As I opened the door, a rush of cold air hit me, making me shiver involuntarily. 0

I frowned and continued inside, but my feet slipped on the slick floor. 0

Looking down, I noticed the floor was very damp, with large patches of water stains. 0

The spacious living room was empty, devoid of any electronic devices; there was only a water bed and some decorations like starfish and seashells. 0

Surrounding the area were numerous small potted plants. 0

A wooden drip fountain continuously dropped water into a fish pond embedded in the floor, producing a crisp sound. 0

At first glance, it resembled a watery paradise. 0

I scoffed; these two were quite romantic! 0

“Brother An, you’re here?” 0

A captivating and alluring female voice came from the master bedroom at the back. 0

I took a deep breath, snapped a twig in anger, and marched over. 0

I was determined to see what this mistress looked like! 0

As soon as I pushed the door open, I was left dumbfounded. 0

There was no bed in the master bedroom; instead, there was an enormous glass fish tank. 0

In the fish tank, there lay a Mermaid I had only seen on television. 0

Her large blue tail swayed gently. 0

The Mermaid was lazily soaking in the bathtub, fiddling with a waterproof phone. 0

Damn it, that scumbag Liu An abandoned me and our child, and here he was, lounging with a fish! 0

Wait, this was the first time in my life I had ever seen a real Mermaid! 0

For a moment, I didn't know whether to confront the mistress or take a selfie with the Mermaid to post on social media. 0

"Who are you? How did you get in here?" The Mermaid stared at me warily. 0

I tried to calm myself down. "I am your Brother An's wife, the mother of his future child." 0

The Mermaid chuckled lightly and looked me up and down. "So you're the Yellow-Faced Woman. No wonder Brother An doesn't want you." 0

My anger flared up instantly. Damn it! I hated being called a Yellow-Faced Woman more than anything else in this life. 0

"Then let me show you what a Yellow-Faced Woman's temper is like!" 0

I didn't care whether the Mermaid was dangerous or not; I charged at her, grabbing her seaweed-like hair and dragging her out of the water. I slammed her heavily onto the ground and stepped on her face. 0

The Mermaid let out a piercing scream, struggling in vain as I unleashed my fury upon her. 0

Her deep blue tail, once out of the water, was nothing but beautiful and utterly useless. 0

I peeled off a scale and waved it in front of the Mermaid. 0

"I don't care whether you're human or fish; you better behave, or if you provoke me, I have plenty of ways to make your life worse than death." 0

Seeing the Mermaid struggling to call Liu An, I snorted and tucked the scale into my pocket. 0

"The Brother An you cherish like a treasure is just an old man to me. You can have him if you want. But if you have any ulterior motives, don't blame me for what happens next." 0

I forced myself to suppress my trembling hands and straightened my back as much as I could. 0

Looking at the Mermaid's resentful gaze, I spat and turned to leave. 0

Not long after I got home, Liu An stormed in, pointing his finger at me and cursing, even grabbing a bowl to throw at me. 0

"Did you go see Xiao Lan?" 0

I dodged slightly, and the porcelain bowl shattered on the floor into pieces. 0

I stared blankly at the broken bowl on the ground. 0

This set of furniture was something Liu An and I had bought when we got married; I never expected it would one day become a weapon he used against me. 0

Snapping back to reality, I met Liu An's questioning gaze. 0

"Is ' Xiao Lan' the name you gave her? I've been pregnant for so long, and you never thought about what to name our child!" 0

My heart felt as cold as ice. 0

I was Liu An's first wife; after all those years of struggling together, there should have been some bond between us, even if it wasn't romantic. 0

But what did he do? He sweet-talked me into becoming a housewife and then started flirting with a fish just as our child was about to arrive. 0

Is he even a man? 0

He's worse than an animal! 0

After a long silence, Liu An finally spoke, "Lulu, let's get a divorce." 0

"You haven't taken care of yourself over the years; honestly, I've long lost my feelings for you." 0

"There were no women I was interested in before, so I settled for living with you." 0

"But now I've met Xiao Lan and rediscovered the taste of love. I really can't force myself to continue this marriage." 0

I couldn't help but laugh in anger. 0
