To my surprise, there were murals here, a revelation that could shake the world. Honestly, I was instantly captivated! Atlantis, the Atlantis Civilization—her words hinted that the civilization of Atlantis had been preserved through murals! If I could see that mural, it would likely bring to light a history long denied by humanity in the Fifth Civilization Era. At the very least, I could uncover what had truly happened in ancient Atlantis. If luck was on my side, I might even learn the purpose of Sauron and Dong Tong's visit! 0

My breath grew heavy as I stared at her and asked, "So, do you know what they did after they went to your Homeland?" 0

"They didn't linger in Homeland; they passed through it to the ends of the galaxy, to the birthplace of the Holy Light Civilization, which is the former capital of Atlantis—Poseidonia!" She lowered her head as she spoke, sadness evident in her eyes. "Unfortunately, while our Homeland was being trampled upon, we could only watch helplessly and endure the humiliation..." 0

After hesitating for a moment, I decided to voice my thoughts directly: "Can you take us to your Homeland?" 0

She remained silent, clearly hesitant. It seemed that their Homeland was incredibly important to them. "Regardless, we need to go there!" I emphasized, feeling anxious about potentially angering her in this delicate situation and ruining everything. However, this was necessary; I had to make this request. After some thought, I softened my tone and explained, "I've already told you that our main purpose for coming here is to track down those two who first arrived. Wherever they go, we will follow! I can assure you that we will not act recklessly in your Homeland!" 0

She raised her head and looked at me seriously. "Can I trust you?" 0

"What do you think?" I forced a smile. "If I had ulterior motives against you, would I still be standing here negotiating calmly under your weapons?" 0

She didn't respond, and I patiently waited. Time seemed to freeze at that moment; my anxiety grew. If she refused, I truly didn't know what to do! All I could do was hope. The ten minutes felt unusually long; despite the cold underground air, I was sweating profusely. Finally, she made a decision and looked up at me. "I hope you're not deceiving me; otherwise, with all the strength of my clan, I'll ensure you stay here!" 0

"Let your friends come out, especially that old lady hiding over there!" My heart raced upon hearing this; she had already sensed my intentions. It seemed they genuinely intended to cooperate this time. I gestured for them to come out. 0

"Hey! If you're going to die, do it yourself! Don't think you can trick me out!" Big Mouth Lee's loud voice rang out as soon as my signal dropped. He obediently followed Zhengyang after receiving a fierce glare. 0

But caution must not be discarded! Leading the way was Serpent King. Along the way, I subtly probed into their situation. Initially cautious, she eventually opened up when she realized my questions weren't life-threatening. This allowed me to learn quite a bit. 0

In fact, they were indeed descendants of Atlanteans! The fall of the Atlantis Civilization occurred around nine thousand years ago; however, aside from the first generation who survived by chance, subsequent descendants became increasingly disconnected from their heritage. Their cultural knowledge was fading away with each generation until her time when they barely retained any semblance of civilization—living instead like primitive tribes in a state of mere survival. 0

Due to this loss of civilization, they could no longer decipher the murals left behind in Homeland and only retained their language through oral tradition to record their experiences over these nine thousand years since Atlantis sank. Thus, she wasn't very clear about the once-glorious prehistoric Quaternary super civilization; all she knew was that they were great descendants of Atlantis who sank beneath the sea for some unknown reason over nine thousand years ago. 0

However, during its sinking, it seemed something protected Poseidonia—the capital of Atlantis—so after Atlantis submerged, Poseidonia wasn't engulfed by water and mud like other cities. Miraculously, a small portion of its inhabitants survived without being killed during the collapse! These survivors were their ancestors! 0

For reasons unknown, this small group did not rebuild their city in Poseidonia but instead excavated an Underground World from beneath the mud at its depths! The ruins we saw in the Underground World were remnants of other cities of Atlantis; unfortunately for those cities—unlike Poseidonia—they lacked protection and were swallowed by water and mud. Many ruins found by scientists searching for Atlantis likely belonged to these other cities! 0

As for what she referred to as Homeland—it was actually where her ancestors first dug out the Underground World after leaving Poseidonia; it was located right next to Poseidonia's entrance! Perhaps when her ancestors left Poseidonia, it was also meant as a warning for future generations; they recorded Atlantis's civilization and history through murals at that location. Unfortunately, their efforts proved futile as their descendants had long forgotten their once-great civilization and glory and could no longer understand the murals left behind! 0

Initially, they had been excavating underground ruins for food amidst those remnants because living underground for so long caused changes in their eyes and height—similar to cave dwellers—they became shorter and sensitive to light! 0

I found their lengthy evolution fascinating and engaged deeply in conversation about it until I lost track of time. As we talked while walking further along together, she suddenly stopped and said to me: "We've arrived at my tribe; beyond my tribe lies our Homeland." 0
