Dragging the indignant Lin Ruxian to the side, Li Hong said irritably, "What are you doing? I'll pay you back the ten yuan when I get home. You're a big star; is it really worth chasing me down the street over ten yuan?"
"I... I was just afraid you would run away," Lin Ruxian wanted to ask Li Hong why he was selling his fists, but realized it wasn't the right place for such questions and held back her curiosity.
Li Hong looked at her in disbelief. How much did this person fear he would skip out on paying?
"Fine, I won't hold it against you. If you want to follow me, then go ahead. If you're worried about that ten yuan, just come along," Li Hong said helplessly.
With that, he started the car and turned toward home.
Li Hong wasn't foolish; he could tell that Lin Ruxian had something to say. The ten yuan was merely an excuse for her to approach him. A star like Lin Ruxian wouldn't care about such a small amount of money, and neither would Li Hong.
Lin Ruxian likely wanted to ask him why he sold Fist Game.
However, Li Hong had his own considerations. The Virtual Helmet project was still in a confidential development phase and wasn't something he wanted to disclose. So, he had no intention of answering that question.
Right now, all Li Hong wanted was to get home quickly, pay Lin Ruxian the ten yuan, and send this annoying person on her way.
As the car drove on, Yuchen curiously asked from the back seat, "Uncle, that lady was so fierce!"
"Yes, she's a very fierce woman. Yuchen, you mustn't learn from her. No one would like a girl like that," Li Hong replied casually as he drove.
Yuchen nodded in confusion, seemingly having completely forgotten about their earlier encounter with Lin Ruxian.

Behind Li Hong's car, Lin Ruxian's red Lamborghini followed closely.
At that moment, Lin Ruxian was on the phone with her father, explaining why she had left the breakfast shop.
"Yes, that's right. Dad, don't overthink it. I'm just going out to discuss a collaboration with him."
"Okay, okay, I'll be back as soon as I finish talking."
After hanging up the phone, Lin Ruxian shook her head helplessly. Her father really seemed to be under some kind of spell, always thinking that she had something going on with Li Hong.
To be fair, while Lin Ruxian did have some admiration for Li Hong, he already had a child, and becoming a stepmother was not something she was keen on.
Thus, in Lin Ruxian's mind, Li Hong had long been crossed off her list of options.
The reason she was still clinging to Li Hong was simply to find out what he was thinking and why he wanted to sell off Fist Game, this cash cow.
She had already invested a significant amount of money into the Seven Fairies Squad; if something unexpected happened with the Goddess Alliance, wouldn't she end up losing everything?
Such a loss was something Lin Ruxian absolutely could not accept.
So, she decided to confront Li Hong and ask if there were really going to be any major changes with the Goddess Alliance.
This was actually Lin Ruxian's first time visiting the home of a single man. To her surprise, she felt a rare twinge of shyness and apprehension. But ultimately, her concern for the future of the Seven Fairies Squad overcame her fear of the unknown single man, solidifying her resolve.

After parking the car, Li Hong didn't even glance back at Lin Ruxian following behind him. He carried the groceries in one hand and held the bouncing Yuchen's hand with the other as they headed home.
Although Lin Ruxian felt completely out of place, she still followed him.
When they reached the door, Li Hong opened it for Yuchen to enter and then turned to Lin Ruxian. "You can wait here for me. I'll come out and return your money once I get it."
As soon as Li Hong went inside, Lin Ruxian leaned against the wall and scoffed, "Stupid man, as if anyone cares about your ten bucks."
For some reason, Li Hong's words suddenly reminded Lin Ruxian of a scene from a movie. She felt like one of those people who come knocking to collect debts.
"Lin Ruxian, what are you thinking about?"
After cursing herself for being so ridiculous, Lin Ruxian began to think of ways to sneak into Li Hong's house.
People are like that; they tend to rebel against restrictions. The more Li Hong didn’t want Lin Ruxian to enter, the more she wanted to see what was inside.
Was there something shameful hidden in this guy's home? Or perhaps a world-shattering secret? It was her first time entering a single man's room, and Lin Ruxian's heart raced with excitement.
She glanced inside and noticed that Li Hong had disappeared in search of change. Taking advantage of the moment, Lin Ruxian stealthily slipped into the house.
After a while, when Li Hong finally emerged with a ten-yuan bill in hand, he was astonished to find that this shameless woman had somehow snuck in and was sprawled on the sofa, munching on an apple he had just washed for Yuchen.
"I told you to wait outside for me!" Li Hong said as he walked over, frowning.
This woman had no self-respect at all. It was hard to believe she was a big star in the entertainment industry with no sense of propriety. How could she just walk in?
Lin Ruxian’s face was as thick as a city wall; she wasn’t affected by Li Hong’s words at all. She continued watching TV without responding to his question.
Li Hong felt a headache coming on. He handed her the ten yuan and waved his hand dismissively. "Alright, my big star? I've given you the money, so hurry up and leave. Are you planning to stay and have lunch with us?"
"Sure, I haven't eaten yet," Lin Ruxian replied lazily, stretching her arms nonchalantly.
Li Hong's eyes glinted mischievously as he said, "Aren't you afraid I might drug your food and then take advantage of you?"
Upon hearing this, Lin Ruxian stiffened slightly. Fortunately, she quickly realized it was just Li Hong's ploy and responded defiantly, "Fine! If you really dare to drug me, then I'll stick to you for good. You’ll have to cook for me for the rest of your life."
Faced with such an unashamed woman, what could Li Hong do?
Li Hong shook his head and decided to go to the kitchen to wash an apple for Yuchen.
The apple on the table had been eaten by Lin Ruxian, the female tyrant, leaving Yuchen's face filled with despair, on the verge of tears.
As a devoted father, Li Hong couldn't bear to see his daughter cry. So, before Yuchen could burst into tears, he quickly emerged from the kitchen with a freshly washed apple.
"Yuchen, hold on tight. Don't let the female tyrant take it away from you," Li Hong said as he handed the apple to Yuchen, his tone implying a warning.
Yuchen nodded and immediately hugged the apple tightly to her chest, just like she would with a doll.
Seeing Yuchen clutching the apple as if it were a precious treasure, Li Hong gently ruffled her hair and comforted her, "It's okay. Go ahead and eat it. Uncle is here; the female tyrant won't dare come over to snatch your apple."
"Uncle is so nice!" Yuchen said happily as she took out the apple from her embrace, wiped it off, and took a bite.
