Indeed, at that moment, I had completely forgotten about the fact that I had just killed a Dinosaur, and not just any dinosaur, but a mutated, enhanced version that was likely the strongest in history. The only thing on my mind was the relief of no longer feeling like a pile of dung.
People who live mundane lives often envy those of us who wander through life, constantly struggling on the edge of survival, believing that such a life is perfect and filled with endless stories. Little do they know that those adventurous tales are often the most painful memories for people like us. The truly happy ones are those who live in peace.
For instance, I find myself reminiscing about my past life. At the moment I survived, I felt no surge of adrenaline; all I felt was an overwhelming fatigue.
For us, who carry our heads by our belts, simply being alive is the most beautiful thing imaginable—at least that's what I thought.
There seemed to be a sense of Fate at play. Soon enough, they dragged me out from the bloody belly of the Dinosaur. When I finally took my first breath of fresh air, I felt my entire body relax.

I didn't even know why I was laughing; perhaps it was just the exhilaration of having emerged from the belly of a Dinosaur that made me unable to help myself!

Her eyes, like cold stars—eyes that had ensnared me from the very first glance—were now streaming with tears. They fell in torrents, like a dam bursting, splashing against my face with a chilling touch.
For a moment, I was completely stunned because I had never seen Wan like this!
She was genuinely joyful; it was rare to witness her in such a state...
But then she did something even more astonishing!
In front of everyone, Wan suddenly hugged me tightly and buried her face against me as she cried loudly. I could feel her delicate body and the coldness of her skin; I could also sense her body trembling gently.
Her sobs grew louder, clearly indicating that she had reached a breaking point.

Since I was lying below her, I could see the strange expressions on Qingyi and the others' faces. But I felt no embarrassment; all I wanted was to hold her close. Perhaps only my warmth could soothe her at this moment!
The tears of a woman can truly melt everything, even the heart of a diamond forged in fire.
Time passed slowly, and the bowl finally began to calm down.
At that moment, Xiao Xiao, feeling a bit awkward and shy, shrugged her shoulders and said, "Alright, you two have reunited after the ordeal. I really shouldn't interrupt at this time, but he’s injured badly and needs to be bandaged quickly!"

I forced a bitter smile; I didn't need to look to know that my back was severely lacerated. The barbs on the Tyrannosaurus Rex's tongue had certainly done their damage. It must be serious; otherwise, they wouldn't have such expressions on their faces.
Zhengyang took disinfectant powder from his backpack and immediately started spraying it on my back. The pain was so intense that I couldn't help but bite down hard on Bald Qiang's thigh. He yelped in agony but didn’t pull away; instead, he gritted his teeth and bore it, beads of cold sweat forming on his forehead—after all, he was afraid I might bite my own tongue!
Pain and excessive blood loss
As Zhengyang treated my wounds, my consciousness began to fade. I knew I couldn’t hold on much longer. I seemed to be trapped in an endless dream filled with darkness—sometimes cold and sometimes hot—extremely uncomfortable. In this dreamlike state, I didn’t know how long I struggled until finally opening my eyes again to find myself lying in a gloomy forest.
"Brother Xia! You’re finally awake!"
