After everything was tidied up, Wang Tuozi led Wei Ning to a side room belonging to Peng Bai. At this moment, Peng Bai was fully equipped, seriously donning a white lab coat and wearing medical rubber gloves. However, no matter how one looked at it, his serious demeanor was at odds with his physique, giving off an inexplicable sense of humor. 0

"You're here," Peng Bai said, pointing to a wooden board propped up by four wooden beams in the corner. "Lie down and don't move." 0

He then rummaged through a nearby cabinet and pulled out a syringe as thick as an arm. "The anesthetic that Qiqi brought back should be sufficient. I'll give you general anesthesia. After the surgery, when you wake up, you'll find your eyesight restored." 0

Wei Ning glanced at Wang Tuozi, who nodded in affirmation, before lying down on the board. Peng Bai administered the injection, and Wei Ning felt his eyelids growing heavier until he slowly lost consciousness. 0

Seeing that Wei Ning had fainted, Wang Tuozi surveyed the surroundings and noticed there were no surgical tools in sight. "You’re performing the surgery here?" 0

Peng Bai smiled mysteriously. "What do you think? I just didn’t want him to see my operating room and get scared. Otherwise, if he saw it, he probably wouldn’t let me operate on him again." 0

After saying this, Peng Bai pressed a hidden mechanism somewhere, causing a wooden board to slowly shift aside and reveal a secret door leading to a basement. Since there was no light inside, it was impossible to see what lay beyond. Peng Bai chuckled, "Old brother, are you interested in going down to take a look?" 0

Wang Tuozi snorted coldly. "Of course I need to supervise you; otherwise, when my apprentice wakes up and finds he's missing some body parts, it won't be good." 0

Peng Bai shook his head with a smile. "You always judge me by your own standards, Wang Tuozi. Fine then, just stand by and protect me. If any Evil Spirits show up later, at least you'll be there to back me up." 0

With that, Peng Bai shook the board again, revealing four wheels underneath it, and pushed Wei Ning straight down into the basement while Wang Tuozi followed closely behind. 0

As they entered the basement, Wang Tuozi sniffed the air. "There's a heavy aura of resentment here; it seems there are quite a few lost souls under your care." 0

Inside the basement was pitch black. Peng Bai navigated effortlessly as if intentionally avoiding turning on the lights while nudging Wang Tuozi along. Not wanting to lose face in front of Peng Bai, Wang Tuozi remained silent and followed the sound of Peng Bai's footsteps in the dark. 0

When they reached what seemed like the center of the room, Peng Bai snapped his fingers. Suddenly, a beam of light shot down from the ceiling. Wang Tuozi looked up and gasped despite his extensive experience; the light emanated from a crow's eye. With this illumination, he realized that countless crow eyes were embedded densely in the walls of the room. Noticing Wang Tuozi's pale expression, Peng Bai couldn't help but show a hint of pride as he clapped his hands. The crow eyes seemed to come alive with energy and opened wide, illuminating the entire room. 0

Peng Bai beamed with satisfaction. "What do you think? My shadowless lamp isn't bad at all." 0

Wang Tuozi replied coldly, "I fear you only intend to use these crow eyes' spiritual power to suppress all this resentment in your room." 0

"Not bad, not bad," Peng Bai clapped his hands and said. "People in this world believe that crows are ominous because of their harsh cries, and that they must fall from trees nine times in one night before dawn, yet they do not realize that to me, they are indeed a great treasure." 0

Wang Tuozi followed the glint in the crow's eye and surveyed the surroundings. The walls were adorned with bloodied human skins and severed limbs, with heads of various ages nailed up, enough to make anyone's hair stand on end. However, Wang Tuozi's gaze was fixed intently on a glass bottle in the southeast corner. 0

On a shrine in the southeast corner, there was a glass bottle containing a murky yellow liquid, within which floated the body of a boy about four or five years old. The boy had been disemboweled, with only a single intestine remaining, which extended out from the glass container and wrapped around a Soul Banner. The portion submerged in the liquid was pale, while the part coiled around the Soul Banner was pitch black. 0

"Yin-Yang Boy," Wang Tuozi exclaimed in shock. "You are actually still refining such evil things!" 0

Peng Bai smiled and said, "This is my son. What do you think? Isn't he handsome? Yu, greet your grandfather." 0

The Yin-Yang Boy seemed to possess some spirit as he suddenly opened his eyes wide. It turned out that his eye sockets were hollow; both eyeballs were long gone. 0

"The Yin-Yang Boy is a secret of the Western Black Cult. How do you know about it?" 0

"You don't need to ask that; even if you did, I wouldn't tell you." 0

With crows' eyes all around and severed limbs lining the walls, along with the strange Yin-Yang Boy, it would be an utterly horrifying scene for any ordinary person. Yet Peng Bai had spent time in such an environment. One could not help but wonder what kind of obsession he harbored or if he was simply deranged. 0

Wang Tuozi sighed deeply and lamented, "Now I finally understand why you wanted my Liu Linglang. It turns out you were already prepared. Is it worth it to go through so much for revenge?" 0

"Beware of retribution!" Peng Bai hissed angrily. "Don't question me; isn't Lin Changjing also living his life seeking revenge? I'm different from him; I will ensure that I understand this grudge myself and will not pass it on to the next generation." 0

Upon hearing Lin Changjing's name, Wang Tuozi's expression suddenly became distant as he murmured, "Chang Jing... Chang Jing... sigh..." 0

At that moment, Peng Bai no longer paid attention to Wang Tuozi, who was lost in memories. He shed his usual playful demeanor, and his expression grew solemn. He gently caressed Wei Ning's body and murmured, "1...," Peng Bai pronounced each word slowly, his eyes sparkling with a certain brilliance. "050607!" 0

"07!" Peng Bai thought fiercely about this number and silently declared, "I’m close to knowing... I’m close to knowing..." 0

Peng Bai felt increasingly excited, a wave of uncontrollable joy seemed to surge in his eyes. "Undying Bone! Undying Bone! I finally understand, so this is the secret of Undying Bone... Wei Xian Gui, Wei Xian Gui, the secret of your Wei Family..." 0

Suddenly, a pair of hands grabbed Peng Bai. Wang Tuozi's eyes flashed with a fierce light as he slowly shook his head. 0

"Are you not even a little tempted?" Peng Bai conveyed with his gaze. 0

Wang Tuozi shook his head and spoke each word deliberately, "Can you control it?" 0

Peng Bai stared silently at Wang Tuozi for a few moments before letting out a long sigh. "Very well, let's start giving Wei new eyes." 0

Peng Bai's complexion returned to normal as he smiled. "Before we begin the surgery, let me show you my assistant." 0

"Assistant?" Wang Tuozi was taken aback. "You have an assistant?" 0

Peng Bai replied, "What surgeon doesn't have a few assistants to wipe sweat and hand over scalpels? It's just that my assistant is a bit special; I fear it might scare you." 0

"Ridiculous!" Wang Tuozi snorted coldly. 0

Peng Bai walked over to a hidden door, opened it, and gently said, "Darling, come out; we have guests." 0
