Wei Ning coldly said, "Whether it can be broken or not is my business. If it can't be broken, it's only because of my lack of skill, and I can't blame anyone else. But does this have anything to do with you?" 0

The old man was stunned for a moment, then suddenly laughed heartily, "Good, good! What a proud child! The spirit of the Wei Family has not been lost; very good." 0

As Wei Ning engaged with the old man, his mind raced to find a way to break the 'Drawing a Boundary.' If Wei Ning guessed correctly, this formation should use the five elements to mutually attract each other, with "Wood," "Fire," "Earth," and "Water" representing the four beasts: Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird, White Tiger, and Black Tortoise. They formed the Azure Lock, Red Lock, White Lock, and Black Lock, which interlocked to create an exceptionally large barrier known as the Four Beasts Sealing Gate. To break it would require powers surpassing those of the Dragon's tail spirit, the Tiger's bite strength, the Tortoise's armor defense, and the Phoenix's lightness. It appeared to be a simple Killing Formation, yet it contained countless mysteries. 0

Thus, fighting head-on was impossible for Wei Ning, who had only opened two gates of Qi. Not only was breaking the formation out of reach, but if he made a mistake and triggered the Yin-Yang Cycle within this Killing Formation as the old man mentioned, it would turn into a deadly trap, leaving Wei Ning forever trapped inside. 0

Wei Ning remained silent as thoughts whirled in his mind searching for a way to break the formation. Seeing him quiet, the old man continued, "The great path is hard to seek, but there is no absolute dead end. Within destruction lies a chance for life; this is opportunity. Fortune and misfortune are but a thought away. Reincarnation repeats itself; one thought extinguishes and gives rise to another thought. This is the foundation of the Dao." 0

Wei Ning's eyes brightened as he realized that the old man was guiding him toward some profound understanding. It seemed he could grasp something elusive yet remained unable to pierce through that metaphorical paper window. 0

The old man smiled slightly and continued, "All things exist within the five elements. If the five elements are not balanced, then one's thoughts will be disturbed. Water and fire must be harmonized; metal and wood must be established; earth supports water; fire fuels metal and wood. When the five elements are balanced, evil spirits will be repelled." 0

A thought flashed in Wei Ning's mind: Aloe belongs to Wood and is located in the East. Matches belong to Fire and are in the South. Wet soil belongs to Earth and is in the West. The Metal Box belongs to Metal and is at the center. Rainwater belongs to Water and is in the North. However, A and B belong to Wood in the East; C and D belong to Fire in the South; E and F belong to Earth at the center; G and H belong to Metal in the West; I and J belong to Water in the North. It seemed that this was indeed a cycle of mutual generation among the five elements—a Bagua pattern that was stable without flaws. What he needed to find was that 'one life hidden within destruction.' As long as he found that point—one thought could give rise to myriad phenomena—the formation would collapse without any attack. 0

In fact, regardless of how many Killing Formations existed—thousands or tens of thousands—they all contained an internal Yin-Yang Cycle. With a Yin-Yang Cycle comes Taiji; thus there must exist a Yin Eye and Yang Eye. As long as he found this Tai Chi Eye, he would discover the fundamental way to break the formation. 0

The question was: where was this Tai Chi Eye? 0

In his view, since the Metal Box was at the center of this Killing Formation, it was most likely where the metal eye resided. However, precisely because this box was at its core, it also posed the greatest danger. A slight misstep could turn this formation into a deadly trap. Although Wei Ning usually appeared humble, he was actually very proud inside. The more trivialized by the old man this seemingly simple 'Drawing a Boundary' technique became, the greater its impact on Wei Ning felt. If he had to rely on the old man to personally resolve his predicament, it would be more painful than death itself for him. If he were to gamble on it, Wei Ning believed he had at least a fifty percent chance—at worst forming a deadly trap that would imprison him. 0

Resolutely determined now, Wei Ning stepped forward into an intersection of Yubu law with his feet while forming hand seals corresponding to Yin patterns. The green energy from his liver surged into his brain and emerged from his left eye like an azure dragon appearing on his left shoulder. With a loud shout, he formed another seal corresponding to Shen patterns; white energy from his lungs rose up and exited through his nose transforming into a white tiger standing proudly on his right side. His hands blossomed like lotus flowers as he formed another seal corresponding to Wu patterns; fiery red energy surged from his heart out through his mouth transforming into a Vermilion Bird above him that seemed ready to take flight yet remained grounded. Finally, he formed another seal corresponding to Zi patterns; purple-black energy from his kidneys rose up and exited through his left ear transforming into a Black Tortoise behind him as his companion. 0

The old man's expression changed three times as he nodded and said, "No wonder you are from the Wei Family. With just two forms of Qi, you can barely conjure the Four Spirits. A promising child, indeed." 0

"Gate of Earth, Ghost Gate, open!" Wei Ning shouted, forming the Ziwei Seal with his hands. The four spirits—blue, white, red, and purple—transformed into streams of energy and shot directly into the box. Wei Ning moved swiftly, taking out four pieces of Yama Paper and striking them against the Four Beasts Sealing Gate. The Metal Box changed colors in rapid succession, producing a sound like metal clashing in the stillness of the night. 0

After completing all this, Wei Ning felt as if he were about to collapse and wanted to sit on the ground. However, he held himself up with sheer willpower and walked step by step toward the boundary. It was only after he exited the boundary that his legs gave way, and he fell to the ground, drenched in sweat. 0

The Killing Formation had indeed been broken. 0

Wei Ning had always remembered the six words Wang Tuozi taught him during his first lesson on drawing talismans: "Leave the human gate, sever the ghost path." As long as a talisman was used, there would be a human gate left behind. By finding this gate, one could break the talisman. Just now, Wei Ning had transformed his Qi into the Four Symbols and injected them into what he believed to be the Tai Chi Eye. His goal was to reverse the cycle of the Five Elements: injecting the Azure Dragon from the east into the west; infusing the Vermilion Bird from the south into the north; placing the White Tiger from the south into its rightful position; and sending the Black Tortoise from the west back to its place in the east. This created a conflict among the Five Elements. In that moment of Yin-Yang reversal, he broke through a dead end and found the human gate, thus dismantling the entire Killing Formation. 0

To put it simply, it was indeed perilous. First of all, where he believed the Tai Chi Eye to be was merely a guess; if he was wrong, it would form a deadly trap that would forever imprison him—no divine being could save him. Secondly, given Wei Ning's level of power with just two forms of Qi, if his strength was insufficient, he could suffer severe consequences ranging from diminished essence to losing his very soul. 0

Fortunately for him, luck was on Wei Ning's side. Despite the dangers, he succeeded. 0

Wei Ning turned around, straightened his back, and said calmly, "If there is nothing else, I will take my leave." He began to walk away but had taken only three steps when suddenly he felt a sweetness in his mouth and spat out a mouthful of fresh blood. Everything went dark before him as his body collapsed to the ground. 0
