Wei Ning walked towards the bride, lifting the veil to reveal Lin Lingsu. The groom chuckled, "Your sister-in-law just passed away not long ago, so her spirit is still lingering in her body. But there are ways around it; I will bribe the Ghost Messenger to ensure her soul isn't taken away. So, what do you think? Is your sister-in-law beautiful?" 0

Ignoring the groom, Wei Ning strode directly to Lin Lingsu. He pulled out the Peach Wood Sword from the Red Umbrella and coldly declared, "I am taking her with me now. Anyone who tries to stop me will face the consequences!" 0

The groom frowned and said, "Listen, I have been respectful to you because you are Ling's husband. Don't take my kindness for granted. Today is my wedding day, and I don't want any unpleasantness. Just leave." 0

A group of ghosts below began to stir, surrounding Wei Ning and preparing to pounce. 0

Wei Ning glanced at the multitude of ghosts surrounding him—there were thousands. This was Ghost Valley, shrouded in Evil Energy all day long, with no distinction between day and night. There was no chance of waiting for dawn for these demons and spirits to disperse. After his encounter with the Water Monkey, all his talismans had been soaked and rendered ineffective. If he forced his way through, he might truly end up buried here. 0

He touched Lin Lingsu's icy hand and thought: No matter what happens, even if it means death, I cannot leave Lin Lingsu in this ghostly place. I must take her away. 0

Resolutely, he bit his right finger until it bled and smeared the blood on the Peach Wood Sword. 0

This Peach Wood Sword was a treasured item passed down by Wang Tuozi and was crafted from spiritual wood, enhanced by Taoist magic, making it extremely effective against ghosts and demons. With Wei Ning's blood added, its power surged. 0

The groom's expression turned cold as he commanded, "Attack." 0

Several leading ghosts surrounded Wei Ning, ready to strike at any moment. 0

Wei Ning surveyed his surroundings; these ghosts bore wounds of all kinds—some had pierced chests or split bellies, others had their skulls opened or hearts ripped out. Many were riddled with arrows or skinned alive; none appeared whole. It was evident they had died from torture and could not reincarnate, leaving them filled with resentment as some of the most troublesome Evil Spirits. Ordinary talismans would struggle to subdue them. One ghost lost its head in the crowd but managed to find it on the ground and put it back on before rushing towards Wei Ning. 0

In this place thick with Evil Energy, even Wei Ning's magical artifacts seemed weakened. Given the circumstances, escaping unscathed was impossible—let alone carrying Lin Lingsu away. 0

Looking at Lin Lingsu's delicate face, Wei Ning gritted his teeth and shouted: 0

"Life nurtures all beings; humans repay with none of their virtues. Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!" 0

"Life nurtures all beings; humans harm all beings in defiance. Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!" 0

These words acted like a spell that erupted among the crowd of ghosts. The spirits began to stir; some started crying out in distress as those surrounding Wei Ning took a few steps back. 0

These lines were inscribed on the Seven Kill Stele atop a great tree, imbued with heavy killing intent. These were ghosts who had perished at Zhang Xianzhong's hands; the Seven Kill Decision could instill fear among them. Testing its effect by reciting it aloud proved successful. 0

Seizing the moment, Wei Ning swung the bloodied Peach Wood Sword at a Chest Piercing Ghost beside him and shouted as he struck—a single blow turned the Chest Piercing Ghost into a cloud of black sand that scattered in the wind. 0

The other spirits suddenly screeched and surrounded Wei Ning, but they were intimidated by his imposing aura and dared not launch a direct attack. 0

Wei Ning's Peach Wood Sword was stained with too little blood, lacking the murderous intent needed to subdue these spirits. What he required was a surge of killing intent; only with enough of it could he command respect from these entities. 0

Life nurtures all things for the sake of humanity, yet people still complain of its cruelty. 0

Unbeknownst to them, locusts ravage the land, causing suffering for both commoners and rulers alike. 0

In life, there are distinctions between the rich and the poor; the wealthy often receive favor and kindness. 0

Fortune and wealth in life are determined by status, while the poverty of commoners is met with scorn. 0

Wei Ning's killing intent surged as he recited the Seven Kill Decision, resembling a deity. The Peach Wood Sword transformed into a shadow of blood, slaying ghosts when encountering them and striking down Buddhas when faced with them. 0

To capture a thief, one must first capture their leader. Wei Ning directed his Peach Wood Sword toward the figure claiming to be one of the Eight Great Kings, a groom dressed in red. The sword pierced deep into his chest, and Wei Ning thought to himself that he had succeeded. 0

As their eyes met, it was like thunder clashing. However, to his surprise, the Peach Wood Sword that had pierced the Eight Great Kings did not manage to kill him. The Eight Great Kings twisted his hands, and from beneath his nails emerged long black claws about a foot in length, lunging toward Wei Ning. He quickly abandoned the Peach Wood Sword, rolled away on the ground, and swiftly formed hand seals to disperse two nearby spirits. 0

Having lost his Peach Wood Sword only intensified the spirits' momentum. With a wave of his hand, the Eight Great Kings summoned four headless Evil Spirits that rapidly surrounded Wei Ning in a spinning formation. Wei Ning pulled out his remaining four Peach Wood Nails from his pocket and shot them at the headless Evil Spirits, hitting them with precision. At that moment, however, the Eight Great Kings moved again; his steel-like claws shot toward Wei Ning like daggers. Wei Ning tilted his head just in time, but one claw pierced into his left shoulder. Blood gushed forth immediately, darkening as he realized he had been struck by Corpse Poison. 0

With blood dripping from the corner of his mouth, Wei Ning glanced back at Lin Lingsu, who stood there expressionless as if everything happening around him was irrelevant. 0

"I won't leave you here among these spirits for eternity," Wei Ning thought grimly as he recited the final line of the Seven Kill Decision: 0

"Command my four princes below; when breaking through the city, there’s no need to seal knives or daggers." 0

"On this mountain top stands this monument; those who oppose shall die standing or kneeling!" 0

The Evil Energy swirling around him felt almost tangible, sending chills down his spine. The Eight Great Kings let out a long howl as he withdrew the Peach Wood Sword embedded in his chest and tore open his wedding attire. To Wei Ning's shock, beneath it all was nothing but bone—his body devoid of flesh—leading the spirits in an assault against him. 0

Wei Ning drew out the few remaining Peach Wood Nails on him and fought off several spirits while retreating. Eventually, he found himself beside a large tree. Without his Peach Wood Sword and facing bare-handed combat, it wouldn't be long before he became a sacrificial offering for the newlywed Eight Great Kings. With a bitter smile, Wei Ning employed inner vision techniques to assess his physical condition and discovered he was nearing exhaustion—a state unsuitable for further bloodshed. Coupled with being afflicted by Corpse Poison, he was already at his limit. The Evil Energy seeped over him like cold water, leaving him shivering. 0

The spirits in Ghost Valley seemed to sense victory within their grasp as they began to screech excitedly in support of the Eight Great Kings. 0

"Must I really be buried here today?" 0

"Wei, starting tonight, I will begin teaching you the Five Thunder Palm." 0

"Really? Can I learn it right now?" 0

The old man nodded and said, "The Five Thunder Palm is not an ordinary technique, and the power of thunder is immense. Only those with great virtue can summon the thunder for their own use. So even if I teach you, whether you can use it in the future depends on your own fortune." 0

The old man paused and continued, "The Five Thunder Palm consists of five techniques: Thunder, Earth Thunder, Water Thunder, Demon Thunder, and Combat Thunder. When all five thunders strike together, their power can overturn the seas. It is not merely about symbols or incantations. It requires one's righteous energy and the spirit of the earth. The hand seals for the Five Thunder Palm are extremely complex. Today, I will first teach you the Great Thunderfire Seal. Pay close attention; I will only demonstrate it once." 0

"Yes, I will learn well." 0

"The Five Thunder Palm has very high requirements for Primordial Qi. You have only been practicing with me for a few months, and your Primordial Qi is severely lacking. Therefore, under no circumstances should you attempt to use the Five Thunder Palm. If you forcefully cast it and end up depleting your essence or even losing your life, do not blame me for not warning you." 0

Wei Ning gazed at Lin Lingsu, who still stood there like a petrified fairy, her pale face unable to conceal her stunning beauty. 0

"Regardless, I won't live past twenty-seven anyway. Today, I will fight to the death for her! Even if I cannot see her out of this place, I must kill this Ghost King to prevent her from suffering further humiliation from this Evil Spirit after her death!" 0

With a muffled groan, Wei Ning steadied himself, forming the Great Thunderfire Seal with his hands. He stepped on the Seven Stars and took seven steps forward. Pointing his Ziweijian at Horan, he chanted: "Thunderous Radiance, Thunderbolt Strike. With divine might unleashed, annihilate the Evil Spirit." 0
