Raging Wind howled, white hair dancing in the air. 0

Chu Donglin stood atop White Wolf, coldly observing the strange monsters that surrounded him from all directions, raising his right hand. 0

In an instant, it was as if a chain reaction had been triggered, and the ground trembled with Madness. 0

Then, the solidified concrete and resilient Rebar flew up from the earth, forcibly shattered and stripped into countless fragments that transformed into sharp objects. These, mixed with the tough Rebar, floated in the air, suspended all around. 0

The monsters emitted restless roars; their bodies twisted and grotesque, exuding an evil and chilling aura. Yet, faced with the multitude of suspended debris, they were filled with unease. 0

Chu Donglin's killing intent was cold and pervasive, enveloping the entire long street. 0

As he swung his right hand downwards, countless floating concrete shards, Rebar, and more sharp objects shot towards the bizarre monsters encircling him. 0

From a distance, it appeared as though a terrifying barrage had bombarded an area of several dozen meters. Countless sharp stones and Rebar rained down, stirring up a cacophony of shrill screams among the horde of monsters. 0

Foul blood splattered everywhere—not the common red of living beings but a strange and repulsive green, reeking with stench. 0

In this world, there exists something known as level suppression. 0

In this desolate Abandoned City, Chu Donglin, as a Third-Stage Zombie, stood nearly at the pinnacle of the entire city. 0

Even though these monsters before him were bizarre and evil, filled with a dark and chilling aura, they were entirely different from Zombies. 0

Yet before a Third-Stage Zombie, they were weak and utterly defenseless. 0

As the countless fragments rained down like a torrential storm, these strange creatures stretched their necks and emitted harsh, grating cries before being annihilated by Chu Donglin on the spot. 0

Countless sickly green liquids splattered out, mingling with the sharp stone fragments that fell onto the mottled street, filling the air with a sense of devastation. 0

The once smooth road had become pockmarked and uneven due to Chu Donglin's destructive actions, with cracks appearing everywhere. 0

However, no matter how bumpy the road was, it made no difference to White Wolf. If Chu Donglin needed it, White Wolf could even carry him as if running up walls, darting past the tall buildings lining the street. 0

Yet this "running up walls" speed was not particularly fast. At least compared to White Wolf's normal running speed, it was much slower. 0

Amidst the biting cold wind, Chu Donglin chose not to look at the bizarre monsters strewn across the street, commanding White Wolf to continue toward the resort where Liu Xiner was located. 0

However, as White Wolf surged forward once more, the fierce wind generated by its high-speed dash tousled Chu Donglin's white hair, and he froze in place atop White Wolf. 0

Laughter. 0

As White Wolf took off running, he heard a strange laugh. 0

A woman's laughter drifted in with the wind, carrying an odd aura that made Chu Donglin furrow his brow. 0

Yet when he turned to look around, all he could see were the empty sides of the long street; there was no sign of any woman. 0

He almost thought he was hallucinating. 0

"Hehe..." 0

It rang out again. 0

Dreamlike. Ethereal and enchanting. 0

A sudden burst of carefree laughter appeared on Chu Donglin's face. 0

"Hahahahahaha... Hahahahahaha... Hahahahahaha..." 0

The carefree and hearty laughter echoed down the street, filled with overwhelming confidence and unrestrained dominance. No matter how many monsters lay ahead, it seemed destined to sweep everything away. 0

... 0

... 0

Wu's body was rigid. 0

He stared at the corpse slowly floating in the Blood Pool, observing the pale face that had been soaked white, his expression chilling as he instinctively tightened his grip on the gun. 0

He looked around at everyone, but when his gaze swept over them, the once-trusted companions now wore expressions of terror, instinctively distancing themselves from him. 0

After scanning the faces of the crowd, he realized that everyone had retreated several meters, surrounding him before the Blood Pool. 0

Wu's expression turned somber. 0

"Are you afraid of me?" 0

He looked at the people in front of him, frowning tightly. 0

Yet in response to Wu's question, they merely averted their eyes, unable to meet his gaze, offering no answer. 0

Wu took a deep breath and suddenly reached out with both hands, dragging the corpse from the Blood Pool. 0

Splash— 0

As the heavy corpse was dragged out, dark red, viscous blood surged from the Blood Pool, splattering all over Wu, who stood nearby. 0

However, Wu paid no attention to the blood that stained his clothes. 0

He crouched in front of the pale corpse, casting a cold glance at everyone present before drawing a dagger from his waist. 0

“Captain... what are you going to do?” 0

A group of people looked on in shock as Wu aimed the dagger at the pale body. 0

Wu regarded them with indifference and gently pierced the dagger into the corpse's chest. 0

“Let’s open it up and see what’s going on with this body.” 0

Before anyone could react, Wu pulled hard, creating a long gash across the corpse's chest. 0

Instantly, colorful entrails and intestines spilled out onto the ground. 0

Mixed with the flowing innards was a thick, sticky liquid. 0

Wu furrowed his brow and extended his right hand, searching through the entrails for something unusual. 0

However, he was unsuccessful. 0

After rummaging through the corpse's insides for a long time, his hands became coated with the viscous liquid and blood, yet he found nothing. 0

The foul stench of decay filled his nostrils. Wu instinctively raised his head to glance at the others, only to find them all focused intently on his dissection. 0

Then Wu saw a glimpse of red... 0

At the edge of the square, behind the crowd, something red peeked out from the dark thicket. 0

In this dim light that blurred the line between black and color, that hint of red stood out remarkably. 0

Wu was stunned. 0

A look of astonishment spread across his face. 0

Because he realized what it was—a corner of the hem of a dress. 0

However, just as Wu was about to take a closer look, that corner of the hem suddenly vanished, retreating back into the thicket. 0

Then, once again, he heard the eerie laughter that had echoed in his ears before. 0

"Hehehe..." 0

The enchanting yet strange laughter of a woman seemed to be right next to him, yet also felt distant, ethereal and far-reaching. It carried an inexplicable chill that made his hair stand on end and his body tremble. (To be continued...) 0
