"Wang Shenglin, you must hold on. Once I rescue your subordinates, I'll come to save you!" I shouted towards the vent above the Body Storage Room, then immediately moved to the two boys beside me, starting to check their injuries.
"Could they be poisoned?!" I noticed bite marks on both of them, where large chunks of flesh had been torn away by the Spider Demon. The wounds were dark and purple, with black blood oozing out, carrying a pungent, foul smell.
Furrowing my brow, I quickly removed their shirts and took out Cinnabar, drawing a Detoxification Talisman on their chests.
The Detoxification Talisman is not all-powerful; it cannot cure toxins from animal bites. It can only eliminate poisons like those from Zombie scratches or demon bites. Moreover, if the poisoning has lasted for over an hour, the Detoxification Talisman will be ineffective.
Wang Shenglin's two boys were not too deeply poisoned. After drawing the Detoxification Talisman, I changed my hand seals and continuously pressed on their chests.
After performing the final hand seal, I placed my hands on their chests, channeling my Vital Energy into the Detoxification Talisman. I shouted, "Ultimate Earth, Mystical Arts Have Methods! Vital Energy cleanse the body, dispel the evil poison!"
"Detoxification Talisman, command!"
As soon as my words fell, the Detoxification Talismans on the two boys emitted a red glow. Streams of gray demon poison floated out from their wounds and vanished into the air.
About ten minutes later, no more demon poison was expelled from their bodies. Their complexions returned to normal, and the blood flowing from their wounds turned red again, devoid of the previous foul odor.
"Thank you for your help, senior!" The two boys opened their eyes and struggled to stand up from the ground before sincerely kneeling before me.
I had used a significant portion of my Vital Energy to save them and now felt fatigued, my face pale.
I wiped the sweat off my forehead and said, "Don't do that; the toxins in your bodies haven't been completely cleared yet. It's best not to move around!"
Although I had eliminated the residual demon poison within them, the actual spider toxin remained unresolved. To fully detoxify them, they needed to be taken to a hospital for treatment.
"Yes, senior!" The two boys were extremely weak; as soon as they lay back down on the ground, they closed their eyes and fell asleep.
Seeing that they were still bleeding, I took out my phone and called an ambulance, estimating it would arrive in about twenty minutes.
"Huh?! Why are there also two Zongzi here?!" I glanced at the floor of the Body Storage Room and noticed two bodies wrapped in body bags lying beneath the vent.
I turned around and noticed that the body bags containing Lan Yue and Hu Yalong were no longer on the bed. Embarrassed, I touched my ear; there was no need to worry, as the two Zongzi on the floor were indeed Lan Yue and Hu Yalong.
I hurried over to tear apart the cobwebs on top of the body bags, then unzipped them, revealing Lan Yue and Hu Yalong inside.
"Supreme Law, break!" I cast a spell on Lan Yue and Hu Yalong, breaking the seals of the three Soul Lanterns on them.
After about three minutes, Lan Yue and Hu Yalong gradually regained consciousness. They stretched their bodies and crawled out of the body bags.
I smiled at them and nervously asked, "Hey, Fatty, Lan Yue, are you both okay?"
Lan Yue's expression was very dark, but he remained silent. Beside him, Hu Yalong rushed over, grabbing my collar and shouting angrily, " Brother Jiang Ling, how can you still ask?! If you had come any later, I and Lan Yue would have been eaten by that spider!"
"What if I ended up like Wang Shenglin? What would happen to my Cai Feng?"
Hu Yalong became increasingly agitated as he shook my collar vigorously, making my head spin.

He glanced at his work uniform and asked in confusion, " Brother Jiang Ling, where did our clothes go?"
Seeing Hu Yalong's expression made me think he must have forgotten about being scared earlier. So I pretended to be clueless and shook my head. "Your clothes were sent for dry cleaning by Boss Xu; all your stuff is with him. You can go ask him for it later!"
Worried that Hu Yalong might remember what happened, I quickly changed the subject. "By the way, why haven't we seen Zhang Yang and Boss Xu?"
Given how loud the fight between Wang Shenglin and that Spider Demon was, Zhang Yang and the others should have arrived by now; it was impossible for them not to have made a move.
As soon as Lan Yue heard Zhang Yang's name, he perked up and said with concern, " Brother Jiang Ling, could something have happened to Sister Zhang Yang? We should hurry over and check!"
I nodded and led Lan Yue and Hu Yalong into the room where Zhang Yang was ambushed. Inside, I saw six police officers sprawled on the floor, with Zhang Yang among them.
"Sister Zhang Yang, are you okay?" Lan Yue rushed over, his expression tense as he tightly embraced Zhang Yang's body. He then reached out to check her breath and found that she was still alive.
Lan Yue let out a sigh of relief. He tried to wake Zhang Yang, but no matter how loudly he called, she wouldn’t stir.
Turning to me, Lan Yue asked, " Brother Jiang Ling, come over and take a look!"
I nodded and walked over for a quick inspection. I immediately identified the problem. Taking out a talisman paper, I began to draw symbols with Cinnabar while explaining to Lan Yue, "Zhang Yang and the others must have inhaled the poison gas from that Spider Demon, which is why they fainted. If we can't detoxify them, they'll only wake up after seven or eight hours at most!"
"But with me here, getting them to wake up will only take a few minutes!" Having finished drawing six Exorcism Talismans, I placed one on each officer's forehead. I formed several Hand Seals and shouted, "Ultimate Earth, Mystical Arts Have Methods! Exorcism Talisman, command!"
As soon as my words fell, the six Exorcism Talismans ignited without fire, emitting beams of white light that penetrated the bodies of Zhang Yang and the others.
About a minute later, they began to regain consciousness but were not fully awake yet.
I instructed Lan Yue to stay with Zhang Yang and the others while I took Hu Yalong toward another ambushed room.
As expected, in the other location, the police officers and Xu Jingfeng were also lying unconscious on the ground. I drew a few more Exorcism Talismans and woke them all up.
