Wang Tuozi looked down at Wei Ning, who had fainted in his arms, feeling a mix of anger and pain. He was angry that Wei Ning was so naive, hurting himself over a woman to such an extent. The pain stemmed from the fact that Wei Ning, such a pure-hearted child, had suffered such a heavy blow in love. 0

He truly wondered if Wei Ning could pull through this. 0

"Wang Chuyi!" Lin Lingsu glared at Wang Tuozi, her words sharp as she bit them out between clenched teeth. 0

Wang Chuyi glanced around coldly and replied, "I don't have time to play with you today. I will settle the score for my disciple's grievance when I visit Dragon Tiger Mountain." 0

"No need to wait. Today, we should settle our accounts properly!" 0

"Today is not convenient; I will definitely come by another day to discuss it." Wang Tuozi hoisted Wei Ning onto his back and prepared to leave in haste. 0

Lin Lingsu waved her hand, and several disciples from Dragon Tiger Mountain stepped forward to block Wang Chuyi's path. 0

"Xu Suwen. Are you really going to act as lowly as this child? Is this what you call the noble and righteous path that has lasted for thousands of years?" Wang Chuyi fixed his gaze on the man with the gold-rimmed glasses. 0

"Senior, to achieve my goals, I have no choice but to resort to these means. Please forgive any offense," Xu Suwen adjusted his glasses and replied. 0

"Very well," Wang Chuyi let out a long whistle. "It seems that if I don't leave something behind today, you won't let me go easily!" 0

Lin Lingsu spat with hatred, "Today marks the day you, the murderous Wang Chuyi, confront my Lin family over a century of grievances. You shall not escape!" 0

Wang Chuyi stared at Lin Lingsu for a moment before saying indifferently, "Xu Suwen, do you really think these insignificant pawns can trap me here? What about Ning Suwen? Has he arrived yet?" 0

Lin Lingsu declared, "To deal with someone like you, a wicked outsider, I alone am enough. Wang Chuyi, prepare to die!" 0

"Alright, alright, I want to see if you Dragon-Tiger Lineage have made any progress over the years. Are you still as useless as your father?" With that, he tossed Wei Ning to the ground and began to form hand seals with both hands, stepping through the seven steps of Li, Zhi, Huo, Zun, and Sheng. He shouted loudly, "Kill back to the earth, kill back to the years, kill back to the month! I ask the honored one to assist me in killing and slaying in this world!" 0

Suddenly, a white mist began to gather around Wang Chuyi, slowly taking shape. In a moment, it transformed into a monkey-like figure about a foot tall, its eyes glowing red and its body radiating a crimson light. 0

"Drought Corpse!" Xu Suwen exclaimed in shock. "You actually summoned such an evil creature again? Haven't you had enough from last time? Let's go, Lin!" With that, Xu Suwen hurriedly retreated. 0

However, Lin Lingsu remained rooted in place as if his feet were glued to the ground, staring intently at Wang Tuozi. 0

"What of the Drought Corpse. Let me handle it," Lin Lingsu said dismissively as a disciple who underestimated his own abilities tried to take credit in front of him. He struck out at the red monkey with both hands, but as soon as he made contact, black smoke erupted from the point of contact and quickly engulfed him in flames. A disciple rushed forward to save him but was met with the same fate—black smoke enveloped him too, turning him into a mass of black fire. 0

"Nine Yin True Fire," Xu Suwen shouted in alarm. "Run!" He fled without looking back. The other disciples seemed paralyzed by fear at this scene and scattered like birds at Xu Suwen's command. 0

Only Lin Lingsu remained at the scene. 0

"Get lost! I don't want to kill you!" 0

"But I want to kill you!" Lin Lingsu declared as a Seven Star Sword materialized in his hand aimed at Wang Tuozi. 0

Wang Tuozi remained unfazed, making a strange sound with his mouth. Suddenly, Lin Lingsu loosened his grip; the steel sword clattered to the ground as he doubled over, clutching his stomach while beads of sweat dripped from his forehead. 0

"Thank you, brother Drought Corpse," Wang Tuozi said casually. He didn't even bother to glance at Lin Lingsu, picking up Wei Ning and walking away without looking back. 0

Miao Region. Miao Village. Stilted House. 0

Meng Ge continued his daily research on how to perfectly smoke out a human head, completely ignoring the presence of Wang Tuozi sitting across from him. 0

"Is there really no way out?" 0

"I've realized that you're getting more and more confused as you age. If you're sick, you should go to the hospital. What good does it do to come to me?" 0

Wang Chuyi let out a bitter laugh. "If the hospital had a solution, why would I come to you? The doctor said his optic nerve is completely severed, and with whatever virus he's infected with, he'll only be able to get a prosthetic eye." 0

Meng Ge rolled his eyes. "Since the doctors at the big hospital can't help, what can I, a country doctor, possibly do? You should just go to a larger hospital and see if they have any solutions." 0

"We've been brothers for so many years; I know your strengths and weaknesses. You're my last hope. This kid... sigh, he's really too thoughtless. I'm too lazy to even scold him..." He sighed deeply. 0

"I actually think this kid is adorably foolish. Let me take a look." Meng Ge finally stood up and walked over to the bed where Wei Ning lay. He checked Wei Ning's pulse and said, "He's in pretty bad shape. If he weren't from the Wei Family, he would have died long ago. It's impressive that he managed to suppress his internal injuries for so long, but now that everything has erupted at once, I truly have no way to help." 0

"Really?" 0

"Really." 0

"Is there really no way?" Wang Tuozi stared blankly at Wei Ning, murmuring to himself. 0

"Sigh, I can't do anything, but that doesn't mean others can't." 0

"Really?" Wang Tuozi quickly perked up at the hint of hope. 0

"Go find him. Not only can he help this kid recover from his internal injuries, but he can also fit him with a Yin Eye." 0

"A Yin Eye? You want me to beg that old monster?" 0

Meng Ge sighed, "Although Peng Bai has a bit of a temper, his abilities are truly beyond my reach. Whether you go or not is up to you. I've said all I needed to say; you can leave now." 0

In a secluded valley of Dragon Tiger Mountain, Lin Lingsu stepped lightly with the Seven Star Step, reciting incantations: 0

"Ding Chou, extend my life; 0
Ding Hai, bind my soul. 0
Ding You, control my spirit; 0
Ding Wei, avert my disaster. 0
Ding Si, navigate my dangers; 0
Ding Yin, guide me through misfortune. 0
Jiazi, protect my body; 0
Jia Xu, safeguard my form. 0
Jia Shen, fortify my life; 0
Jiawu, guard my soul. 0
Jia Chen, calm my spirit; 0
Jia Yin, nurture my truth." 0

Suddenly, a tear in the sky opened up, and a gigantic Golden Armored Deity appeared in mid-air. 0

This was the Divine General from Taoist beliefs, one of the Six Ding and Six Jia Guardian Deities. 0

Lin Lingsu looked up at the Six Ding and Six Jia Guardian Deities and murmured, "Am I wrong? Am I wrong? Am I wrong?" 0

The Divine General replied, "Each serves their own master. Lin, don't be too upset." 0

"But I... I not only deceived him but also caused him to lose an eye. Am I the worst woman in the world? I..." 0

The Divine General sighed and said, "In truth, you are also a victim of circumstances." 0

"Will he ever forgive me? Mengmeng? Will Wei Ning forgive me? He must hate me so much right now, right?" Lin Lingsu's beautiful eyes glimmered as a tear fell. 0
