothing at all—light cannot refract or reflect within it. 0

"And I suggest you refrain from using conventional thinking to consider dimensional space," Jack nodded at me and continued. "One-dimensional, two-dimensional, three-dimensional—the increase in dimensions is linear. Does the increase in four-dimensional space have to be linear? Could it be a plane or something else? In the realm of spatial physics, there is a common viewpoint: the more outlandish the idea, the closer it may be to the truth, the more likely it is to guess the true nature of four-dimensional space." 0

I was taken aback and suddenly turned to look at Cao Mingzhe. 0
