Peng Bai was taken aback, glancing at Wei Ning, who stood calmly to the side with his hands clasped behind him, exuding an air of composure. "You... Wei Xian Gui is your family's sworn enemy. How can you lend him the Six Senses? Have you forgotten how your grandfather lived his life? Have you forgotten how your grandfather's mother died?" Peng Bai pointed at Wei Ning, his voice filled with anger. "You ungrateful wretch!"
Wei Ning replied lightly, "Regardless of anything, Wei Xian Gui is still a member of my Wei Family. Matters concerning the Wei Family will be resolved by us. Even if we die, we will never rely on others."
Peng Bai looked at Wei Ning with confusion, a strange feeling washing over him. At that moment, Wei Ning seemed no longer the naive youth who could be easily manipulated; he had begun to learn to judge matters in his own way and even possessed a subtle aura of dominance. If allowed to develop further, he might become another Wei Xianjun or Wei Xian Gui. Peng Bai realized he could not let this continue; otherwise, he might never be able to control him again.
A flash of murderous intent crossed Peng Bai's eyes. However, he was clearly overthinking things; he should be more concerned about facing a terrifying Wei Xian Gui who had broken through the Six Senses and borrowed the Yin-Yang Eye.
Wei Xian Gui, having borrowed the Six Senses, suddenly radiated a brilliant light from his single eye and leaped up, laughing heartily. "Peng Bai, this time next year will be your death anniversary!"
Wei Xian Gui shouted loudly, "Go play in the Nether Blood Sea with your Evil Spirits!" With that, he struck down with his palm, hitting the Human Centipede directly. The Human Centipede made no sound as it was sent flying into the Nether Blood Sea, flailing helplessly before being dragged into the Blood Pool by countless bloodied hands.
With the Yin-Yang Eye glowing fiercely, Wei Xian Gui declared, "The Yin-Yang Eye is an ancient celestial artifact capable of capturing earth, humans, ghosts, gods, Buddhas, demons, yin, yang, and emptiness. If you use it so casually, it would truly be a waste."
As Wei Xian Gui spun rapidly in mid-air, he suddenly formed a hand seal and shouted loudly, "Yin-Yang Eye! With the chase of opposites! Eyes like thunder and lightning! Illuminating all directions! Nothing can escape!" As soon as he finished speaking, a beam of light shot from his eye directly at the Yin-Yang Boy. The Yin-Yang Boy screamed in agony as if engulfed in flames, his body glowing red as if burning.
Though both wielding the Yin-Yang Eye, it seemed that Wei Xian Gui had utilized its power to its fullest extent. Wei Ning felt a surge of excitement within; if one day he could wield the Yin-Yang Eye like Wei Xian Gui did and reach such heights—what an extraordinary realm that would be.
Peng Bai's expression changed repeatedly as he hurled several talismans toward Wei Xian Gui. Each talisman was struck by Wei Xian Gui's radiant light and instantly turned to ashes. In mid-air, Wei Xian Gui stood on Yubu with hair flowing without wind and pointed at Peng Bai's forehead. Peng Bai let out a pained cry as his body fell backward. With a splashing sound, blood erupted from him as he stood up again and spun around like a ghost. Wei Xian Gui laughed heartily. "As the saying goes: 'Talismans have no fixed form; they rely on spirit.' Peng Bai, your intentions are impure; what power can your talismans hold against my celestial artifact, the Yin-Yang Eye? You will only ever dabble in minor tricks!"
Before Wei Xian Gui finished speaking, Peng Bai began forming talisman seals with both hands. Suddenly a strange glow emanated from him; his face changed seven times in quick succession until it became increasingly pale. He cried out weakly, "If Seven Killing Boy does not emerge now, when will he?" With that, Peng Bai expelled a breath of true energy aimed directly at the Yin-Yang Boy. Previously captured by Wei Xian Gui's Yin-Yang Eye and trembling all over, upon receiving this breath of true energy from Peng Bai, the Yin-Yang Boy's eyes suddenly regained their light as a symbol appeared on his forehead.
Seeing this symbol caused Wei Xian Gui's heart to tremble. "The Returning Light Technique! Peng Bai, are you willing to sacrifice your life?"
As Peng Bai expelled true energy while using this technique, he seemed to age a hundred years in an instant; his skin cracked like parched earth as his body began to shrink until he resembled a full-moon baby yet remained stubbornly defiant. Blood froth appeared at the corners of his mouth as he gasped weakly, "If I cannot destroy you... I will perish alongside you..." This Returning Light Technique was Peng Bai's final strike—he poured all his essence into the Yin-Yang Boy in hopes of seizing victory through 'one thought returning light' and forcing Wei Xian Gui to death.
The Yin-Yang Boy suddenly transformed and unleashed both fists in a thunderous strike that descended upon Wei Xian Gui. Without flinching, Wei Xian Gui met this strike with the Yin-Yang Eye; upon collision there was an explosion of fire and sound that shook the air around them.
"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!" The thunderous sound roared like a storm, striking directly at Wei Xian Gui. Standing on Yubu, Wei Xian Gui dodged while counterattacking. He formed a seal with his hands and struck three times. In an instant, countless bolts of lightning were forcefully suppressed by him. Gripping the Demon-Subduing Staff Technique, he harmonized his spirit and energy, and suddenly, the Dark Eight Gates opened on his body. With a tongue that crackled like spring thunder, he shouted, "You wretched beast, accept your death!"
With a single palm strike.
Thud! Thud! The dull sounds echoed repeatedly as Yin-Yang Boy was engulfed in thick, viscous black smoke. His eyes glazed over, and the golden light of the symbol on his forehead dimmed, instantly transforming into a puddle of pus!
A one-hit kill, an absolute one-hit kill!!
The Yin-Yang Boy, painstakingly developed by Peng Bai over decades, was unexpectedly annihilated in an instant by Wei Xian Gui.
Peng Bai, who had been filled with anticipation, suddenly found himself unable to draw a breath of true energy. His eyes rolled back as he collapsed into the Blood Pool.
From within the Blood Pool came Peng Bai's distant voice: "Wei Er has betrayed me!!!"
The Blood Pool began to slowly contract until it eventually transformed into a single drop of blood that fell to the ground. Wei Xian Gui frowned slightly as he looked at the three flickering eternal lamps and slowly approached them. He said, "Your master is dead; why do you still shine?" With that, he waved his hand, and the lamps extinguished.
When a person dies, it is like a lamp being snuffed out; indeed, it was so.
