In these four Military Training Teams, only male freshmen from our academy and the College of Civil Engineering are present. In contrast, the Military Training Teams from the School of Humanities and Technology and the School of Media Arts are filled with pure and adorable Cute Girls. 0

One of my buddies beside me swallowed hard, ran his hand through his hair, and said with a lewd expression, "Wow, I didn't realize there were so many beauties in our school. I need to ask for a few phone numbers later." 0

He glanced over at the two nearby Military Training Teams, searching for potential targets. However, he soon spotted someone special. His eyes widened, and he swallowed again, excitement evident on his face as he exclaimed, "Oh my, long legs, black long hair, a devilish figure—this must be Zhu Caini! Wow, I even watch Zhu Caini's livestreams; I'm a hardcore fan! I can't believe I’m seeing her in person!" 0

"Zhu Caini is really beautiful, even more so than on her livestreams," he finally managed to say after a moment. Immediately afterward, he unabashedly stared at Zhu Caini, his eyes sparkling with satisfaction. 0

I followed his gaze. Although I had never watched Zhu Caini's livestreams before, she stood out in the crowd as exceptionally mature and eye-catching. Even without having seen her before, I could easily recognize her. 0

I took a careful look at Zhu Caini and nodded lightly to myself, muttering, "No wonder Zhu Caini is more famous than Wu Jie; just based on her looks alone, even if Wu Jie underwent plastic surgery, she wouldn't compare." 0

After watching for a while, I shifted my gaze back. However, my fellow otaku continued to stare at Zhu Caini in the distance. If it weren't for the no-phone policy during Military Training, I bet they would have rushed over to take pictures with her immediately. 0

After about seven or eight minutes, the instructors responsible for Military Training finally arrived. The four instructors were dressed in neat military uniforms and looked quite young; the oldest among them was only twenty-nine. Leading our academy was a twenty-six-year-old instructor named Wang Yasheng, who was the oldest among the four. 0

Wang Yasheng marched up to the front of our line with a crisp and powerful stride. He saluted us and said loudly, "Hello everyone! My name is Wang Yasheng, and I will be your instructor. For the next two weeks, I will lead you in training. If anyone has questions for me, feel free to ask now." 0

Some students noticed Wang Yasheng's friendly expression and felt encouraged to speak up. One of them smiled and asked, "Instructor Wang, can we train in a cooler place? It's so hot right now; I don't want to faint from heatstroke. Plus, my skin is so fair that I easily get sunburned." 0

Wang Yasheng smiled and nodded at that student before saying, "Is there anyone else who wants to share their thoughts? Don't hesitate; otherwise, you might not get another chance." 0

Seeing that Wang Yasheng wasn't angry eased the tension among the other students. More classmates began to voice their opinions one after another, turning the entire group into a lively chatter without any semblance of discipline. 0

A chubby student looked into Wang Yasheng's eyes, pouting in dissatisfaction as he spoke, "Instructor Wang, I think the timing for our Military Training is a bit off. We have to gather at seven in the morning; that's way too early. Back home, I used to sleep until noon." 0

Nearby, someone nodded in agreement and added, "Exactly, Instructor Wang. You should end the Military Training earlier too. Training until eight in the evening means we’re training for thirteen hours straight; that’s just impossible. If we keep this up, we’ll probably be exhausted in no time." 0

No matter what the students demanded, Wang Yasheng maintained a calm smile on his face. However, after seeing that smile, I couldn't shake off a strange feeling of discomfort. 0

I glanced at the others around me and noticed they were still voicing various demands to Wang Yasheng, with some even suggesting they wanted to skip Military Training altogether. I shook my head in disbelief and muttered to myself, "These people must be out of their minds! How dare they say so much in front of Wang Yasheng? They'll regret it later." 0

After about ten minutes, most of the students had voiced their requests. At this point, no one spoke anymore; all eyes were fixed on Wang Yasheng at the front of the line. 0

"Very well," he began, looking at those who had made the most demands. A cold glint flashed in his eyes as his smile vanished instantly. His expression turned serious as he spoke in a chilling tone, "You all might not understand the situation yet. You are here to train. Why is it called Military Training? It’s to train you like soldiers. So you need to understand one thing: obedience." 0

"I don’t want to hear your demands; I won’t concern myself with them. Put away your little schemes. And remember this: I, Wang Yasheng, am in charge here. You only need to follow my orders. Do you understand?" Wang Yasheng shouted loudly, his voice booming enough for even those at the back of the line to hear clearly without a microphone. 0

The students looked disappointedly at Wang Yasheng and weakly replied, "Understood, Instructor Wang." 0

"Oh, Instructor Wang, you’re so impressive; whatever you say goes." 0

"Heh, it’s already the twenty-first century and we have no rights at all; it’s ridiculous." 0

Various responses echoed from within the ranks. Upon hearing them, Wang Yasheng's face turned dark. His icy gaze swept over us before he angrily shouted, "Everyone get ready! Before we officially start training, we will run ten laps around the track to warm up. If you still don’t understand what it means to obey orders, then you’ll run an additional ten laps—until you do!" 0

With that, Wang Yasheng took the lead and began running around the track with us following behind. 0

Due to school regulations, if a freshman is reported by an instructor during Military Training, they would face serious disciplinary action. Therefore, even though the people in the group were reluctant, they had no choice but to follow Wang Yasheng and start running. 0

Thus, my life in Military Training at university officially began. 0
