Final Countdown 75 Days
Lu Sha's recovery time was much longer than everyone had been told. Her body had not fully accepted the enhancement from the unknown new elements, leading to a series of unstable phenomena. At first, it was just coughing and fever, appearing no different from a common cold. However, as time went on, Lu Sha's coughing up blood became increasingly severe. Even while lying in bed, her body was drenched in sweat, and every hour she would retch, making it difficult for her to eat or drink. Due to her minimal food intake, what she vomited was nothing but dark red blood.
Watching Lu Sha suffer so much made everyone anxious, like a group of children who had lost their mother. As the person who had modified Lu Sha's body twice, Liang Muqi could not provide a clear solution to save her from the threat to her life. He only made molecular improvements based on serum samples he had prepared three years ago. Before this, he and Xu Yicheng had conducted numerous biological experiments, but none had resulted in phenomena like this.
Now, the only thing the team could do was take turns watching over her 24 hours a day. If anything happened, the caretaker had to immediately inform everyone.

The door creaked open gently as An Xiaotian entered quietly and asked Jiao An in a low voice, "You should get some sleep; let me take over."
"I don't want to sleep." Jiao An stubbornly replied, tears streaming down her cheeks under the dim light beside her chair. "I really can't let go; I can't trust anyone else with her."
"But you've refused to switch shifts for a whole day and night," An Xiaotian comforted her. "It's okay; you can trust me."
"I don't know how to describe my feelings for this girl right now." Jiao An gazed at Lu Sha's flushed cheeks and pointed at the blood-stained tissues beside her. "Xiaotian, she's only twenty years old—a girl without a mother—but even in her most confused state, she still longs for one."
"Perhaps in her heart, you are already her mother," An Xiaotian said.
Jiao An fell silent, staring blankly at Lu Sha's half-asleep figure. Ultimately, she relented but only moved to another corner of the room to lie on the floor while An Xiaotian draped a coat over her.
Final Countdown 74 Days
"This is my proposed solution; of course, if we follow this line of thought and something goes wrong, it means choosing between two lives," Wen Yue City said as he recorded his plan to save Lu Sha on a holographic screen projected before everyone. They stood around the projection sphere as Wen Yue City gestured toward an incomprehensible character that formed the basis of his plan. Nars explained that this was the term used by their Moon People to define the new element injected into Lu Sha's body. However, Nars wasn't omniscient; his understanding of this element was limited. According to him, this element—transliterated as "gami"—was discovered by Earth scientist Liang Muqi and had the ability to enhance human cells for the first time.
Wen Yue City didn't understand either; although both were from the moon, one specialized in military technology and Spell Arts—Nars studied chemistry related to healing but lacked sufficient knowledge—while the other focused on mechanical repair and espionage, far removed from medical chemistry.
They had considered many plans but needed to focus on one issue: the element within Lu Sha’s body originated from the moon, completely unfamiliar to humanity. Theoretically, they could experiment with elements from the periodic table one by one; however, Lu Sha’s body could not withstand such experiments. Moreover, it would violate ethical standards—regardless of perspective, attempting to treat Lu Sha using elements from the periodic table was not a complete solution.
On the day Jiao An cared for Lu Sha for an entire day and night, Wen Yue City presented his thoughts to Liang Muqi, who was at his wit's end: "I am an internal Human infiltrator; I don’t need to elaborate on that identity anymore. However, I believe I can leverage this identity for some convenience now. Yesterday I questioned other internal Humans lurking on Earth; one commonality emerged: Gami Element reacts very quickly with blood cells, which can exponentially increase hematopoietic capacity in recipients. I think this is both good news and bad news."
"Let's hear about the good news first," An Xiaotian suggested.
"The good news is that this proves it's not some particularly serious illness; Lu Sha is merely experiencing rapid hematopoiesis and chemical reactions within her body," Wen Yue City explained. "We don't need to worry too much about life-threatening risks from this enhancement plan."
"The bad news is that Earth lacks elements capable of suppressing its reaction rate—there may be some available but testing them one by one isn't feasible; we need immediate results," he continued. "So now the best course of action is for me to contact internal Humans who possess similar medications; however, doing so could expose me since our communication has mostly been online—a sudden offline meeting might raise suspicions among them because not all internal Humans are still loyal to Emperor Ban Sa’s arrangements; we have already divided into factions of compromise and conflict while harboring mutual distrust."
"If we fail or fall into a trap..." Liu Xuan pondered aloud, "that would mean losing both lives."
"Yes, that possibility cannot be ruled out," Wen Yue City admitted he had prepared for the worst outcome; he initially did not want to share this with everyone.
"But looking at it optimistically, perhaps this could also be a good thing," Liu Xuan said as his left eye shimmered with moonlight color while Nars logged in and pointed at the center of the holographic projection. "If you can obtain it, this will be the optimal solution to our mathematical problem."
At that moment, everyone exchanged glances. An Xiaotian asked, "What does that mean?"
"What he means is that Wen Yue City might be able to obtain their contact coordinates," Xu Yicheng stepped forward and clarified. "If we can pinpoint this location, combined with the signal source we discovered in the Pacific, then the equilateral triangle we need will take shape. At that point, we will have marked all three gathering refuge coordinates of the internal Humans on the world map, making it incredibly easy to destroy the Quantum String Engine Locator!"

The matter of treating Lu Sha became a catalyst for advancing the strike plan.
Wen Yue City quickly found the contact person, a familiar face known as 0033, who was currently hiding in a hospital. He had once been a medical personnel among the internal Humans and had known Wen Yue City before heading to Earth. After further confirmation and understanding, Wen Yue City learned that he had now fully integrated into Earthlings' lives as a member of the compromise faction, living among humans for seven years.
Wen Yue City made a request: "I need an elemental reagent that can neutralize Gami Element. Do you have any reserves?"
"I do."
A green character appeared on the dark screen in front of him. Wen Yue City believed he was hiding within Chinese territory since their communication hadn't even crossed the local network barrier.
"I need it—at least five milliliters. I'm conducting a human experiment, and there's been an accident."
"Is this subject still holding up?" 0033 asked through the communication.
"She can hold on; she's very strong."
"And you haven't... defected as well? Why are you still conducting such activities?"
Seeing suspicion arise in his voice, Wen Yue City pondered for a long moment before replying, "It's part of a human enhancement program. Do you remember those Earth super soldiers that appeared in our files? One girl gained her powers by injecting Gami Element. I have now aligned myself with the Earth Defense Organization, and she is the subject of the enhancement program."
"You mean you're working with The Celestial Warriors Alliance?"
"Yes."
0033 fell silent for a long time on the other end of the line. Wen Yue City understood what he was thinking because he had struggled with similar choices—whether to stand for justice in the universe or to return to the fighting spirit passed down through his people. Nevertheless, he ultimately chose to place his heart in the realm of justice.
"At four o'clock in the morning two days from now, come to E City. The keyword is 'West Gate Tower at a 45-degree angle.' Don't be late," 0033 replied.
"Is everyone there?" Wen Yue City pressed.
"Yes, some are here. Has your Earthlings alliance already set its sights on the location of the Quantum String Engine Locator?"
"Yes," Wen Yue City knew he couldn't hide it.
"Perhaps my connection with you has already exposed everything."
"Ha." Under the light, Wen Yue City muttered to himself in front of the computer, "As expected, you can guess everything."
"Is it in E City?" Wen Yue City asked.
"I already sent you the coordinates; you know where the Quantum String Engine Locator is now."
"That's true... Before the battle starts, I must keep my distance. I don't want the flames of war to harm you. We are already warriors who have exhausted our compassion and duty."

"No way." Liang Muqi stepped forward, looking at An Xiaotian with pleading eyes. "I request to put on the Black Hawk Armor again and escort him for a while."
"What did you say?" An Xiaotian immediately frowned.
