They were completely unaware of what was happening outside. Now, they had entered the Tomb and begun their grave-robbing operation. 0

The six Grave Robbers led the way, responsible for disarming the traps within the tomb. Behind them followed five Taoist Masters, tasked with dealing with the foul creatures lurking inside. Dillingchar brought up the rear with a group of Mercenaries, who were there to ensure his safety. 0

The entrance to the tomb was a long Passage, dimly lit, and even with powerful flashlights, no end could be seen. The Passage was wide enough for four people to walk side by side and about as tall as a single story. 0

The ground of the Passage was paved with smooth granite stones, which had become covered in moss due to years of neglect. This made the surface slippery underfoot. 0

Earthwalker Dragon wore a mining lamp on his head and held a compass in his hand as he walked at the front of the group. Liu Yunchong walked beside him, wielding a spade. 0

After walking more than a hundred steps into the Passage, Earthwalker Dragon noticed that his compass consistently pointed in a direction different from that of the Passage. His expression grew serious. He stopped and said to Liu Yunchong behind him, "Cloudwalker, have you noticed how unnaturally calm this tomb entrance is?" 0

"The entrance Passage usually spans only about one hundred to two hundred steps. We've walked over a hundred steps now and still can't see the exit! That's quite strange!" Liu Yunchong nodded in agreement. Since entering the Tomb's Passage, he had been marking the right side with his spade. Up until now, he had not seen any of his marks, indicating they had been moving forward without turning back. 0

Earthwalker Dragon adjusted his compass again but found that it still pointed away from the direction of the Passage ahead. He put away the compass and said, "Cloudwalker, have everyone check behind us to see if there are any traps in this Passage! I suspect that what we're in right now isn't truly the entrance to the tomb!" 0

Liu Yunchong nodded and moved to the back of the line to inform Wu Jingye and the others. 0

"You Grave Robbers really are useless. It's just a Passage! We've come this far without any incidents, and now you’re hesitant to move forward!" Dillingchar scoffed at Liu Yunchong's words. He turned to his Mercenaries and said in English, "You three go ahead to the exit of the Passage. Once you get there, report back to me via radio!" 0

"Yes, Mr. Dillingchar!" Three Mercenaries stepped forward, wearing night vision goggles and holding Submachine Guns as they quickly made their way toward the end of the Passage. They moved swiftly, disappearing from Earthwalker Dragon's sight in less than ten seconds. 0

The Passage was eerily quiet; although the three Mercenaries were out of view, their footsteps could still be clearly heard echoing through the darkness. 0

"Five seconds, five seconds, fifty-four seconds..." Liu Yunchong calculated silently in his mind. Almost a minute had passed, and those three Mercenaries had run at least two hundred meters, yet they still hadn't exited the Passage. This made Liu Yunchong feel quite uneasy. 0

"Dillingchar, call your men back! They won't be able to escape!" Liu Yunchong said to Dillingchar. He didn't care whether Dillingchar would heed his advice; he simply took a shovel and began tapping along both sides of the Passage, searching for any potential traps. 0

Dillingchar's face turned pale. He did not call the three Mercenaries back. Instead, he spoke in English to the Mercenaries behind him, "You all help them look for anything unusual!" 0

"Yes, Mr. Dilling!" The group of Mercenaries quickly turned on their lighting equipment, pairing up to start searching within the Passage. 0

"Something's off! This place is strange!" Wu Jingye stood still. He wasn't looking for traps; instead, he was lost in thought. Wu Jingye was a highly skilled Yin-Yang Master, sensitive to the Corpse Qi emanating from the Corpses. Ever since he entered the Passage, he could sense the faint remnants of Corpse Qi lingering in the air. 0

"Those Corpses should be right here, but why can't I see any traces of them?" Wu Jingye furrowed his brow, his expression dark as he gazed ahead, muttering to himself, "Could it be that those Corpses are hiding deep within the Passage?" 0

After about two minutes of searching through the Passage behind them without finding any traps, they had even moved forward another fifty steps. 0

"Static~~ Mr. Dillingchar, we have reached the exit of the Passage, over!" At that moment, Dillingchar's walkie-talkie suddenly crackled to life, and everyone in the Passage heard it. A look of ecstasy spread across Dillingchar's face as he replied into the walkie-talkie, "This is Dillingchar. What's the situation over there at the Passage? Over!" 0

The Mercenaries responded, "Static~~ There’s a deep pit here with many corpses inside; we haven't explored other areas yet and don't know the situation there. Over!" 0

"This is Dillingchar. Wait there; we will come over immediately. Over!" 0

"Understood, Mr. Dillingchar. Over!" 0

Dillingchar put away his walkie-talkie and looked smugly at Liu Yunchong and the others. "Weren't you just saying that my men couldn't escape this Passage? Now look at you—what a bunch of incompetent Grave Robbers!" 0

Liu Yunchong's expression darkened to the extreme. He paid no attention to Dillingchar's show of bravado; instead, he was carefully calculating in his mind: "In three minutes, at the speed of those three Mercenaries, they must have covered over six hundred meters. This Passage is six hundred meters long—how is that possible?" 0

A straight distance of six hundred meters could cut through half of the deep mountain where the Tomb was located, and the actual burial site was not even as long as the Passage. This was completely unreasonable. 0

Wu Jingye could understand the English spoken by the Mercenaries. After hearing their report, his face turned grim as he muttered to himself, "The exit of the Passage leads to a Corpse Pit! This may not be the entrance to the Tomb but rather a trap!" 0

Wu Jingye glanced at Dillingchar, wanting to advise him to retreat. However, seeing Dillingchar's excited expression, he realized he could not persuade him. Wu Jingye shook his head and said to his companions behind him, "If things go wrong later, we retreat immediately without worrying about anyone else!" 0

"Yes, Mr. Wu!" The four Yin Yang Masters were seasoned veterans; they naturally sensed something strange about the Passage. They took out their respective talismans and focused intently. 0

Liu Yunchong exchanged glances with his five companions before speaking up, "Dillingchar, we six are withdrawing from this tomb raiding operation!" 0

"It's too late to back out now! If you don't want to get shot, just lead the way quietly!" Dillingchar did not give Liu Yunchong and the others a chance to withdraw. He aimed his Submachine Gun at them, forcing them to move forward. 0

"Cloudwalker, find an opportunity for us six to shake them off!" Earthwalker Dragon whispered to the others behind him. The rest exchanged furtive glances and subtly nodded in agreement. 0

The group continued onward, but each harbored their own hidden agendas. 0
