After they left, I stayed alone in the county town for three days. During this time, I first helped the White Alliance handle his grandfather's funeral, and then the military orders came down. That ghost stayed with me until I turned ten. One night when it came out, it encountered a group of strange people and got into a fight with them. I didn't see the outcome at that time; all I knew was that the ghost left me and followed those strange people deep into Baishan Village.
I thought I was free, but whenever I tried to leave the county town, it would appear before me and forcibly bring me back. It even harmed my grandfather.
The reason my grandfather ended up like that is because of the ghost beside me. So I want to learn Taoist Magic to find that ghost and kill it to avenge my grandfather and my biological parents."
At this point, White Alliance's eyes erupted with intense killing intent. He turned around and knelt before me with a serious expression, saying, "Jiang Ling, as long as you are willing to teach me Taoist Magic, you can do whatever you want."
After hearing White Alliance's description, I was momentarily taken aback. This matter involved too many elements; just listening to White Alliance's account alone made it impossible for me to discern the truth from falsehood. If everything White Alliance said was true, then the situation would be quite complicated.

Based on the description of the White Alliance, I suspect that the ghost beside him is likely a companion Soul. This type of Soul typically has a history of wrongdoing in life, and after death, they carry too much karma, which results in their loss of the chance to be reincarnated as a good person.
These kinds of ghosts are unwilling to accept the judgment of the Underworld Judge, so they secretly cause trouble, hiding next to other Souls waiting for reincarnation. They wait for the right moment to forcibly merge with those Souls, thereby evading the Underworld's scrutiny and being reborn as humans once again.
However, the consequence of this method is that these ghosts merely become attachments to the Newborns. They cannot harm the Newborn's life or control their body; in fact, if the Newborn encounters danger, they must intervene to save them.
This reincarnation technique is rather ineffective and rarely used by ghosts. If ten thousand ghosts attempt this method, at most only ten will succeed; the rest will either perish at the hands of Underworld Officials or be eliminated by Taoist Masters from the Yang Realm, leaving them unable to survive for long.
The situation with the White Alliance is somewhat special. After he removed his clothing and turned his back to me, I initially saw nothing unusual.
