From the ice cores and sediment samples collected from the Antarctic region, more information about ancient climates has been revealed. Over the past 150,000 years, Antarctica has experienced two warm periods, occurring approximately 10,000 years ago and around 6,000 years ago, when Antarctica was not yet at its warmest.
How long has Antarctica been frozen? Initially, scientists believed it had been for no less than a million years, but now they estimate it to be between 6,000 and 10,000 years.
However, historian Sergei Manukov, who specializes in historical artifacts, believes that Piri was able to create his map based on firsthand materials dating back to at least 4,000 B.C. This is hard to believe since the first civilization appeared in the Mesopotamian Plain only around 3,000 B.C., with Chinese and Indian civilizations emerging over a thousand years later. So, could there have been even older civilizations?
In 1957, the United States Naval Hydrographic Office conducted a thorough study of this map. Experts unanimously agreed that General Piri used a tracing method to create it; however, even transferring data from old maps to a globe allowed him to correct several errors present in modern maps. How could he achieve such precision?
Further research by Professor Charles Hapgood from Keene State College in New Hampshire suggests that Piri may have utilized spherical trigonometry theory that emerged in the mid-18th century when creating his map. This Turkish general likely had at least some understanding of the Earth's curvature.
During the Age of Discovery, sailors often spoke of ancient maps that indicated lands unknown to many; only a few navigators possessed such maps. For instance, Saint Columbus used one of these maps of the Americas. In summary, it becomes clear that Piri's map and other incredible maps are merely sections of an overall ancient world map created by cartographers from times long past who possessed highly precise instruments and extensive knowledge.
Thus, there was a primitive stage of geography in human history that preceded human evolution and technological advancement. But where and by whom was it created? Charles Hapgood believed it could only represent a highly developed civilization that perished 100,000 years ago—possibly the inhabitants of Atlantis.
Just weeks before his death, Hapgood reported this hypothesis to then-President John F. Kennedy and requested the organization of an expedition to search for Atlantis; the president even scheduled a meeting with him. However, Kennedy was assassinated in November, causing this meeting to fall through.
Hapgood firmly believed that Atlantis was not merely a myth or nonsense from the ancient Greek philosopher Plato. Through geological research, he discovered that the Earth's crust had shifted southward by 1,000 kilometers around 10,000 B.C., likely due to a global catastrophe caused by a collision between Earth and a large planet.
After obtaining Piri's map, he became even more convinced of his theory: Atlantis was located not elsewhere but in Antarctica. Hapgood published his conclusions in "The Map of the Sea Kings," stating: "Mr. Piri's map and other similar maps prove that there was an intelligent nation ahead of all known peoples in history."
Scenes of prehistoric civilizations rising and falling replayed continuously in my mind.
Among all the speculations made by scientists, the most intriguing is Atlantis's energy system.
This energy system can absorb light energy and ultimately convert it into immense power to supply the entire Atlantis. This technology is undoubtedly something that makes all current nations envious. Humanity has already begun to explore solar energy, but it is still in its infancy, limited to basic applications like solar water heaters, which are entirely different from the concept of Atlantis Civilization. It is precisely because they possess the most advanced light energy technology that their civilization is referred to as the "Light Civilization."
In this era of energy warfare, whoever can master Atlantis's light energy system will undoubtedly be recognized as the "God" of today's world!

For this reason, since the name Atlantis entered human consciousness, the search for Atlantis has never ceased. Unfortunately, to date, aside from discovering some scattered ancient ruins on the seabed of the Atlantic, nothing else has been found.

This isn't just my wild speculation; it's backed by scientists. Russian historian and archaeologist Nikolai Toropov and others believe that long before Antarctica was discovered, medieval geographers also believed there was a continent in its location. Moreover, while Charles Hapgood argued that rapid tectonic shifts caused Antarctica to move 1,000 kilometers, serious scientists have not validated his claims. Additionally, geologists lack evidence to prove that Earth experienced a great catastrophe around 1,500 years ago, and the widespread tales of a great flood in the Near East and other Mediterranean regions are not remnants of a disaster affecting Antarctica. It is estimated that these tales are not without basis; thousands of years ago, waters from the Mediterranean indeed flooded through the Bosphorus Strait into the Black Sea, submerging low-lying areas nearby.
In summary, there is still significant debate on this issue unless one side can drill through Antarctica's ice layer and retrieve something like a textbook written in cuneiform detailing how to construct pyramids.
Bald Qiang simply stated, "Although it's hard to believe, we have no choice but to make this bold assumption that beneath the Drake Passage lies the ruins of Atlantis Civilization!"
I frowned and asked Bald Qiang, "What is the purpose of that organization?"
"It's hard to say, but I suspect it likely relates to Atlantis's energy!"
Then there was silence; they did not speak further. It was clear that this mission was truly fraught with danger! A shadow loomed over my heart.
After Atlantis sank, what happened to the millions of people on the continent? Moreover, I heard that Atlantis had domesticated many prehistoric monsters!
In short, it is difficult to fathom what this advanced civilization has left behind, and what awaits us in those ruins of civilization is also uncertain.
