Chapter 6: The Final Battle (The Grand Finale)
Cloud Mother stepped into the starry sky, unwilling to battle above Desolate Star and destroy her Yunlu Xian Sect's cave dwelling. Lin Feng followed closely behind; this was the final battle.
"It's just the last battle. Do you still want to escape?" Lin Feng said calmly.
"Do you think you are my opponent?"
After flying for an unknown duration, Cloud Mother suddenly stopped, waving her Jade Ruyi and pulling a massive star towards Lin Feng, hurling it at him.
Boom...
Lin Feng shattered the star with a punch and swung his arms downward. After the star broke apart, it transformed into countless debris, raining down on Cloud Mother like a dense storm.
"Annihilate."
With a light command, Cloud Mother unleashed Chaotic Energy from her Jade Ruyi, destroying the incoming debris. She was secretly astonished by Lin Feng's strength; he was not merely newly ascended to the Emperor Realm but had already stabilized himself there, his combat power comparable to her own.
A year ago, he was just an ant that could be crushed between two fingers. Who would have thought that a year later, he had become so powerful?
Cloud Mother was eager to know how Lin Feng had achieved this.
"If it weren't for the emergence of the Desolate Star threatening my father's rule, how could the court have been destroyed? You and your Divine Ruins have a deep-seated enmity with me. I truly regret not killing you sooner," Cloud Mother said bitterly.
Lin Feng replied nonchalantly, "You speak so grandly, yet you've already killed me once."
"How did you come back to life?" Yunlu finally couldn't help but ask. This question had occupied her thoughts for a long time. She had clearly slain Lin Feng that day; with his cultivation level, it was impossible for him to resurrect. The Market was blocked by her brother and the evil spirits in the passageway, making it even more impossible for anyone to come to his rescue.
"Call me Grandpa, and I'll tell you."
"You... will die."
Cloud Mother was left speechless with anger. Noble as she was, how dare anyone provoke and insult her like this? Holding the Jade Ruyi, she unleashed the sound of Dragon Roar. This Jade Ruyi was forged from a genuine dragon bone.

Both the Jade Ruyi and the Blood Devouring Cauldron were Imperial Artifacts. They possessed intelligence, could transform into human forms, and were no different from people. They could battle on their own.
"Ading, the opportunity is right in front of you; whether you can capture her as your wife depends on your ability," Lin Feng said with a smile.
"I'm coming too."
Ading did not respond but instead shouted out loud, breaking free from Lin Feng's control and rushing toward the Jade Ruyi to engage in battle.
Lin Feng watched and couldn't help but laugh. "This guy. He doesn't resemble me at all. He looks cool and handsome, but in reality, he's just a lecher."
Seeing the Jade Ruyi and Blood Devouring Cauldron locked in battle without gaining the upper hand, Cloud Mother was momentarily taken aback. She hadn't expected that the Divine Ruins would not only produce an Imperial Artifact but one with such formidable power.
"Relying on an Imperial Artifact, you are still no match for me. I will kill you within a hundred moves, ensuring you can never be reborn."
Cloud Mother was immensely imposing. She had lived for an eternity, witnessing the court and the Underworld, as well as the Battle of the demon realm. She had seen her father, experienced desolation, and encountered some of the most formidable beings that adorned the starry skies.
What was Lin Feng in comparison? How many years had he lived? Was it even a Centennial? Even if he had stepped into the Emperor Realm, he was not qualified to be considered a true rival.
The Battle was about to erupt; it was a confrontation that could annihilate the stars. It was a true Battle of the Emperor Realm. Every time their fists collided, a terrifying force surged forth, the source of destruction unlike anything ever witnessed.

An unprecedented roar echoed through the air. Lin Feng was thrust backward by an overwhelming force, blood spilling from his body. The strength of Lin Feng's physique had reached terrifying heights, yet today he was injured.
Cloud Mother also suffered greatly, staggering back with blood dripping from the corner of her mouth.
"You actually managed to injure me," Cloud Mother scoffed. During their earlier struggle, she realized just how formidable Lin Feng's body was—unprecedentedly strong. Even her father could not compare to him.
This young man had reached such heights. In just one year, how had he accomplished this? How was it even possible?
"Seal of the Court, fall."
With a soft command from Cloud Mother, she unleashed her ultimate Divine Ability, a secret technique of the Imperial Court. As she spoke, everything in the universe seemed to freeze; all things came to a standstill.
And Lin Feng, despite having entered the Emperor Realm, found himself unable to move.
"Die."
A proud expression crossed Cloud Mother's face as her Delicate Hand transformed into a Sword Point, aimed at Lin Feng. A wave of Chaotic Aura pierced through the starry sky, penetrating Lin Feng's chest.
At the same time, Cloud Mother charged forward, delivering a punch that shattered Lin Feng's body.
"Still too weak," Cloud Mother sneered.
"You celebrated too early."
A voice emerged from behind her; it was Lin Feng. In the moment he was frozen, he had cast Illusion and then, with great effort, shook off the seal. Just as Cloud Mother struck, he managed to move away, a perilous escape.
Standing behind Cloud Mother presented an excellent opportunity for a sneak attack, and Lin Feng certainly would not let it slip by.
His fists struck out like a meteor shower. Cloud Mother had no time to turn around and could only rush forward. Lin Feng followed closely behind.
Lin Feng's fists were just an arm's length away from Cloud Mother's back, unable to close the distance. Cloud Mother's speed was too great. However, that distance did not prevent Lin Feng's fists from delivering tremendous Fist Force into Cloud Mother's body.
Bang! Bang! Bang...
Cloud Mother endured too much Fist Force and kept coughing up blood. Yet she continued to advance rapidly, completely at a disadvantage.
The barrage lasted for two hours; it took Cloud Mother that long to widen the gap from an arm's length to ten feet. As she turned around, a sharp pain shot through her back.
Blood stained Cloud Mother's clothing. Several bones within her body had broken.
"How could you use my Holy Art?" Cloud Mother asked coldly.
"How does it feel to be deceived by your own technique?" Lin Feng retorted.
"Today, I will surely kill you."
Cloud Mother displayed an expression of anger, her hands forming a strange and complex gesture. She chanted incantations under her breath. An endless Chaotic Aura surged forth from her body.
Chaotic Energy continuously devoured the starry sky, then engulfed Lin Feng. He had no way to evade it.
"Ritual of Living Sacrifice."
This was a secret technique of the Ancient Court, drawing upon Cloud Mother's chaotic cultivation to unleash its strongest power.

Lin Feng suffered a heavy blow, his physical form instantly shattering. This time, it was not an illusion but reality. Fortunately, Lin Feng managed to protect his Primordial Spirit in time.

Cloud Mother let out a desperate roar as she prepared her ultimate attack.
The Cosmic Starry Sky suddenly lost its color. It wasn't darkness; instead, it was a searing white light that obscured everything, including Lin Feng's vision and Divine Consciousness.
This was Celestial Light, the last remnant of the Flying Immortal power passed down from the Ancient Court to Cloud Mother. It was her strongest and final resort.
Everywhere turned into a blinding white expanse. Wherever it spread, the sun, moon, and stars exploded one by one, the destruction of the universe rippling through the outskirts.
The Celestial Light burned for an entire day. After a day had passed, it gradually dimmed, revealing two figures slowly emerging. The Imperial Artifact they held was already incomplete, and both were drenched in blood.
Lin Feng was covered in blood, swaying as if standing was a tremendous challenge. Imperial Blood stained the starry sky.
In comparison, Cloud Mother fared much better. Under the healing of Chaotic Energy, she regained her former ethereal beauty, resembling a celestial mother—noble and serene.
However, her eyes began to show signs of aging.
The support of the Celestial Light had run out, and she could no longer maintain her youthful appearance.
"With the Celestial Light exhausted, let your blood make up for it."
The Holy Mother sneered as she struck, stepping forward with the Jade Ruyi right in front of Lin Feng. Lin Feng could not evade; he could only retreat to protect his Primordial Spirit, while his physical body was shattered for the second time.
However, this time, reassembling his body would not be easy.
A beam of light suddenly descended here, entering Lin Feng's Primordial Spirit.
"Where did this light come from?"
Cloud Mother looked towards the swift light and saw a blue star through the infinitely distant universe.
"The aura of the wilderness; so you attained enlightenment there. Once I kill you, I will destroy that star," Cloud Mother said coldly.
Lin Feng remained silent, using this light to reconstruct his body. Then he sat cross-legged and began to burn himself.
"I transform myself into a blazing sun; I am the light that illuminates the universe and the eight desolations."
Lin Feng's cultivation, blood, and physical body ignited once more, radiating billions of golden rays. His foundation began to slowly decline. This was the final strike born from severing his own cultivation.

Cloud Mother was already at her limit, with no power left to use. The failure to kill Lin Feng with the Celestial Light signified her defeat.

“You’ve caused my wife’s demise, and you still expect me to take you back to find her?” Ading replied indignantly. Just moments ago, amidst the billions of golden lights, Jade Ruyi had also turned to dust.
Ading took Lin Feng back first to the Desolate Star. With the death of the Cloud Mother, all nightmares above the Desolate Star awakened. Those who had not perished regained their clarity.
The Senior Brother, Second Senior Brother, Third Senior Sister, Qi Wan'er, Cold Rain, Tang Jiner, and Mo Mo looked at Lin Feng. They had a thousand words to say but didn’t know where to begin.
After a long while, the Senior Brother asked, “Junior Brother, where do you plan to go next?”
“To the starry sky.”
Lin Feng bid farewell to everyone and stepped into the starry sky under Ading's guidance. He did not return to Earth; he wanted to find the source of reincarnation and see if Miaomiao was there.
