Yang Na turned to Lin Lingsu and said in a low voice, "Sister Lin, thank you for your help earlier. I will definitely repay you." 0

Lin Lingsu snorted coldly, pulling out a tissue to wipe the spot that had just been licked by the Blood Corpse. Her expression was blank, as if everything that had happened was unrelated to her. 0

"Do you know why we were all attacked, yet this monster only targeted you?" Yang Na asked Wei Ning. 0

Wei Ning remained silent, and Yang Na continued without concern, "It's because it can smell your scent. You share the same bloodline with it; in other words, it is your ancestor. Quite strange, isn't it? But it's the truth, and you must accept it." 0

"Not just him," Yang Na pointed to the other twelve Wax Corpses and said, "They are the same. One is already this powerful; imagine if all thirteen were unleashed. What could possibly withstand them? Back in the day..." Yang Na sighed and added, "Those were true masters." A complex expression appeared in her eyes. 0

"You just want to find a way to control these thirteen Blood Corpses, but unfortunately, you don't trust Wei," Lin Lingsu said lightly. 0

"Same here," Yang Na laughed heartily. "However, as long as we have Jin with us, no matter how powerful the Blood Corpses are, they are merely prey for him, right?" 0

Jin seemed to understand something from Yang Na's words and nodded seriously. Suddenly, Jin let out a piercing wail, its body began to contract and roll on the ground. Yang Na's expression changed drastically as she exclaimed, "Jin, what's wrong?" 0

From Jin's abdomen emerged ten long black claws that tore open a huge hole. The Blood Corpse crawled out of Jin's body, covered in various undigested animal remains. A foul stench filled the air, making everyone gag. 0

"Jin!" Yang Na suddenly let out a heart-wrenching scream, her eyes turning red as she shouted, "Damn it, I'm going all out with you today!" With that, she pulled out a knife and slashed at her arm's artery. Blood gushed forth like a fountain due to the pressure release. Yang Na then took out seven green snakes from her pocket and placed them on the wound. The snakes lunged at the blood eagerly. 0

Everyone was confused about what she was doing. They watched as the seven snakes slowly swelled up like balloons. With a loud shout, Yang Na flung the snakes toward the Blood Corpse. As soon as they touched it, they burrowed into its body! 0

Lin Lingsu's face changed three times in quick succession as she exclaimed, "Laoshan's Blood Worm Duel Spirit!" 0

It turned out that stimulated by Jin's death, Yang Na made a bold decision to use Laoshan's secret technique: Blood Worm Duel Spirit. This involved using her Seven Souls as bait through the green snakes to directly enter the Blood Corpse's body and engage in battle with it. Since this Blood Corpse was seemingly invulnerable, Yang Na had no choice but to confront its spirit directly—striking at its weak point. 0

In an instant, Yang Na's eyes glazed over as she became motionless like she had been struck by paralysis. 0

Of course, the greatest drawback of this Blood Worm Duel Spirit was that once the Seven Souls left their body, the consequences were dire. If Lin Lingsu were to interfere even slightly while standing nearby, Yang Na's Seven Souls would be unable to return to her body. From then on, she would likely become a wandering spirit. 0

Yang Na was not merely gambling with her life against the Blood Corpse; she was also wagering that Lin Lingsu would not strike from behind. 0

If Yang Na had not been pushed to the brink of fury, she would never have resorted to such a perilous spell. 0

This also revealed the deep, twisted bond between Yang Na and Jin, though it was unclear who was the aggressor and who was the victim. 0

The Blood Corpse's face shifted between black and white, leaving everyone wondering who could control this entity and become its new host. Lin Lingsu stood nearby, expressionless, but her peripheral vision constantly scanned Yang Na, while Wei Ning kept a close watch on Lin Lingsu. 0

If she were to attack Yang Na from behind, I would do everything in my power to stop her. 0

Suddenly, Lin Lingsu let out a cold snort and muttered, "Fool," though it was unclear whom she referred to. 0

At that moment, seven snakes emerged from the Blood Corpse, swiftly slithering toward the immobile Yang Na. She let out a muffled groan and spat out a mouthful of Black Blood, saying, "Impressive." 0

The Blood Corpse then lunged forward, its fingers aimed directly at Yang Na's spirit. Yang Na's pupils dilated; if the Blood Corpse's razor-sharp claws pierced her, it would surely be fatal. 0

"Don't!" Wei Ning cried out in alarm. In a moment of desperation, she formed a sealing gesture with her hands and shouted, "Seal!" 0

A miracle occurred—the Blood Corpse's claws halted just an inch from Yang Na's forehead. 0

Lin Lingsu's gun, Yang Na's spell, and Wei Ning's fire had all proven ineffective against the invincible Blood Corpse. Yet now, with the simplest sealing gesture from Wei Ning, it was immobilized! 0

Yang Na narrowly escaped death as beads of sweat dripped onto her blood-soaked suit. 0

Wei Ning quickly retrieved a black Chen State Talisman from Wu Haozi and pressed it against the Blood Corpse's forehead. It became as still as before. 0

"Truly impressive for the Chen Prefecture Wei Family. I am in awe," Yang Na regained her usual composure and calmness. She gazed tenderly at Jin's lifeless body on the ground. "What a pity for my Jin..." 0

"You don't believe in Wei. Back then, you picked up a life from the Thirteen Blood Corpses; consider yourself lucky. Losing a beast means nothing," Lin Lingsu said, her expression unchanged beneath the human skin mask. 0

Yang Na laughed, "That's true. To survive from the Thirteen Blood Corpses, I can definitely boast about it. However, it seems we will have to play that unfinished game again—because none of us can leave this place now." 0

"Why?" Wei Ning asked. 0

Yang Na sighed, "Logically, after you saved me multiple times, I shouldn't repay kindness with resentment. But the Suspended Mirror has been poisoned by me; whoever touches it will die. So, I'm sorry. But don't worry, once we reach the Underworld Road, I will repay you for saving my life." 0

"Isn't there any other way?" 0

Yang Na forced a smile, "No. In this world, only gold is immune to this kind of poison. Unfortunately, we don't have any gold." 0

It turned out that Yang Na had been so distraught earlier because Jin was dead, and she knew she wouldn't survive either. 0

Yang Na sighed again, "I wandered in front of the Ghost Gate just now and suddenly realized that being alive isn't so bad after all. It's just a pity..." 0

"Isn't there another exit? In such artificial places, there are usually hidden doors," Zhang Ye suddenly suggested. 0

"Everyone, let's search," Wei Ning said. 0

Wei Ning and Zhang Ye began to look for hidden doors while Wu Haozi lay immobilized due to his injuries. Lin Lingsu remained still as well; it was unclear what she was thinking. Was she really not afraid of death? 0

"You all won't find anything even if you search until you die. Watch me," Yang Na sighed. 0

She unbuttoned her suit, revealing that her body was covered in snakes. With a shake of her suit, thousands of snakes slithered out and began to scatter. 0

"I wonder if he is hiding among the snakes too?" Zhang Ye thought to himself with a grimace. 0

Not long after, Yang Na said, "Let's go take a look." She walked over to a spot, touched the ground with her hand, and exclaimed, "There's water!" The group immediately perked up; water meant there was a river, and a river indicated an exit. 0

"Let's dig." Zhang Ye took out the Luoyang Shovel, but the stone was too hard. When he struck it with the shovel, only a few faint marks were left; it was utterly ineffective. 0

"Let me try." Wei Ning pulled out the Fire Spirit Pearl from his pocket. The stone ignited in flames for a brief moment, and after the fire burned away, Wei Ning used the Luoyang Shovel to jab at it several times. It was indeed much softer than before. Each person took a turn with the Luoyang Shovel and began digging. 0

Before long, they could hear the sound of water. The group felt invigorated; the will to survive was immense. Except for the severely injured Wu Haozi, even Lin Lingsu joined in the effort to dig. After about an hour of work, they finally broke through to a passage that connected to the underground Yin River. 0

"Let's go." Zhang Ye and Wei Ning placed Wu Haozi into a waterproof sleeping bag, which Zhang Ye carried on his back. Wei Ning held a flashlight while Yang Na led the way and Lin Lingsu brought up the rear as they jumped into the Yin River. 0

The river was neither too deep nor too shallow; it reached just above their chests, allowing them enough space to breathe. They walked in the Yin River for over an hour before finally seeing light ahead. 0

The group felt a surge of joy; they wouldn't have to die after all. 0

Suddenly, Lin Lingsu let out a muffled grunt and fired her silver spear wildly ahead, shouting, "Yang Na, how despicable!" 0

Yang Na's laughter echoed back, "An eye for an eye, Sister Lin. I owe you one; I will definitely repay you." Her laughter grew fainter as she clearly ran off. 0

With a splash, Lin Lingsu fell directly into the river. Wei Ning quickly caught her around the waist and hurriedly ran toward the exit of the cave. The river's outlet was in an unknown ravine, leading to an expansive river ahead. 0

It was then that Wei Ning noticed that Lin Lingsu's entire leg had turned black and emitted a foul odor; she had clearly been bitten by Yang Na's snake. 0
