"Dear Zombie, could you tell me your name?"
The enchanting woman asked with a playful laugh, her every smile and frown imbued with an intoxicating charm that made one want to draw closer to her, to be affectionate towards her, allowing her to command and direct them, all for the sake of earning that exquisite smile.
However, Chu Donglin's expression remained calm and indifferent. Even though the woman before him was extraordinarily enchanting, she could not sway his mind.
He smirked mockingly, raising his right hand. The sharp objects that had previously slain numerous monsters flew up from the ground or emerged from the corpses of those creatures, hovering behind him, awaiting their next kill.
From a distance, countless sharp objects stained with a ghastly green blood stood suspended in the air, densely packed with a chilling aura.
This time, these rain-like weapons pointed towards the woman ahead, enveloping her enchanting figure and the monsters surrounding her within their attack range.
"Where is Liushan Shu? Where has he gone?"
Chu Donglin gazed at the mesmerizing figure of the enchantress ahead, his eyes cold and indifferent. "And what about the others in this camp? Where have they all gone?"
The woman named Fan covered her face, stifling a laugh behind her red lips.
"Do you really want to know?"
Her arched eyebrows resembled crescent moons, adorably mischievous, yet carrying a hint of playful malice.
She giggled at Chu Donglin, her laughter bright and cheerful, like a child reveling in a successful prank, about to deliver unfortunate news to the hapless victim of her trickery.
"If you want to know, I can tell you... but are you sure you want to hear it? The answer might not be very pleasant~~"
Under the watchful eyes of numerous monsters, Chu Donglin smiled coldly. Unmoved.
"Please."
A cold response. Just two words, lacking the hesitation and entanglement that a woman would expect.
Thus, a look of disappointment and boredom appeared on her face.
"Tch... turns out to be a dull fellow, utterly uninteresting."
Seemingly losing interest due to Chu Donglin, the woman casually grabbed a nearby creature and lifted it up.
This creature was about the same size as an ordinary human, its muscular body appearing much stronger than that of an average person. However, it preferred to crawl on the ground like a Frogman, which made it seem shorter.
As the woman hoisted the creature, its grayish-white belly was exposed to the air, and its fish-like, sinister head had two bulging eyes staring wide open. Despite being an evil and bizarre monster, it behaved submissively in front of the woman, not daring to make any unnecessary movements.
With a light toss, the creature, slightly bulkier than an average human, was effortlessly thrown over ten meters away, tracing a long arc in the air before crashing down at Chu Donglin's feet.
Thud—
As the dazed creature scrambled to get up, Chu Donglin kicked its head off, splattering dark green blood everywhere. The headless corpse struggled a few times before lying still at Chu Donglin's feet.
A look of astonishment appeared on the woman's face.
"Hey? Didn't you want to know where those people in this manor went? I brought them right to you; why did you kill it? Didn't you know this fellow is one of those transformed humans?"
Chu Donglin's expression stiffened as he instinctively glanced at the densely packed creatures surrounding him.
"These fellows are transformed humans?"
"What else would you think? Even I can't create new life out of thin air."
The woman giggled, gathering her fan and lightly tapping the ribs, producing a series of sharp sounds. "But you know, Deep Divers are still too weak. No matter how many you create, it doesn't really matter. In the end, they’re just trash that will be cleared away once you're bored. Feel free to kill them if you like."
With a playful smile, she placed her right hand on her hip and extended her left hand, signaling Chu Donglin to do as he pleased.
The pose, combined with her perfect and alluring curves, along with the form-fitting red Qipao she wore, created an enchanting presence that was intoxicating, making one instinctively want to draw closer to her.
However, Chu Donglin felt an increasing pain in his brow.
As he rubbed his aching forehead, he coldly stared at the enchanting woman before him, his gaze devoid of any fascination.
"Are you using an illusion on me? Trying to control me?"
The woman covered her face, displaying a sorrowful expression that seemed almost pitiful.
"Is it true that I look so ugly in your eyes? Do I need an illusion to make you think I'm beautiful? Oh... so this is how Mr. Zombie sees Nana? Nana is truly heartbroken..."
Chu Donglin snorted coldly and kicked away a monster that had crawled too close to him. The woman's pitiful demeanor did not sway him.
"Where are Liushan Shu and the others?"
He raised his right hand, and the countless sharp objects hovering behind him began to tremble slightly, ready to shoot out at any moment to eliminate all enemies ahead.
Yet in the face of Chu Donglin's threatening gesture, the woman showed no fear.
She merely wiped away nonexistent tears from the corners of her eyes, her face filled with sorrow.
"Do you still refuse to believe me? Do you think Nana is lying to you? But these Deep Divers really are those humans transformed..."
Suddenly, she seemed to remember something, clapping her hands in surprise, her face filled with joy.
"Ah! Nana has thought of something. Since you, Mr. Zombie, refuse to believe me, I will personally demonstrate how to turn a living person into a Deep Diver for you. Once you see how I do it, you'll believe me."
Giggling, the woman jumped like a child, her face radiant with delight.
"Fortunately, I kept that silly fool around because it was amusing. Now I have the perfect material... Dear Mr. Zombie, just wait a moment; I will show you right away."
Her delicate red lips parted slightly as if she were uttering some incantation.
Then the monsters around her froze for a moment. The ones at the edge nodded repeatedly, letting out hoarse and unpleasant shrieks before plunging into the water of the Lotus Garden with a splash, quickly disappearing.
"Don't worry; it will be ready soon."
The woman chuckled lightly, exuding an enchanting allure. Snow White's flawless thigh peeked out from beneath the high slit of her Qipao, shimmering enticingly.
The butterfly-shaped neckline of her dress was slightly open, revealing a deep and unsettling cleavage. The red Qipao was embroidered with beautiful patterns, accentuating her chest in a way that was both perfect and alluring.
Chu Donglin felt an increasing pain in his brow. (To be continued...)
