It is the father of this child, Zhou Xin! 0

Seeing the two of them, Zhou Xin smiled and said, "Why are you still awake at this hour? Didn't the Seven Days of Mourning end? It would be bad if you missed going home tomorrow." 0

Wang Tuozi sighed, "I actually guessed it was you a long time ago. The Killing Formation, using 'Yin Attraction' to harm Guo Cui—who else could do such things except someone very familiar with this house and close to these people? I just thought that even a tiger wouldn't eat its own cubs. I never expected there would really be a beast in this world that would kill his wife and child!" 0

"This bastard is not mine..." Zhou Xin realized he had let something slip and quickly stopped. 0

"Regardless, you have solid evidence of murder now. A death sentence would be well-deserved. Disciple, call 119 and report it." 0

Wei Ning remained silent. 0

Seeing that they had uncovered his secret, Zhou Xin decided to lay all his cards on the table: "So, what do you want?" 0

"Release that ghost and then turn yourself in to the police!" Wei Ning said. 0

Zhou Xin snorted coldly, "What a joke. Just the two of you? Don't forget this is my territory; on my turf, you have to listen to me!" 0

"Just based on your half-baked methods? What a joke," Wang Tuozi retorted. "Do you know who I am?" 0

"I don't care who you are. In any case, whoever ruins my plans will pay for it." 0

Wang Tuozi calmly replied, "My name is Wang Chuyi. I don't know if you've heard of me, but if you haven't, you shouldn't be in this line of work." 0

Wei Ning couldn't help but chuckle softly, thinking to himself, "You’re Wang Chuyi? I’m Qiu Chuji! This guy can't even lie properly." 0

To everyone's surprise, Zhou Xin's expression changed three times in quick succession as he blurted out, "Impossible, impossible! Everyone knows he... how could you possibly be him..." 0

Wang Tuozi calmly said, "Whether I'm real or fake is not for you to worry about. However, you must let me release this ghost today and then go to the police to confess. Otherwise, it wouldn't take much time for me to send you into a state of panic." 0

Zhou Xin chuckled, "Send me into a state of panic? Old man, you're being quite boastful. I want to see who ends up panicking!" He raised the measuring tool in his hand. 0

"Oh, come on!" Wang Tuozi placed a hand on his forehead, feigning exasperation. "Please, can you be a bit more professional? You call that a magical tool? The measuring tool is... sigh, I don't even want to argue with you. Please put it away; don't embarrass yourself further. It's fine if you drive me crazy, but please don't disturb your ancestors from their graves." 0

Zhou Xin glanced at him and realized that his magical tool had been seen through. A sense of unease crept into his heart; he understood that this old man was not just talking nonsense to deceive him. However, at this point, he had no choice but to tough it out. 0

With a loud shout to bolster his courage, Zhou Xin swung the measuring tool down at Wang Tuozi. 0

Wang Tuozi remained unhurried and shook his head. "Since you're so stubborn, today I'll show you what a real magical tool looks like." 0

He then pulled out five copper coins from his pocket, each one representing the colors red, orange, yellow, green, and blue. They surprisingly hovered in the air, with the middle coin perfectly aligned with Zhou Xin's measuring tool. 0

A dull sound echoed as Wang Tuozi's five copper coins remained unharmed while Zhou Xin's measuring tool snapped in two. 0

Wei Ning clapped excitedly from the side. Seeing his disciple display such skill made Wang Tuozi stand a little taller. 0

Zhou Xin realized the depth of Wang Tuozi's abilities and understood that he had no chance against this old man if he continued to fight head-on. In fact, Zhou Xin had initially intended to frame Wang Tuozi as one of the Bastards left behind in order to make the villagers believe they were responsible for his actions of killing his wife and child. 0

Who would have thought that things would turn out the opposite? 0

Now Zhou Xin felt immense regret. But… at this point, what could he do? 0

"In my next life, if I reincarnate as a Taoist priest, I must remember two things: first, keep my intentions pure; second, find the right master to learn from. Don't listen to those fake priests who mislead you. Keep your eyes open and learn from our Ning'er. Just look at her and then look at yourself—sigh, what a difference." 0

Wei Ning felt a surge of happiness as he listened to Wang Tuozi praise him. However, upon reflecting on Wang Tuozi's words, he realized something was off; it seemed that Wang Tuozi was not actually praising Wei Ning but rather subtly boasting about himself. 0

Suddenly, Zhou Xin shouted angrily, "Don't insult my master! It's my own lack of skill that led to my defeat at your hands. I accept that, but my master will seek revenge for me!" 0

"With your pathetic master's abilities, even ten of him wouldn't be enough," Wang Tuozi retorted mockingly. 0

"Today I admit my defeat. You can kill or torture me as you wish, but I will never let that bastard go. If I don't make him suffer, my hatred will never subside." 0

Wang Tuozi pieced together Zhou Xin's behavior and guessed, "So your wife was taken by someone else, and now you're feeling green-headed?" 0

Sure enough, Zhou Xin gritted his teeth and said, "Those two adulterers will not escape my wrath. In this lifetime, I will not rest until their souls are shattered!" 0

"Well then, I have to criticize you. You're a grown man who can't even keep an eye on your own wife. Blame yourself for being useless—who else can you blame? If it were me, I'd find a place to hang myself to avoid the shame." 0

"That's because I've been studying Dao Techniques; I haven't had time to deal with those matters between men and women." 0

Wang Tuozi made a gesture to stop him. "Can we please avoid using the term 'studying' in this context?" 0

Zhou Xin clenched his teeth, realizing his scheme had been exposed. With no reservations left, he recounted everything to Wang Tuozi. It turned out that Zhou Xin had always been very interested in Dao Techniques. However, these techniques were secretive and only passed down from master to disciple. For years, Zhou Xin struggled to find a mentor until about ten years ago when an old blind man visited his home. Recognizing Zhou Xin's affinity for Daoism, the old man taught him some spells and left behind a measuring tool before departing after three days. After that, he never returned. Zhou Xin became increasingly absorbed in his studies and gradually distanced himself from his wife. Unbeknownst to him, she could not bear the loneliness and began an affair with a young man from the neighborhood, resulting in the birth of a child named Zhou Kai. As a dutiful son, Zhou Xin feared his father would not accept the truth and silently acknowledged this illegitimate son. Little did he know that Guo Cui believed Zhou Xin to be weak and continued her affair, eventually giving birth to a second child with her lover. At that point, Zhou Xin could no longer hold back his anger. 0
