Chapter 37: You and I Together
Lin's strike was not light. Although he did not employ swordsmanship, a vast Vital Energy Power enveloped his right fist as he struck fiercely at Lin Feng.
Lin Feng countered with a punch that sent Lin flying, prompting Lin to decide that he would incapacitate Lin Feng with a single blow.
Before his fist could reach its target, Miaomiao arrived first, a surge of energy rushing toward her. She immediately turned and positioned herself in front of Lin Feng. Upon seeing Lin's fist, she realized that if it landed, Lin Feng would be severely injured.

However, Lin Feng paid them no mind. He gently spoke to Miaomiao, "Miaomiao, let's go back."
Miaomiao nodded and glanced at Lin before looking at the rising figures in the pavilion. She said, "Brothers, if Lin Feng has acted recklessly in any way, I apologize on his behalf. But if anyone seeks trouble with Lin Feng, they will be seeking trouble with me, Lin Miaomiao."

Upon hearing this, Lin became even more anxious. "So they’re childhood sweethearts? No wonder my junior sister protects him so much. What are we going to do? We’ve worked hard only to let my junior sister be defeated by that guy? Isn’t this like a toad trying to eat goose meat? You all need to come up with a plan!"
"This isn’t complicated at all. Just kill that guy and it’ll be over," Qi Yuantian, the eldest disciple of Dazhu Peak, said casually, as if killing someone was just an everyday occurrence for him.

Lu Wushuang stood up and silently prepared to leave. Lin looked at him and asked, "Brother Lu, what kind of attitude is this? Are you agreeing with my and Brother Qi's plan?"
"Since we are all the eldest disciples from different peaks, why should we harm our fellow disciples without a valid reason?" Lu Wushuang replied as he paused.
"Then what good solution do you have?" Lin said with an unhappy expression.
"Junior Sister and that guy will part ways sooner or later; we just need to wait. With Junior Sister's talent, her cultivation will progress very quickly. By then, her horizons will broaden, and she will enter a completely different world, existing on a level entirely apart from that guy. Eventually, she will naturally distance herself from him. With that, Lu Wushuang turned and walked away.
