Chapter 61: Finding a Wife
"Master, is there really no other choice?" Lin Feng frowned.

Lin Feng recognized who this figure was, and he was but a drop of Essence Blood from it.
Lin Feng stepped forward and entered the humanoid figure, sitting cross-legged and merging with it.
At that moment, from the infinite distance, the life force of the stars Lin Feng nurtured formed a beam of light that surged down from above his head into his body.
Three months later, Lin Feng opened his eyes.
"Master, don't worry. I will handle everything below," Lin Feng said softly.
Boom...
An unprecedented roar echoed throughout the vast universe.
Lin Feng bowed deeply toward the source of the explosion and said, "Master, Shishu, safe travels."
Master was truly exhausted. He had stood guard in the passage for countless years, enduring alone without a helping hand. Now, he had finally found release.
Leaving with Shishu was a good destination for Master. Regardless of whether there would be another life, it was rare to meet a kindred spirit in this one.
Lin Feng turned and returned to his dwelling.
"Lin Feng, you're back!" Wind Spirit exclaimed happily.
Lin Feng nodded and then saw Ading. "Let's go. It's time to settle things."
"Alright," Ading replied.
Lin Feng handed the baby in his arms to Ling Er and said, "Ling Er, you stay at home and take good care of Tianxin."
"Okay," Wind Spirit obediently nodded. At that moment, she understood that Lin Miaomiao's daughter meant everything to Lin Feng. She also cherished Miaomiao's daughter deeply.
"Tianxin, your father is truly a lovesick fool. It's a pity he has no place for me in his heart now. Should we be happy or sad about this?" Wind Spirit teased as she played with Lin Tianxin.
Lin Feng remained silent. Instead, he pulled Wind Spirit into his embrace and gently said, "What's wrong? Are you jealous?"
"Hmph, I wouldn't be jealous of Tianxin! I was just teasing you. With that serious face of yours, anyone would think someone owes you money," Wind Spirit laughed.
Lin Feng lightly kissed Wind Spirit on the forehead, causing her cheeks to flush. She shyly said, "What are you doing? Ading is right here."
"Take good care of Tianxin. And yourself too," Lin Feng said tenderly as he gazed at Wind Spirit.
"I know. Tianxin and I will wait for you to come back," Wind Spirit looked up at Lin Feng, her eyes revealing a hint of worry deep within.
"I will."
After exchanging a few more pleasantries, Lin Feng and Ading entered the cosmos once again, returning to Desolate Star.
Desolate Star was devoid of any life; not a single creature remained unscathed. The absence of vitality signified that this star was heading towards destruction.
"What benefit does the destruction of Desolate Star bring to Yunlu Xian Sect?" Ading asked in confusion.
"This Desolate Star can be likened to the garden of Yunlu Xian Sect. If we do not cultivate it regularly and replant, the weeds will only grow more rampant. Eventually, a mutated seed might emerge, growing into a towering tree in the future. By then, everything will become much more troublesome," Lin Feng explained.
"Are you saying you are a mutation yourself?" Ading asked seriously.
"We are one and the same," Lin Feng replied with a smile.
"Then if you have a wife, is she mine?" Ading countered.
"Why are you suddenly so talkative? It seems you're lovesick. No need to rush; Yunlu Xian Sect has an Imperial Artifact that should be female. We can capture it for you as a wife," Lin Feng said.
"You’re the one who’s lovesick! Am I that shallow? But what if that Imperial Artifact is male?"
"Then we’ll take him for a gender reassignment surgery; you’ll just have to make do."
"Go to hell."
Amid their banter, they arrived once more at Yunlu Xian Sect. The familiar surroundings felt different now. Lin Feng could clearly see that as the vitality from Desolate Star faded away, it all converged here.
Lin Feng gently lifted his foot and stepped through the space of Yunlu Xian Sect, entering its realm.
The Cloud Mother appeared, and upon seeing Lin Feng again, she showed a look of shock. "How are you still alive?"
"The former fairy of the court, I believe you already know that your brother has died. Yet I see no sorrow on your face," Lin Feng replied calmly.
"It has nothing to do with you," the Cloud Mother retorted coldly.
"Your age has indeed reached the level of a dog, but even dogs have feelings. Isn't it because the power of the Earth is insufficient to support two great emperors? You have incited your brother to become my enemy in the Divine Ruins," Lin Feng said, though this was merely his speculation.
The Cloud Mother responded, "Don't forget, it was your Divine Ruins' Shishu who caused trouble for my Yunlu Xian Sect."
"I, the Master of the Divine Ruins, and Huo Zun resolved all grievances, while you took advantage of the Demon Clan's hands to secretly infiltrate the collapsed court and released evil spirits."
"I was unable to withstand them, and Huo Zun seized the opportunity to invade my body."
"My master held off Shishu and the evil spirits as they entered the passage and could never escape. You are the instigator of all this," Lin Feng said lightly, yet his killing intent was palpable.
"You actually know everything," the Cloud Mother said with some surprise.
"Die, you wretch," Lin Feng declared, feeling that no words could more accurately describe her. For her own immortality, she had not hesitated to involve her own brother and destroy all remaining great emperors in the world. She regularly created apocalyptic scenarios to prevent anyone from cultivating into a great emperor.
"You think that just because you've cultivated to my Foundation level, you are my opponent? I still have an Imperial Artifact."
The Cloud Mother waved her hand, and a Jade Ruyi flew into her grasp, radiating chaotic light and containing a young woman within.
"At least it's a woman," Ading remarked.
With that, Ading transformed into an Ancient Cauldron, exuding Chaotic Energy along with a thick aura of bloodlust.
“Imperial Artifact, I have one too,” Lin Feng said calmly.
“You…” Cloud Mother was somewhat panicked. She said, “I didn’t expect a disciple of the Divine Ruins to cultivate such a sinister object. I wonder how many living beings’ Essence Blood you’ve consumed.”
“Yeah, I just need your blood to complete it,” Lin Feng sneered.
“There can never be another Emperor born in this world. Do you really want to decide our fates?” Cloud Mother asked, already feeling a sense of retreat in her heart.
“Are you disgusted by seeing this vile woman?” Ading spoke up, unable to hold back. “Just make your move. You already have two wives; I finally found one I like.”
“Fine.”
