The ghost stared blankly at the furious Ye Xiu and scoffed, "Mage?"
Then her expression changed instantly, her face lighting up with curiosity as she asked, "Is it tasty?"
All she could think about was food. This gluttonous ghost left Ye Xiu feeling helpless; he would have preferred to encounter a bloody ghost instead—at least they would be fulfilling their role as a proper ghost.
Coughing, he thought to himself that maybe it was better if that bloody ghost didn’t show up after all.
"..." Ye Xiu found himself charmed by the adorable ghost. His anger dissipated. "Why do you still want to bite me?"
"Because I'm a ghost!"
What an adorable little thing!
"Listen, I'm a Mage. Mages are specifically meant to hunt ghosts like you and eliminate your kind."
The ghost's demeanor changed as fear crept in, and she took a few steps back from Ye Xiu.
