Acha's eyes were filled with misunderstood sorrow, her pitiful demeanor evoking sympathy.
However, Chu Donglin remained indifferent. The roaring dragon that swept through the long street howled fiercely, sending countless sharp debris flying, piercing the many vehicles stranded on the road.
Like a teleporting figure, the hem of her dress fluttered as the Enchantress moved, evading Chu Donglin's terrifying attacks that surged like a tide.
Yet the range of the roaring Tornado Stream expanded, drawing in more objects into its chaotic vortex. Soon, the vast stretch of the long street was almost completely engulfed by Chu Donglin's relentless assault, leaving Acha with less and less room to evade.
Feeling somewhat frustrated, Acha shouted and ceased her entanglement with Chu Donglin. She teleported out of his attack radius and appeared atop a tall building on the side of the street.
The cold moonlight illuminated her as she stood at the edge of the rooftop, looking down at Chu Donglin on the street below. With a hint of disappointment, she waved her fan lightly.
“Mr. Chu, you really are quite merciless. We have no deep-seated grudges; there’s no need for you to treat me this way.”
Chu Donglin snorted coldly. Seeing Acha retreat from the battlefield, he did not pursue her but instead controlled the swirling debris on the street to gradually come to a halt.
He tilted his head back, coldly gazing at the figure of the Enchantress above him. From his angle, Acha's long legs outside her Qipao were strikingly prominent.
The hem of her red Qipao danced gently in the cold wind. Despite it being a harsh winter where one would need to wear thick coats, Acha still donned such a light Qipao, as if her time had frozen in summer.
She was a bewitching woman. Every smile and movement was filled with an enchanting charm.
“Are you leaving Wocheng?”
Chu Donglin asked coldly while looking up at her. “Where are you going?”
Acha shyly covered her face, beaming with happiness. “Oh my, so Mr. Chu is actually concerned about me? Thinking about it this way makes Acha really happy~~”
Chu Donglin snorted coldly, refusing to waste any more words with her, and turned to leave.
"Hey? Mr. Chu, where are you going? Don't you want to chat a bit more with me? Aren't you curious about where I went after leaving Wocheng? You won't even stop to listen to me. How could you possibly know... Hey, hey! Don't go!"
Watching Chu Donglin's indifferent back as he walked away, Acha sighed and stretched lazily.
"What a boring man... not interesting at all."
With that, she glanced towards the east, lightly swaying the fan in her hand, a mischievous look on her face.
"Wocheng has lost its charm... Hmm... I guess I'll wander around elsewhere and come back to play with him another time."
When Acha turned back, Chu Donglin's figure had already vanished around the corner of the street.
Looking at the empty long street, she shrugged her shoulders, feeling a bit disappointed.
"Tch... he really couldn't even say goodbye... This cold-blooded man is truly disappointing."

Beep—beep—beep—
The sharp warning sound suddenly echoed throughout the moving convoy, causing the vehicles in the dark to come to an abrupt halt in unison.
As the monstrous figure blocking the highway appeared in front of them, Ban Guozhi in the command vehicle frowned at the image of the creature displayed on the large screen.
“Third-Stage Zombie? How is that possible…”
Before them stood a tall and ferocious Lizard, its massive body transformed by the virus to resemble a Dinosaur, with a gaping maw filled with sharp fangs.
Its Dark Red eyes fixed intently on the convoy that had intruded into its territory, emitting a hoarse Roar from its throat. A long tongue flicked out, leaving a trail of thick saliva on the ground.
This monster might have once been one of those weak, powerless reptiles that a human could easily crush underfoot. But now, under the virus's transformation, its body had grown as large as a long car, covered in scales that shimmered with a metallic sheen, boasting formidable defensive capabilities.
At that moment, the creature lay sprawled across the center of the highway, truly resembling a roadblock Dinosaur, intimidating and terrifying.
Faced with this obstructive beast, the soldiers reacted swiftly.
They quickly and steadily disembarked from the Armored Personnel Carrier, taking up advantageous shooting positions, their weapons aimed at the monster ahead. With just a command from the Commander, they would unleash a barrage of firepower to tear apart any enemies in their path.
Several Artillery units had even set up their Portable Launcher in record time, calibrating their targets for bombardment, ready to launch powerful Missiles at any moment.
The Four Tanks at the front of the convoy raised their massive cannons, preparing to unleash devastating firepower.
However, inside the command vehicle, the leader of the entire team, Ban Guozhi, was taken aback.
He stared at the monstrous roadblock ahead, his face filled with disbelief.
“How could there be a Third-Stage Zombie here?”
The evolution to a Third-Stage Zombie was exceedingly difficult; compared to a Second-Stage Zombie, the energy required for evolution was astronomical.
Indeed, each Third-Stage Zombie represented countless fallen Mutated Zombies. Without a sufficient base number of Zombies, it was impossible to evolve into a Third-Stage Zombie. This wasn’t Jiang Hai; there couldn’t possibly be any Zombies that transformed directly into High-Level Zombies.
If this area were a densely populated city, the appearance of a high-level Zombie would not be surprising at all.
However, here in the wilderness, with endless fields on both sides of the highway and no one around, it was hard to believe that a Third-Stage Zombie could possibly appear due to the lack of sufficient Zombie numbers.
Amid Ban Guozhi's astonishment, Shu Yuyao rushed toward a nearby display rack without hesitation.
On it were various types of firearms, almost resembling a high-end gun showcase.
Grabbing an Anti-Material Sniper Rifle from the rack, Shu Yuyao walked straight to the small window of the command vehicle, pulled open the glass, and leaned out half her body with the sniper rifle raised.
The dark muzzle of the sniper rifle was aimed at the roaring monster on the road ahead. Shu Yuyao's hand was calm and steady, as if she had practiced this action countless times before.
In stark contrast to her steady hand were her eyes.
Within those slender and beautiful eyes burned a fervent battle spirit, as if encountering a Third-Stage Zombie and being able to kill it with her own hands was an incredible stroke of luck for her.
That intense passion for combat left Ban Guozhi speechless beside her.
"This girl... eh..." (To be continued...)
